Amazingly clean and beautiful location”

Excellent location though having more info on how to catch the bus there would have helped. Clean. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast with friendly chef. Beautiful views. Good facilities. Loved my stay.

Good hostel”

I stayed here for a night with a group of friends and it was a lovely stay. There are bathroom and toilets attached to the female dorm i was staying in. Also, there are personal charging point and lamp attached to every bed. However, it will be even better if there is curtain in every bed for privacy. Do note that there is no luggage storage in the room and no towel provided. There is a cafe in the hostel so you could grab a bite without having going into the city. My friends and I drove to the hostel, but we were not allowed to park in the hostel ground. We had to park along the street outside the hostel which was free anyway, The hostel is about 10 mins drive away from city centre. When we returned to the hostel, it was dark along the street, so it was difficult to locate the hostel. It will be better if the hostel could install lights to their signage at the entrance. Overall, we had a lovely stay and will recommend it to everyone.

Great place with great value”

We were so lucky to be able to experience staying in a great 19th century architecture with great facilities with great value of money. Breakfast served was good. U have a choice to cook on ur own as they provided self catering kitchen too. Comfortable common area eventhough u don't really need it coz u' ll be busy exploring breathtaking Bath.

Good stay”

It was a good stay in YHA Bath. It is newly refurbished and very cozy. Our room (6 beds dormitory shared bathroom) was very spacious and we loved it. The shower and toilet were very clean too. We definitely recommend this place to our friends. It is value for money. However, the location is quite a distance for a backpacker. You will need to take public transport (e.g. bus) or drive to reach the location.

Great stay, comfortable bed! Only stayed one night but wish I could have stayed longer, it was a comfortable stay and everyone was very nice

Lovely hostel in an old mansion”

Lovely and enjoying stay with good , clean and sufficient facilities. The minor lack to be no TV at common dinning aeea as the plaster on top under repair.

Good stay! ”

Spent two nights and the facility was new, clean and good. It is about 30 minutes walk from the city centre but definitely worth it because the view was amazing. Will definitely be back!

Great Spot for a Trip to Bath”

The hostel is a really nice old house up on the hill overlooking Bath. It's about a 20 minute walk into town but the town is quite small so it's not too big of an issue. The facilities at the hostel are quite nice and it is very clean.

Great location and price”

As with all YHAs, don't expect 5 star luxury, however, the facilities were all clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable. The only worrying thing was the fire alarm went offin the early hours of the morning for no apparent reason. There was no fire....but there didn't seem to be any evacuation processes either? Other than that, it was pretty good.

Beautiful Town”

Stayed for 2 nights, we had the "bell tower" room second from the highest point in the hostel. Very narrow spiral staircase to get to our room we could just fit our suitcase up the stairs had to duck to get to our room which was ok considering it was built in the 1850's. Helpful staff, had a toilet outside our room. This was handy however the toilet flushing did not completely remove the waste & had a few "surprises". The buffet breakfast looked good for £5 tho we did not have it. Beautiful building I would stay again.

cheap and affordable”

we stayed 1 night recently; stayed in a large room with about 2 bunkbeds. The room was ok with lots of space to store our things. We had a private bathroom and seemed to be cleaned regularly.

Difficult to find at night”

its very hard to find this place at night since there's no enough signage and its very dark. thank god the staff willing to guide us via phone and wait for us before registration counter close at 11pm. we make it just on time. however we have issue with our room, the toilet sink and cause wet on our carpet. no one available to make a report and its already late.

comfy”

i spend only one night. only complain is that there is no onsite parking. I believe on site parking will make this hotel avery nice place to stay. i parked my car on the road and had to walk long way to come to the hotel especially at midnight

Did what was required”

At the last minute needed somewhere cheap to stay for 4/5 adults near Bath University. Unfortunately road was being re-surfaced so parking difficult but YHA staff helpful. Room in annexe with washbasin in room and showers/toilets next to room.Room OK but needed a lick of paint.Looked tired, but for one night it met our needs. Linen clean and bunk beds fine. Not looking for luxury. Bar,dinner and breakfast available. Unfortunately breakfast a little cold.

Good hostel”

This was a great hostel for a couple of days travel. It was clean, had small dorms that weren't too crowded and was slightly out of town (still in walking distance with regular bus) which meant it was quiet. The only negatives were to driveway (if you have a heavy case I'd suggest getting a Cab so it can drop you at the door) and the wifi which was very overpriced. In this day and age, it was frustrating that something that is provided freely almost everywhere else was so expensive.
