Stopped over the weekend of 23/03/19 as visiting London for a friends birthday. Excellent hotel and the staff were superb!! From the minute we got there the staff couldn’t do enough for us and were so helpful & polite over the period of our visit. Room was spotless & clean and an excellent size. Would definitely return to the Ramada hotel again & would definitely recommend to all my family & friends!!!

Stayed at this hotel before flying out of stansted. Its very close to the stansted car parks approx 1.. 5miles. The hotel had everything you needed and the beds were so comfortable i will stay there again

If you are looking for something good and cheap and you don’t mind taking a bus to London, I really recommend Ramada. It’s one of the cheapest you’ll find. We took a room with 3 beds (1 adult, 2 16yo) and the beds are comfortable. The room isn’t that big but it’s clean with a little desk and 2 chairs and a nice TV . The bathroom is spacious and clean. There were clean towels and toilet paper. The staff were always helpful and available. I read a lot of negative reviews but I really enjoyed my stay here.

Brief visit before catching an early flight ”
The hotel is located at the services at ‘Birchanger’ and so you need to get a taxi to the terminal. We were travelling by train to stansted and so we needed a taxi both to and from the hotel. This doubled the price of the hotel!!

First the good things: It was cheap Reception staff were all friendly and polite. Now for the bad: Hotel is very dated Hotel has a strange aroma. Room has a musty smell TV very slow TV remote stopped working Beds extremely soft Air con/heating very noisy and does not work well Just about everything in the room is worn Tea, coffee, milk etc. Just sitting messily on the desk. Not sitting on tray or container. Tea and milk not replenished by room service No socket near bed Bathroom in poor condition Sink does not drain Shower drain cover broken Shower gel holder broken Silicone/sealing in shower looks to have been done by a blind man.

Stayed here after a 12 hour flight due to location. The heating and ventilation system was rumbling all night and we were told at 2:30, once the receptionist had time to investigate, that the hotel was full and we couldn't be moved. Emailed the manager and have still not received any response. Emailed on the Web and had a generic reply offering 30% discount, which I still haven't received. Would probably be fine to stay if not around Room 229, or if you need to contact the hotel management.

It's far away from the airport. They didn't offer a free shuttle bus. Although they could help reserve the taxi, it is expensive.
