Our family of 7 had a wonderful time in Puluong, and can’t recommend Puluong Home enough. It’s definitely the cleaniest Homestay I’ve stayed and so we’ll taken care of. The pool, the food, the staff are all 10/10. Their dog Xám is lovely too. I can’t wait to come back!

Puluong Home does ‘homestay’ style accommodation well. Grounds and public areas are simple but clean and well-kept and this carries through into the rooms, which, while not adhering to Western-style comfort (the beds are rock hard), have got the basics right. Unfortunately, it’s not clear on Agoda that the ‘shower’ in the double rooms is shared and this was a major let down for me – I’m beyond the age of being happy to share a bathroom. Fortunately, they are nicely done and kept clean, though busy pre-dinner. I did have a look at the bungalows and would return if I could book one of those as they had the en suite and balcony I was craving. Back on the plus side, one of the winning features of the place is the infinity-style swimming pool, which is in a truly beautiful spot – just avoid going when it’s busy. Staff seemed willing enough, but this is clearly a place for Vietnamese and foreigners are slightly feared and not specifically catered for. That’s fine, but it makes communication difficult, both linguistically and culturally. My Vietnamese got me some of the way – Google Translate and messages on Facebook got me the rest. The food menu is all Vietnamese and similar to what everywhere else is offering: a selection of beef, pork, chicken, fish and vegetarian dishes, stir fried noodles, soups and salads. Lunch of noodles, tofu in tomato and morning glory was tasty and plentiful. The breakfast ‘buffet’ was not so good - edible but tasteless and uninspiring – and my dinner of minced pork with leaves with like eating cardboard. I may have ordered badly. The final issue worth mentioning is that the rooms are in a stilt house and it rocks. When anyone else moves, it moves. Perhaps at quiet times this would not be so noticeable, but when you’ve got flat footed kids running around in the early hours, it’s not conducive to a lie in, unless you can pretend you’re on a cruise ship. The hidden gem of Puluong! Staffs and the family members are super friendly. Very clean toilet and bathroom. Nice bedroom with beautiful views. Amazing home cooked meal. They located in Ban Don, so you can have a walk around the rice paddy fields. Highly recommended this place to everyone who visit Pu Luong. We definitely will come back.

Lovely stay in Pu Luong ”
This was my first time in Pu Luong. There are MANY honestays/resorts in the area but I’m quite happy with Pu Luong Home. The grounds are lovely (2 pools, koi ponds, dining areas, etc) and the staff are accommodating. I arranged a guide for both days I was there (they can also arrange travel to/from Hanoi). The price was unbeatable! Definitely would recommend.

I was impressed by Nha Phu Luong's service. We booked a Double bedroom with garden view, but when we got the hotel, they provided us a Bungalow one. They said that because it was not tourism seasons so they could serve the better one with same price that we paid. It was so awesome offer. The hotel is located in the highest part of Pu Luong field and you can directly see the field from your window. The decoration inside the room is my style too. Don't forget to mentioned that we had a really warm and delicious breakfast before leaving. Thanks Nha Phu Luong for a very nice experience here.

I stayed for two days and it was very nice. room was cozy and clean. pool was lovely but the water was a bit hot as it sits in the sun all day long. views are fantastic. food was good but overpriced.

bungalow is better option”
only bungalow rooms have attached shower and big window. double rooms use common shower and toilet. nice buffet breakfast. my second night is only me as guest so i have small breakfast but still be good. swimming pool area and restaurant are clean. price is ok but too much for solo traveller. better they have 2 price for small portion and big portion. only Ban Don and Kho Muong is beautiful. I walked very far then realized that i should relax at Puluong Home rather than walking.
