Great Hotel - Convenient”
Hotel Global View Niigata was more than I expected. The room size is the "cozy" Japan style room which was expected. Location was great, just across the street from Niigata Station. So easy to get to. Check in was easy. The employees at the front desk were so nice and it seemed that they all spoke some English which was nice. We got there before the check in time so we left our luggage with the front desk and picked it up after 3PM. Breakfast was excellent. Typical Hotel breakfast with Japanese and American selections. We visited in January so the public bath on was very enjoyable when it was cold outside. The bath also helped soothe tired aching muscles after long walks in Japan. If you are one that would prefer more space while taking a bath, I would suggest the public bath (open from 3pm to 10am). I would definitely return to this property if looking for a hotel near Niigata Station.

Good choice for solo traveler”
The location is super closed to the train station or bus stop with a really affordable price. And the staff is so friendly and patient that can repeat what they said for me as a foreign traveler. The most great thing is the とろろand 卵かけご飯in the breakfast. They are the best!

Great location, Helpful staff”
The staff here was so friendly and helpful l. We drove to this location and had some trouble figuring out how to get to the parking. The front desk attendant was quick to help guide us and the parking staff communicated the process very well in simple Japanese. The rooms were bigger than expected and were very clean. It is right next to Niigata station, so there are a variety of restaurants and transportation options for those who don’t drive. There’s even a Starbucks next to a drug store 2 blocks away, which is nice if you’re looking for a place to grab a cup of coffee in the morning. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again.

The best thing about this is the location. Right across the street from Niigata Station and in the heart of the nightlife district; super close to restaurants and other forms of entertainment. Great value for the location and choice. As with most Japanese hotels, it was clean and staff hospitable.

The room is bigger than expected. Staff was very friendly. They delivered heater to the room (upon requested) as it was colder that night. Located opposite the JR station which is a plus point for travelers with luggage.

I stayed at Global View before the pandemia and they went for renewal. It was a great experience. This time the whole rooms were transformed to a very minimalistic ones. Kudos for them. I really recommend you all, especially if you are a business traveler. Good and outstanding experience.

Near to main station ”
The rooms are bigger than the usual Japanese standards and they provide bottled water for guests daily. The breakfast selection is good. Do give it a try. If you need to travel around Niigata area, the hotel is around a 5 mins walk from the station with lots of restaurants around. The only problem we faced was with the room card which denied our entry every night. Had to go to the front desk to have it settled.
