Loved the location of this hostel. It was very clean and inviting, however I did not meet many people from this hostel as a solo traveler. There really isn’t a common space besides the pub and most people at the pub were from outside the hostel.

Big bedroom and bathroom”
We stayed at the private room, the room was spacious so did the bathroom. It was clean, and there were A LOT OF power outlet! So don’t worry if you want to charge your phone because they also provide the usb-charger. Towels were included at the private room. There was no AC but there’s a fan and a heater. It’s 7 min walk to the borough market and around almost 9-10mins to London Bridge Station. Overall it was great

love the bathroom,staff are kind, but didn't manage the problem guest well ”
I love the bathroom, clean and great shower,however the room is not that clean , dusty and yellow spot pillow case cover,door is old,need to push hard to close well,so it'd be a bang to close it , staffs are kind and nice, while I stay, a guy stay there being selfish, closed all windows and fan , made the room like an oven because he doesn't like noise ,and aggressively turn it off again when we found it's hot at 02:30am .for what he did and said to me, i didn't feel safe at all, The staff did help talk to him, anyway a nightmare night for me, the other day I knew the same person did this again several times al,he stayed quite long there , IT would have been great if they had warned this guy not being selfish when staying in a small room with many people, just buy earplugs, then yesterday night drama might not have happened . but still , thank you for the staff being kind .

Needs more work and proper work done. Bathrooms are filled with black mold on the ceiling because there is no exhaust or air movement.

Great location for a budget stay”
I stayed here for 2 nights and it was worth the money paid. There is a nice pub downstairs for those who want to booze. They serve breakfast at an extra cost. Can't comment on taste or quality as I didn't purchase breakfast during my stay. The one thing that they can definitely improve on is the number of WC without showers and the overall cleanliness of the toilets. One thing I missed which I really utilised during my Europe trip was non-availability of kitchen for hostel guests. Even a simple microwave would really help.

I'll start by saying the staff is very friendly and helpful. But that can't negate the fact that the men's dormitory is smelly and small. It wreaked of mold as soon as I walked in. There is very little air circulation. The window opens only the slightest bit. But a 3 tier bunk bed blocks the fresh air to the other 6 beds and guests. The beds are so low, I hit my head almost every time I went to bed and got up. Only book if you're desperate. Even then, try and find another hostel elsewhere.

Not a Great First Experience”
While the location and pub downstairs were not terrible (plus a limited nighttime menu), the accommodations were pretty bad. The bed wasn’t horrible and they had a luggage storing area, but other things of note: -Rooms were 90 degrees with the smallest of fans for ventilation. Windows may be opened, but the hustle and the bustle of those on the streets can be loud. -Bathrooms had zero toilet paper -Shower + toilet rooms the floors were almost completely covered with water, miscellaneous hair on sink and toilet to a noticeable degree. It was a struggle to change without getting my clothes wet. -All dormitory doors slam heavily when let go, awakening all in the room. Other guests knowing this seemingly do not care to be courteous about it either. I checked out after the first night and very thankful I had friends to stay with. As my first hostel experience, it doesn’t make me at all happy to support them and I’ll likely opt for a hotel or Airbnb next time even if it isn’t cost-effective.
