Hot and stuffy”

The window was only able to be slightly opened because of a soundproofing inner window pane as well as having a broken handle. After complaining about the temperature in the room(estimated around 30degrees) We were offered a fan which only recirculated hot air. I suspect the area we were in was particularly hot as the next day there was a fan in the hallway and the fire door had been propped open by housekeeping to allow cool air(17degees) from outside to get in. The response from the front desk was particularly unhelpful. Comments like “all the rooms are like that” which is pretty much unacceptable along with the suggestion we could leave(at8pm) with a refund but they wouldn’t help with finding another hotel..... Very disappointing.

The staff were very helpful couldn’t do enough for you. Room very tidy with all you need to hand. The only down side would be the breakfast room could do with being larger as we were there at a very busy time felt as though we had to wait to use the facilities but other than that great.

The beds were not very comfortable. Rooms were warm hard to sleep at night.

Adequate but not attractive”

Unfortunately I was booked as a weekend trip with a friend in Holiday Inn next door, I asked for a separate room but was quoted double the rate I had paid including flights, I went online and booked (what I thought was the best rate , still more than double I already paid) and found I had booked the cheaper lower class Holiday Inn hotel next door, My room was basic and small and to add insult to injury my friend was upgraded to a premiere room, for which she had paid less than 1/4 price I paid. I would have expected the Staff to have remedied this discrepancy and upgraded me free of charge to the better class Hotel and room.

The hotel is conveniently located which is only 5 min from Buchanan Bus station, 10 min from Glasgow Queens Station and 15 min from Glasgow Central~ Staff esp. Mark was very friendly and helpful who provided us useful info on the attractions and even helped us join a day tour which we originally didnt know where to join! Room was tidy and clean and Breakfast was good too.

the hotel is in a great location for shopping, nightlife and restaurants. there is also a car park across the road and you can be on the m8 motorway in 5 minutes. the rooms are modern, fresh and clean - the staff are helpful and friendly as well. in the morning there is a hot breakfast as well as tea and coffee in your room

Great Location”

This was one of the best stays we had in the UK. The rates were very good especially with the free wifi and breakfast. The staff were extremely friendly and there were so many places to eat, drink and shop within walking distance.

ホテル自体は、バスタブがない、冷蔵庫がない、ミネラルウォーターのサービスがない、ホテルの駐車場がない、くらいであとは快適なホテルでした。 ただ、チェックインの時agodaで事前に支払っているはずのホテル代が請求されました。agodaに連絡して状況を説明したらホテルと連絡を取っていただいたおかげで、無事済んだかと思いますが、何も知らないでそのままだったら、agodaからのホテル代と合わせてホリデイインからの請求が二重で来たかもしれません。ただし、クレジットカードの提示を求められて一度は清算しましたので、クレジット会社からの請求が来るまで、毎日心配な日々が続きます。
