Puro Surf has become like a second home for me and my family. We make sure to visit a few times a year, and we're always mesmerized by the amazing and soothing experience. Beautiful pool and amazingly friendly staff. They now remember us so they're even friendlier, and it makes out stay feel more cozy.
I'm just disappointed I didn't stay for longer this time. I wanted to take one last dip at the pool! Incredible place and beautiful views from the surfing scene.

Beautiful water-front hotel with great service right in front of the surf! Book it!”

This is one of the best hotels in El Zonte. Everyone we interacted with from Ed & Nicole at the front desk to everyone at the restaurant & pool were great and provided excellent service. The onsite, open-air restaurant is a large space and, like everything else at this property, is done very well. We tried almost everything on the menu and didn't have a bad dish! The included house breakfast has great options as well. If you're surfing in El Zonte, this hotel is a great choice as it overlooks the surf and is right on the beach! Post-surf hangs at the pool were great too. We booked the room with 2 beds and it was a nice size for 2 people with multiple surfboards. We didn't feel cramped at all. If you're looking at Puro and it fits your budget, don't hesitate! Drop in and book! Yeeeeeew!

The Best :)”

What can i say :) This place is just magical. I loved everything about it. The rooms were great, the mattres really comfortable and the view was magnificant. The food was so delicious and the stuff very kind and friendly. I also took 6 days of surflessons and spend therefore s lot of time in the surf Academy which i also higly recommend. Stanley is a great teacher. Thanks for everything. Even withouth the Surfcamp - i stayed 2 nights there without- it was amazing. I highly recommend this Place :)

Where do I start? this place is training center for surfing and they offer classes as well as prime beach location. Did I do any surfing? Absolutely not. I enjoyed my mojitos by the infinity pool, which was empty because all the other guests were out surfing. I had all my meals at Covana restaurant who's menu is super fresh and delicious and healthy. I normally like trying different restaurants when I travel but the menu was so extensive here and had so many of my favorites: grilled octopus, fried fish, avocado toast, etc that I couldn't wait until my next meal. The service is also impeccable. Special shout out to out to the hotel staff: William and Jeremias who made sure that we were well taken care of. My room was a double and was facing the ocean and even had a little balcony. The setting was so serene, I will only stay here when visiting El Salvador. Also for those concerned, the area was super safe. I can't wait to come back.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. The grounds are manicured meticulously, the infinity pool has a view to die for, the staff is second to none and very friendly, the restaurant has a good selection of food, the bed has a comfy memory foam top, and their surf academy is extremely impressive with all the facilities and tools they have to help you learn to surf.
That I had to leave.

I looooved the experience. The place is great. The beds and pillows are comfy. The food is amazing.
The access road is a bad one. There is no sign on where to turn at the entrance from the highway. We were able to get there because we were using Waze.

We loved staying here! The food at the restaurant is so so delicious, with tons of food options! It's a small boutique property which makes it feel very intimate and comfortable. The pool is perfect for kids with killer views, easy access to the beach, and the surf academy was awesome! The rooms are very comfortable and cutely decorated, with plenty of privacy.
- no hot water, so just cold showers - not near enough day beds by the pool- there's only like 7 so it was almost impossible to lounge by the pool because they were always taken. - they play music until about 9:30 pm, which sets a nice vibe during the day when you're relaxing by the pool, but kind of annoying when it's nighttime and everyone is trying to sleep, especially kids.
