Anniversary”

We booked this apartment for our 25th wedding anniversary, arrived and was greeted by a lovely young woman on reception, who was very helpful, our apartment was lovely, clean, bathroom was spotless, would definitely recommend to friends and family, and The Anchor Line restaurant was also excellent.

This place really exceeded our expectations! We were a bigger group and was split into different rooms (and because of space, not together), but every room was really clean and the higher floors had a better view of the surrounding neighbourhood, so request if you can. Tight security with key cards requiring you to enter the premises and your room level. We did not have washer/dryer in our rooms, but there was a shared on in the building. Staff were all friendly and helpful, there was a problem with a washer/dryer and the hot water during our stay, but they were on the ball and was quick to deal with the problems so it did not cause that much of an inconvenience. The rooms were all as pictured, and while there were steps that would lead up to the lift in the building (as these houses usually have), they were few enough that even my mother whose mobility isn't the best could still navigate to the lift quite easily. Location was super near to the train station and shopping areas.

If I had to pick a negative it would be no parking. But parking is a 5 min walk and they will give you a coupon for half off.

Great place to stay in central Glasgow”

A warm welcome met us at the Native. We were delighted with the offer of help with our bags when we arrived. The studio was lovely and spacious. With bed very comfortable. Air con was very effective and silent. Will be back.

Location and staff is great. Close to shopping areas. Restaurants stop serving food at 10pm. Lots of pubs too. Do not expect full service hotel. Rooms are very small. Booking website has this place at 11 am checkout. I get an email from the hotel I have to checkout at 10am.

Great location, but not great for family travels ”

Native is very centrally located and allows for easy access to shops, restaurants, and historical attractions; however, if you are traveling with children, this is not the place for you. The classic studio is very small. Also, washer/dryer are only in some rooms. You will not be allowed early access to your room, which is difficult upon arrival after a very long day of travel. Every hotel we’ve ever stayed allowed us access once we arrived. The AC did not work. The staff is professional, but not friendly. It’s not bad, it simply didn’t work for our needs.

Perfect Location ”

The location is perfect. It’s super near shopping street and train stations. Right across the road is a bus stop where you can board the city sightseeing bus and airport bus. Place is clean and nicely decorated.

Best hotel I've stayed in recent years”

I traveled quite a lot to different countries and Native Glasgow really impressed me. Can't be better location, very nice room and view and super friendly and helpful staff. A night shift staff even helped me to take the clothes out of laundry machine in the middle of the night. Can't say enough good thing about it, highly recommended and I will definitely come back.

Absolutely perfect”

Beautiful 1 bedroom apartment, fully furnished and equipped. Very comfy and decorated with taste. Well located, close to everything, very central just behind the train station. Guess utility room with washing machines! The view is not great but the location makes up for it! Several great restaurants near by.

Superb location, great staff. ”

Select your room carefully. Whilst facilities are fine, there is not much space between walls and bed in room 603. Fine if your agile and can walk like a crab but would not be ideal for everyone. Apart from that the location is superb, the staff friendly and helpful, the restaurants adjacent not to be missed and reasonably priced. I’ll definitely be back. 👍😉💯%.

Excellent modern home from home”

I couldnt decide between staying in a hotel room or a studio at Native and thankfully decided on the studio purely to have more room and I'm so glad I did. I stayed for 2 nights in Native Glasgow and loved it! Everything was great from the welcome at reception to the little thoughts of milk in the fridge to the Elemis toiletries. The location is excellent, its so central to everything and has great security. The only downfall is that there are lots of steps leading up to the lift to get to reception so not ideal for anyone with a lot of luggage, in a wheelchair or on crutches. Although I'm sure the staff would be more than willing to help if you ask as they were super friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again the next time.

Very Close to Central and Queen Station”

This apartment building is re-decorate from an old building in city centre, only 10 mins to central station and 5 mins to Queent station, Central station can connect to other countries while Queen station can connect to Edinberg or other cities nearby. Toilet, dining room, bedroom and cooking utensil are clean and well prepared. No oil and seasoning provided. The only difficulty is I stayed in one bedroom apartment, the lighting cover the kitchen area is really not sufficient, I have some difficulty which cooking at night. Besides the kitchen lighting, it is the best service apartment that I have never met.

Would suit couple,business traveller, solo traveller or even groups! No breakfast option but you are in such a great location there’s plenty of options in town.

Location excellent, very close to shops, places to see and transport links. The staff were very helpful and friendly and willing to advise on places to see. The room should have been better designed. No heating, storage was an issue as was the placement of the TV. That being said, we would consider staying there again, principally because of location and staff.

Great apartments”

Brilliant location staff were very helpful and studio apartment we were in was fantastic only complaint was no soap holder in shower area but this is a minor point as everything else is tops
