      A Place to Remember ”

The resort was chosen from their website. There were four of us and we had a great room together. We enjoyed the resort. There were only a few of us during our stay. They also provide a room for the drivers at an affordable rate, which all worked out for us. They had friendly, accommodating staff. Our only problem with the place was that their masseuse were all being rotated so you can't request for the same one everyday. Food was good so we did not have to eat outside of the resort. Overall, a very fun and enjoyable mini-vacation for the Valentine's day. They also had a live band for two nights, which was fun to listen to. The owners were very caring and went around to the guests to ask each one of us how we were enjoying our stay everyday. I would recommend Punta Riviera to any of my family and friends who wants to visit Bolinao, Pangasinan.

      A comfortable and relaxing stay”

At first,I was also hesitant about this hotel because I read a lot of bad reviews from the previous guests. When we arrived in the hotel,we received a warm welcome from the staff and they even allow us to check in 1 hr earlier. It was raining during our whole stay and the staff provided a big umbrella for us to use.We stayed in Riviera Room 1 and I can say that it has the best view of their infinity pool and the beach. The room was clean. The good thing about this resort is they have a spacious and cozy reception area or maybe it's a lounge next to the reception. The WIFI is fast even if it's raining. They were able to attend all our needs(we requested to change one of our channels on TV to TV5 coz my bf likes to watch PBA).There are plenty of restrooms/shower rooms in the area near the pools.During the breakfast, there were some hotel guests that were complaining because they waited for a long time for their meal to be served but as we observed before we came in there was a big group of people eating breakfast in the garden(that explains it) We were hungry that time but we waited patiently. All in all the stay it's all worth it.The weather was bad but we enjoyed our trip.I just hope next time the bathroom is extra clean(I'm OC with this don't get me wrong..the bathroom was clean and odorless but "general cleaning" is a must)

      Great escape”

The place is really good. Activities like kayaking, billiards, jacuzzi and spa are awesome. The pool is good. Shallow beach were you cannot swim obviously but very near to white beach and other attraction nearby. For Filipino, the food prices is too much as it is just nearby the sea so I suspected seafoods are cheap(outside restaurants are cheaper) breakfast should be buffet for the price we pay or atleast you don't have to pay for an upgrade to have American breakfast! Rooms are good staffs are awesome!

Pleasant Stay in an Average Resort”

      Good views, Big room, Price

Generally, I had a pleasant stay in this resort. I do appreciate the good views from the resort with a free 30-min kayaking. The room price is relatively ok as compared to other resorts and the room size is big enough for comfort. On one hand, there is no wifi in the room (only in common areas), food availability is too limited a little late at night prompting you to drive to the town which is quite far from the resort, i.e. around 20 mins drive and i noticed that the morning guard on duty is not accomodating to guests. The beach infront of the resort is not ideal for swimming. It is just for walking and sightseeing. A drive to Patar beach (around 10-min drive) is the best for swimming. Patar beach is a public beach but highly recommended for swimming due to its clear waters, non existence of jelly fish and relatively white sand. Along the way to Patar beach is the lighthouse, which is worthwhile to visit.

Will never come back to this place!😦”

The place is too crowded to the point that it's no longer relaxing and their food is disappointing for it's price. In our room we can here all the noise from our neighbors and other people singing in the videoke. The shower in our comfort room is not working as well. Bolinao is really beautiful and have heard a lot of good reviews about it. But i will not recommend this particular resort who wants to relax during vacation. Unless of course you want to hear drunk people singing and shouting/talking loudly while you're trying to sleep in your room.

Very nice and food was excellent. Even you have to wait up to one he on your food, it's worth waiting and staff will inform you upfront about how long time you will expect to wait. We ordered 1 hr. Massage at pool side in evening, not really good and not worth 600 pesos. The resort are well maintained and in overall a nice place.

fine location - good swimming pools - green environment

While the staff amuse themselves with each other... the (few) clients come second place. The (Sunset) room was overpriced... should have had a direct access to the pool with small sitting area. It always partly amuse me partly upset me, being in the tourist business myself, how some resort owners try to gain more money by serving a too simple breakfast which is so called included. While fruits are abundend and rather cheap... one gets a frankfurter or corned beef from a can. When we asked to have dinner served on the terraced area with view to the ocean, we were told that the "policy" did not "allow" this ... while 2 hours later a group was sitting there having dinner... probably friends of 1 of the staff!?... Again... if I have clients at my own place... I make sure they're well served and they will come back or send friends... Here at Punts Riviera... although the potential is there for such "Happy" experience ...the staff did not find it important enough... or maybe they did not understand what small gestures it takes to make someone's stay unforgettable.

During our entire 3-Day stay, food ordered in their restaurant arrived more than an hour contrary to their promise of serving in 15-20 mins. There weren't many people at the restaurant so there's really no excuse why food is served very late. And their food are overpriced. They even serve coffee in broken and dirty ceramic teapot, very unacceptable. The air-conditioning in the room takes time to cool and the door knobs are very rusty. There is a foul smell in the bathroom and the beddings are very thin that it doesn't provide any cushion at all. Location is far from the popular Patar Beach and the beach within the resort is very low-tide that you can't swim at all.

      Not worth it.”

The resort is outdated. The rooms look old thought its clean when we checked in but no one bothered to ask to clean up rooms the following days, not even a change of towels. So, the rooms have a gream tendency to be very soiled from the sand at the beach. The location isn't too great as the beach front area is not swimable. A huge area of the beach front has low water with sharp corals and a lot of seaweeds. Then, huge waves comes in probably a few hundred meters that I dont think anyone would dare to swim (to sum up, you would not enjoy the beach area). Good thing is that the resort has 2 pools to be used for free and the 3rd one you have to pay extra as it has obstacles which are just ordinary ropes. They have billiards, darts and kayak at river for free for 30mins/day which thank goodness are available or else it would be totaly be a boring place. It is not worth the money you pay. Staff are not trained to be accomodating well. They need upgrade and training.

      Don't stay at Punta Riviera”

I rate the hotel a zero as the rooms were not cleaned for our second day the bathroom smelled bad because the sink emitted a very bad smell we had to ask for toiletries and toilet paper which wasn't replenished for day two of our stay. The Food was expensive and the time it took to wait for it was between 45 to one hour and it didn't taste that good. there was also a lot of ants and we also found a cockroach not too appealing for the high price we paid for the right to stay. then before we checked out we were asked the embarrassing question to wait while they checked the room to see if we stole the dirty towels and blankets. So that is why I rate it a zero and I will recommend any of our friends not to stay there.
