An enjoyable stay”

The Memory In Jeju Pension is located at the Southern part of Jeju, close to Seogwipo (15 minutes drive). It's 40 minutes drive from Jeju-si and Airport. If you plan to drive at Jeju, I would highly recommend Memory In Jeju Pension (MPJeju). You can reach almost all Jeju sight-seeing spots within 1-hour drive. The room is nicely wooden decorated and oversee ocean at a distance. Though we stayed Double-Bed Room, I would recommend Korean Style Ondol for others as the floor is fully-heated. A small kitchen is also at your disposal. You can cook with fresh Korean food bought from E-Mart (5-min drive) and Seogwipo market. The owner is living next to MPJeju. He is helpful and friendly. Talk to him and get ideas on restaurants and sight-seeing recommendations.

Stayed there from 15th Oct to 17th Oct 2014. Location is good, owner of the pension will suggest ways for you to get around, call cabs for you, order delivery for you and offer advice. Very helpful local, and the you can easily go anywhere by calling a cab to bring you to the bus station which just cost about 3000 won. Be sure to ask the pension owner "Darcy" before you plan how you wanna go to your destination!

The owner of the pension, Darcy is a very helpful, friendly and nice person.. He helped me a lot with advice on getting around Jeju island... It was a great experience and I would definitely return and recommend to friends who are going to Jeju... The only thing is you need to rent a car for your stay in this Pension.

I feel very touched that the staff gave me a bucket of tangerine, also when I left the house that the staff chased me to give my gifts (two pairs of eyeshade in early morning. The owner and family are very friendly. they are so helpful to help us call Taxi (cos we ant speak Korean at all) , and when it rains, they offer us raincoats and umbrella! must go to visit them! and they also gave us some cute little gift the day we left, thanks for the host!

very nice place to stay. the environment is relaxing. the little area outside the house is perfect for breakfast. nice decoration and with everything i need in the kitchen. just one point to improve, i couldn't find the office when i arrived.

Nice and quiet, away from the crowd”

Quiet romantic place in the countryside, 5 min taxi ride to town. Host Darcy speaks good English and very willing to help to call a taxi. Only issue is that there are no restaurants or food at the accommodation. Need to buy breakfast and meals from nearby E-mart before you go to the hotel

We arrived in Jeju - on a typhoon day. Darcy was a great help in settling us down and quickly gave us a brief intro of the island and subsequently provided many insightful tips about where to eat, what to do and see. The room itself came with a well equipped kitchen to make a simple meal indoor (NOTE: we bought cooking oil, sauces etc). As the hotel was located quite off the main road, cab was the main transport for traveling in n out. Darcy was most helpful in assisting to book a cab on behalf at any occasion. We hope everyone will enjoy the stay as much as we do. including darcy's lil dog "mun-wan" :)

It was a great experience staying in memory jeju pension. I feel like home. The well maintained garden and cleanliness of room was fantastic. The owner of this pension, he's very friendly and nice. Besides that, he speaks good English and helped us by giving suggestions when comes to sightseeing in Jeju. It was a pleasant stay in memory in jeju pension! *thumbsup*

Home in jeju”

The bed was a bit hard. I recommend ppl to rent a car if they were to stay at this place because even though its near to pretty much everywhere, it's still at least a 10 mins drive away. Eg to jungmun, or to central seogwipo. Homely though it has everything you need and you can cook and all. Lacking a bathtub though. And it has mozzies but good thing they have mozzie sprays in the room. Nice decoration, traditional hut with interior being wood. Good value.

A relaxing little house”

Our whole family (me my wife and my 7 years old daughter) like Memory in Jeju very much. We booked a duplex house and it is very new and clean. The boss Darcy is very friendly and helpful. We are also very happy with the fast internet service within the house. The garden around Memory in Jeju is really nice and we all are missing Memory in Jeju.

For what we were willing to afford this was a great value. I was a little skeptical as I could not find a good map, and the phone number they give you did not work in the gps, but I did map the location out the best I could and the roads in Jeju are pretty ease to manuver so we did find this place pretty easily. Its a great location for this area, you are mins away from a emart, and from waterfalls and other touristy things to do. The place itself is spacious, has wifi and 2 bathrooms, it was perfect for the 3 of us could of fit 4. Little kitchenette was perfect. The owner was very kind and even gave us some of their local oranges, and gave us a couple of ideas of where to go. I def recommend staying here

Nice Chalet Hotel”

More like a chalet rather than hotel. They only have 10 units and the reception is at the owner's house at the end of the road. We enjoyed the stay here... good for couples or travellers looking for a peaceful and quiet place to relax.

Nice Hotel”

The stay was extremely good except for the location which is a little deserted. You have to drive through a small and dard road to reach the Hotel. Anyhow, we enjoyed very much the stay at this hotel.

Nice pension, except the toilet”

Maybe our English version GPS is not up-to-date, we cannot found this pension neither using tel. nor address to search. Fortunely, I got this pension map view before this trip so that we can point the place on the map to guide. One bad thing is the toilet get sucked after 1st day stay.

Quiet, relaxed & peaceful stay”

We stayed 3 nights in a Korean Style Ondol with Ocean View at Memory in Jeju Pension. The pension is located centrally in Seogwipo and is a good alternative if U wish to get away from the busier accommodations near the airport. It is definitely better to drive here. Parking is conveniently available at the pension. Meals are not provided at the pension but wouldn't be an issue if U are driving since U can find food 10 to 15 mins drive away. It is a pretty sight to open your door to tangerine trees, blue skies and the balcony views over the ocean from afar. The room itself is very open-concept; kitchen facilities, refrigerator, dining table, sleeping & living area are all in one room and the bathroom is huge. I have only one small gripe about the shower area - there's a shower screen but there isn't a door. As we visited Jeju in November, it was quite chilly. This wouldn't have been a problem during other seasons when Jeju is warmer though. We picked the Ondol style simply for the experience but for comfort reasons, we probably would go for the normal beds the next time as the mattresses are quite thin. The owner, Darcy, lives in a house at the pension itself so it's easy to approach him if U have any questions about the room or Jeju. He provided a general orientation on the room usage and Jeju during check-in. We were also given a map in English which was very helpful. Darcy has been very kind in providing recommendations on places to visit, avoid & to eat at during our stay. We will definitely stay at the pension again when we visit Jeju the next time.
