Good atmosphere, easy access to London by underground subway”

Lovely place, great drinks downstairs, easy access to Lambeth North and not far from Waterloo station. Next door to Imperial War Museum for an easy activity. I found doors are loud so if you're a light sleeper this may not be the place for you! Rooms get warm though windows open and a fan was provided. Towels for buy or rent, showers don't have much shelving (hook on back of the door). All is clean and modern. Would stay again!

Clean, great location, amazing value for money”

Stayed here for £11 and was so impressed. Was a bit worried at first because it said 18 bed mixed dorm but when me and a friend turned up we were put in a 9 bed all female room which we were really happy about. Felt really safe, everything was clean, staff friendly and chilled out atmosphere, great central but quite location so would defo stay again if in London.

Great value and location”

The room is small but it’s really clean. I was pickpoketed in London so I lost my ID, but the staff were helpful that they still found the way to let us stay. Great location. It takes only 7-10 minutes to walk to Big Ben or London Eye. I have read many comments about the noise in the shared room. Fortunately, my roommate were really quiet and polite so I think if you are lucky to meet nice roommates, it will be a great value

Great experience ”

This was one of the best hostels I've been to. Quiet, dark dorms with windows that open wide when it gets too hot, a noise curfew that people seem to respect at least somewhat, friendly staff, fun pub to hang out in, fantastic powerful hot showers with no timer. All the staff was kind and helpful, they really saved my butt one time when I accidentally bought print-only bus tickets while all print shops were closed and they printed it out for me for free. Only downsides - bathrooms could get extremely busy as there was only two toilets shared by a whole floor, and there is no kitchen or hangout room, so there are no facilities for preparing, heating, or storing food. But luckily I just bought things to eat that day that didn't need heating up, and staff seems fine with hostel guests sitting in the pub and not buying anything /eating their own food. Wouldn't hesitate to rebook this hostel, and that's the first time I've ever been able to say that about any hostel!

Decent place with an odd vibe”

The energy is very bad for some reason even though it is a nice place. Most of the staff was nice, but the small women with the short hair gave me a really racist vibe. In general I didn’t feel comfortable asking the staff for suggestions or anything. It wasn’t a welcoming atmosphere. Might be due to covid or brexit or whatever, but as an honest feedback, you should not go there if you’re looking for the fun hostel vibe. If you just want a clean place with everything you need, it is fine.

Booked a bed in a Quad room (2 bunk beds) but obtained a 6 beds bedroom (3 bunk beds)”

I'm generally dissatisfied because when booking through Agoda I booked (and paid) for 1 bed in a 4 beds bedroom (described as 'quad room', which is 2 bunk beds) but obtained a 6 beds bedroom (3 bunk-beds) so, more crowded. I might have chosen other hostel if I would have known that there were not Quad rooms here as the staff confirmed. They only suggested me to direct any complain to Agoda, which I will do. Despite this, the location is very convenient, they have luggage storage during your departing day and the place has been recently refurbished so it can worth it for these reasons although there are some important things to consider, which are not so positive: only 2 bathrooms too share (so showers overcrowded in rush hour), breakfast starts at 10 am (very late), and the emergency lights on the ceiling of every room are strong bulbs that are never switch off so you need a sleeping mask for sure, specially if you are in the top bed of a bunk bed (my case).

Good”

Decent budget accommodation in drab side street near Waterloo/Lambeth North stations and local shops/cafes. Staff civil, efficient and unintrusive. Toilets clean with soap-dispensers, but more sinks would be useful. Breakfast expensive by hostel standards. Including basic toast, cornflakes, coffee etc in the price would ass value/goodwill. I believe no guest kitchen or lounge is provided, with the bar room the only social facility outside dorms. Lockers are available but the cage style makes them vulnerable. Some dorm-sharers were inconsiderate with alarm clocks and prolonged loud chat.

I was travelled many countries and every one of them have a common area for eat some food or hanging around... But in here nothing like that... Bathrooms are not that clean and for the size of the hostel not enough toilets... I saw they are cleaning but since it's a huge crowd it's going to get dirty soon... Bed was good but I got upper bed and it's not that fun to climb up... No bed side lamp as well... For one night it would be fine but I suggest to find some other place if you planing to stay more...
