this b&b needs up dating steps up to door and path very uneven loose slabs no lighting up a some steps from gate very dark, front and rear garden areas untidy. advertise parking but really nowhere to park safely. needs a complete refurb inside.

One night stay”

We arrived on an extremely warm evening and checked in without any problems. Our room was on the first floor and although clean/tidy was much smaller than anticipated. The window had been opened for ventilation but as there was no air-conditioning (and in all fairness the UK are in the midst of a heatwave) it was hot and humid. We noticed others in the building had propped their door open with shoes etc in order to move air around. In the morning we went to the dining room for breakfast which provided a good start to the day. The Villa is in good walking distance to town centre and car parking (no onsite parking but can leave car in street between 6pm-8am foc). Staff were helpful and polite.

It is acceptable since it locates at a very convenient location. But when we just arrived we found an “un-used” toilet roll was already partly wet and left on the loo.

Good area. Disappointing B&B”

Turned up at the B&B. Dave (who never introduced himself) let us in, showed us the room (opened the door whilst saying nothing), handed us the keys and then walked off. Not sure if this is normal but it was a very negative and unpleasant welcome, had no idea where breakfast was, no idea of the area and just felt very unwelcome. On the other hand the bed was very comfortable and slept alright although the curtains and walls were ridiculously thin. Sadly based on my stay I wouldn’t recommend.

Only used this B&B for sightseeing around Bath on our way home from a week in Weston-Super-Mare . The room was very small and you wouldn't want to use it for anything other than to sleep in really . There was some dodgy wiring running down the wall from the tiny screen T.V. and i didn't really like that we had to fill the kettle from the toilet sink . The good things were nice people running it for the owner and a very nice continental breakfast plus a low price . In all , nice people and in a handy place for walking to places to see .

Me and my siblings stayed there for 1 night. We couldn't find the place at the beginning, then I rang David, he came outside of the apartment right away and led us in. Although the host was not that talkative, but we could find all the information on the handout. Our room was at the second floor, small but well-equipped and comfortable. The water pressure was low but the water was hot. We had the breakfast on the other day, David made the toasts and we served ourselves yogurts, ham, cheese, jam and butter, milk, juice, and coffee, it was very basic but good enough. After breakfast, we checked out, and David let us leave our 3 luggages in the reception room and collect it after we came back from our stonehenge tour in the evening. The location is close to city centre, 10 minutes walk to Royal crescent as well. It's a good stay.

My husband and I have just spent 3 nights at Lamp post Villa and for the price we paid we thought it was a great location and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Bath. If you want a luxurious hotel you need to be wiling to pay at least 3 times the price of this place. If like us you are looking for a comfortable bed good parking and standard facilities then this will do nicely.

actually no parking at the hotel. Only park the car at the street at Night and move the car before 8:00am. Should be more detail descriptions in post.

Pleasant host, central, good bed, no WiFi in room, bad breakfast”

The host was a friendly and helpful man. The breakfast included was just bread with cheese or ham, fruit, juice, milk and coffee/tea. The coffee machine really needed a cleaning. We left our coffee without drinking it.

2 nights spent at B&B”

We spent 2 nights in this very clean, small BandB in Bath. Very close to city centre, lovely friendly staff, very clean house and very comfy bed. Breakfast adequate as you have to pay £6.00 extra for a cooked breakfast. Please if you are reading this can you start having thick bread for toast, thin slice just does not do good toast. Lovely coffee, fine cereal, a little cramped in the breakfast room but otherwise all very good.

The B&B is some distance from town, the breakfast served quite late 8am, which is rush for us to join the morning tour in 8.20.. The room is clean and quiet, good for short stay.
