Dated and tatty! Needs a lot of refurbishment!”

The location of this hotel is absolutely fabulous, but it's a shame that it has such a dated interior and has such poor, bleak appearance. The first room that's been given to us had an unflushed toilet, a dirty cup in the bathroom sink and traces of sand in the bath tub. Luckily we've been given another one. The coffee was weak and the cooked breakfast was badly made. We haven't had serious issues with the hotel staff or the accommodation, but we like to give you an honest opinion, so the oweners can do something about it and change it for the better. It needs a lot of improvement in terms of appearance and staff management. Staff can be more professionally friendly and more customer orientated.

The May Fair Hotel”

Our stay at The Mayfair was pleasant. We had a family size room on the ground floor which was fine, but basic. Needed a little updating+freshen up but was ideal for us. New curtains+lampshades would have made this room better. The only down side was our room seemed to be underneath the main entrance hallway, so was a little noisy at times. The staff were quiet, but friendly. The included breakfast was good, but again the dining area could have done with an update. But overall our stay was very pleasant+the location was perfect as we were travelling with a 7yr old+ we were a stones throw from the beach. Will def stay here again + recommend.

weekend break”

first room on the ground floor was dark and outdated{needed a complete refurb} the window had no lock so after complaining was moved to a room on the top floor. this was much better clean and airy shower left a bit to be desired if you want a luxury break then this hotel is not for you , if you want a fantastic location then try this its a bit pricey for what you get but the staff are nice
