    We stayed at Quite Simply French for one night & had breakfast the next morning. The room was beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, had up to date technology & every comfort needed. The bed was lovely & comfortable, the bathroom & shower room was modern & spacious with an excellent hot shower. The staff were so friendly & engaging. We had a delicious home made breakfast with a large choice on the menu. Overall it was an excellent room & breakfast with lovely staff.

    I did not want to leave! It was such a lovely place where I felt totally at home. Thank you!”

    The breakfast (an extra charge) is well worth it! There were so many delicious choices and it was all very fresh and delicious.
    The only thing I did not like was that the chair at the vanity table had not been cleaned and it was filled with biscuit crumbs. A small thing, but as everything else was so clean, it really stood out.

    Everything! It was faultless! A perfect stay for my birthday. There wasn’t one thing they missed! Room was stunning very stylish and comfortable and the meal we had at the restaurant was delicious and cocktails were great! The cleanliness was second to none and staff were so attentive and friendly!

    It was amazing”

    Everything was just wonderful. The mix of contemporary and old design elements. The breakfast was out of this world. The staff were attentive and friendly. It was a wonderful romantic break away, with a very central location by the River Lune.
    When it rains the vellum windows naturally close so the room got rather hot (we like to sleep with fresh air and windows open). So ventilation (although the room was very big) was a slight concern for us. From the website I believed that all rooms had a bath. I was very slightly disappointed that we had a walking shower. I wanted more subdued lighting in the room and the lights were rather complicated.

    Friendly team!! I spent two weeks in Lancaster and I booked a room in this nice hotel. The team was friendly and professional at the same time. The room was beautifully refurbished and clean. The restaurant was also fantastic. I suggest this beautiful place and I hope to come back here again.

    Everything we liked it so much we have already booked to stay again. Went to ask this morning for late checkout was told not to pay for it and to leave at 12.30 as it was the last room to clean anyway. If I could I would rate this place even higher it is amazing.

    Great hospitality! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and made sure that our stay was memorable. We are local to Lancaster, and discovered that QSF offers boutique bedrooms when we decided that we would go to QSF for a celebration meal. (QSF is known by locals for excellent food.) We thought we would give it a try. We will definitely be recommending these rooms to any family or friends visiting us in the future. Worth every penny. THANK YOU team at QSF.

    Everything. So not what I expected. This is deluxe on another level. Outside you see this small quant restaurant and when your taken upstairs, well the room was amazing. The comfort to the cleanliness. Had breakfast, not cheap but worth every penny. If ever back in Lancaster , will definitely return.

    We stayed here last night in a suite and I have got to say it is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The location is perfect, our room overlooked the canal & everything is in walking distance. Will def be returning here & recommending to EVERYONE! Perfect hotel & prefect staff. Thank you so much!

    Outstanding”

    Room was stunning and spotless with great facilities. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to a member of the kitchen staff having covid but Rob was extremely helpful in offering local alternatives. We visited for my partners birthday and the staff added a personal touch in the room and said happy birthday to her when we arrived. They couldn’t have done more for us. Breakfast was lovely too. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

    The lay out, decor.....we loved just about everything
    The only gripe we had was that the heating appeared to come on in the middle of the night, making us both wake up sweating from every orrifce!!!!! Had to go down & turn it down. Apart from that, it was a fab room & thoroughly enjoyed our stay

    All staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Jemma was so kind and patient and we were made to feel really special before my daughters wedding day. Thank you.
    Possibly a kettle in the room. The Tassimo maker is good for coffee but not as good for tea.

    ‘quite simply fantastic’ we felt as through we where treated as royalty, fantastic modern & spacious room with high tech amenities & the food was incredible.
    would have liked a standard kettle in the room as my wife drinks tea and not coffee (although I appreciated the nespresso machine) but aside from that it was faultless
