Fanstastic value in the heart of Hanoi”
Had a great stay here for our arrival to Hanoi, with airport pickup arranged. Driver was there within a few minutes of us exiting airport and dropped us right to hotel door. The hotel staff are so lovely and bend over backwards to make sure you’re happy and have everything you need. We had a lovely girl Tuit (wrong spelling sorry?) who helped us check in and gave us lots of suggestions for nearby places to see/eat. The rooms are kind of basic but very good value for money, immaculately clean and have everything you need. Only fault I’d mention is there was no soap in our bathroom to wash hands. Not a big deal though as Everything else is so good. Location amazing, staff so brilliant and value for money all huge ticks in my books. We are actually booked to stay again in a few days when we return from Sapa so definitely recommend.

Good breakfast they serve. Easy to find this hotel and nearby restaurants and streets are walkable. Street a bit dark at night but quite safe actually. Not so much noises coming from the street. Really worth the price.

Disappointed with some facilities ”
There's no kettle for hot water. Aircon not cold enough but luckily there's a fans. WiFi signal inconsistent sometimes no WiFi reception. Room door lock difficult to lock. I booked this hotel because it's Agoda preferred and there's a comment that says the hotel are new. Which is strange because the hotel is confirmed not new at all.

Misleading Listing”
In the listing, the pictures are quite deceiving as the actual rooms look very old and run-down. The listing states that breakfast is INCLUDED but when we arrived we were informed that there is NO breakfast provided, they had stopped serving breakfast since Covid. For the price that we paid, we expected breakfast to be served. The atmosphere of the hotel is not pleasant at all as the receptionist smokes in the lobby and plays loud music at night. The walls of the room are very thin hence the noise of other guests talking and shouting could be heard from inside our room which kept us awake at night. Our room was on the 3rd floor and I had requested a higher floor room to be further away from the loud noises, but the receptionist informed me that they only had the bigger room available which we would need to pay a fee to upgrade. Overall, a big disappointment to book this hotel as it did not meet our expectations at all. You would be better off booking another hotel.

Only inform no room available on the spot, despite booking done. Staff not good with English, difficult to communicate. Did not offer for compensation, instead asked to top up extra money in order to stay in their branch hotel. Room old, fairly clean. Not recommended to avoid unpleasant experience of last minute stay cancel during travel.

When we first arrived the room was very damp and smelt, we needed to ask for our sheets and towels to be re-washed as the ones we had were all dirty. At some point we also had no hot water. All in all the room looked nothing like it does in the pictures, especially the bathroom which is actually just a big room with no separation of toilet and shower. We chose to pay a little bit more for this hotel thinking it was a lovely little couple’s place but honestly regret booking this in the first place and can’t say enough how badly this places overcharges for what you actually get.

This is a,very terrible hotel without honesty. I confusingly booked for 3h (misleading info provided). They agreed that I stayed,over night and charged me with full price and promised to return my 3h pay the next day. I did pay full price already, but they didnot refund my 3hour room booking. Not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great value for money”
We booked the last minute since we just transferred from a different hostel. I highly recommend this hotel: good location, clean, with elevator, delicious buffet breakfast, and friendly staff. We even extended for half day since our flight is at midnight. We also booked our Halong Bay tour in the hotel and since we woke up late (we thought the tour was cancelled due to typhoon) they allowed us to pack breakfast. We enjoyed our Hanoi trip thanks to Queen Light Hotel.
