Nice hostel in the center of Bath”

Nice and clean hostel. Good for sleep overnight in Bath. Location is excellence. Bathroom usually busy in the morning and evening, you need to queue. There’s a case underneath bunk bed with lock to put your stuff, but some of them are locked by previous guest. Check out time is a bit earlier than other(at 10am.)

Overall is good”

It’s like the cleanest hostel I’ve stayed in my journey this time. But just three downsides, 1. There’s no lift, and you really need to take many stairs till you get to your room. So, if you really have heavy luggages, you can choose others now. 2. The toilet is quiet far. The room I stayed is far from the toilet. I do need to go up and down to get there. So if you need to get up to go to toilet during the night, you’d better ask the staff to assign the room that near to the toilet. 3. It’s really noisy. I could hear people outside who were having beer and chatting during the night. And the window is useless for sound- proof at all.

everything good here & i even sleep very well...but (always have "but" in the end haha😂) for those who is a light sleeper, the receptionist always stand by for ear plug to the guests because it can be noisey in the evening... overall - excellent 😀😁 i will come back again 🙌

Nice room, location is good”

Easy to locate, 10mins away from railway station. But a little noisy, being located beside a night club. Nicely designed room with good working facilities. Staff service to check-in could be better though.

St. Christopher's in Bath was just what I wanted and needed; a great, safe, centrally located place to stay.

LOUD Music from bar downstairs ”

The hostel itself was quiet good. But they have made the decision that they are willing to sacrifice the comfort of their guests in order to sell a few beers. The ground floor is the hostel-owned bar, Belushi’s. they played loud music until 1am. This was a Thursday night. This made sleep impossible. Even with industrial earplugs in, and headphones playing white noise, I could still hear the music loud enough to keep me awake.

A hostel but has self-contained room”

This a hostel but our review is for a self contained double room with bathroom. It was clean and comfortable. Set back we werent bothered by the noise in the corridors. Ten minutes walk from the railway station. The big let down was the breakfast, very very basic hostel with plain bread, canned fruit to add to cereal and little else.

Convenient for city center”

It's a pretty standard back-packer type of place. Mostly accommodation ins dorm-style although they have a few private rooms, but you still share bathroom and shower with others. It's right over a pub with food service, which can be convenient. The breakfast is pretty so-so.

Avoid it if you want a good memory from Bath”

Do not go there unless you don't mind to be insulted. It is noisy every night and all the night, only one bathroom for nearly all the guests it can be full packed easily. There is no proper check-in reception at night. It can happen that they can refuse your booking confirmed for no reason. It is up to the manager to decide who can stay which is obviously against law. They are not communicative at all, you won't get any e-mail to prevent you a change in your booking. And don't expect to be refunded even if their are in fault. So don't waste your time and book any else.

The price is worth”

everything has, they even offered free coffee and tea.The price is worth . The location is nice. But if you want to put your luggage before or after check in, you need to pay. Because downstairs is bar, so at midnight is noise. Anyway it is quite good place to stay one night in Bath.

Perfect location but it leaves a lot be desired”

The location is just perfect. The beds are average. They charge for the storage room. I don't understand why the toilet and shower facility get dirty so quickly even though the cleaning lady always works so deligently. And they are seperate for women and man, so I didn't feel comfortable. They don't have a kitchen but there is one microwave on the top floor. No sink, no plates, no utensil. I feel bad there is no other better budget hostel in Bath tho.

Disappointing hotel in such a wonderful city”

Having lived in Bath and visited it many times since I've left I have to say that this is the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in, in Bath - and that does include the time that I was a student in Bath! The room was poorly decorated, the (shared) bathrooms had taps that didn't work, showers with very little power or hot water and some of the rudest staff (although there were some good people as well) I have encountered anywhere in the world. I strongly encourage you to stay somewhere else in Bath, even if you are not quite in the city centre - the city is so small that an extra 5 minute walk to stay somewhere really is worth the extra effort.

Fix the wifi”

Room was cold but there was a small heater avaliable. Staff were great, everything you would expect from an international hostel. The only complaint is when you say you have wifi you should let people know it doesn't work unless you are sitting on the one table near reception in the bar. It's the only place it either connected or didn't drop out every 5 seconds.

Location in centre and nearby Waitrose ”

The chilling room not so clean and furniture a bit old. When 1st day there no water provided and asked me go toilet to take drinking water. I feel a bit weird. other then that all is ok.

Extremely noisy place, impossible to sleep even when using earplugs. Music from the pub underneath stays on until really late and it feels like you are in the nightclub. Wouldn’t recommend it to anybody at all, not worth the money for a sleepless night. As well I was charged twice for the hotel room at two different prices which makes it hard to notice, staff didn’t check that I had already been charged for the room and charged me again, received the money a few days later which destroyed my budget for the trip. Be aware of this as I have read some more comments from people saying they were charged twice!

Mould spots on breads ”

The location of this inn is very close to the city centre. But this is probably the only advantage of it. The included breakfast is a nightmare. We can clearly see green mould spots on the breads provided. The attitude of the girl in the inn is bad.

Reasonable price with nice bar”

Staff are nice. After check-out we found that our belongings are left in the dormitory room. We returned that night and asked for help. Staff were really helpful and helped us got back our things. Bar is good downstair. Not too noisy and wifi is stable.

Very beautiful. ”

It's easy to be located, just opposite to the post office. However, it's a bit noisy. At night people are talking loudly at the bar. In the morning, There are heavy traffic. The bath rooms are shared by both male and female together.
