Very clean rooms and linen. Swimming pool is very good. WiFi is good. Balcony view is very nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. A drawback is that there is no restaurant but they provide nice area for dinning (food ordered from outside), also area for barbeque if you want.

Hidden gem belagio on Oman's Cote d'azur”
If you cannot spot turtles from your balcony at Ras al Hadd guesthouse, this is a perfect place for a stopover on your way to Ras Al Jinz for turtle watching, which is just 15 km away. The price-value ratio is very the best we had in Oman, with a very motivated, friendly and helpfull staff (we were provided with information without even asking!). Nice spacious clean room, caribean-style beach with turquios water and soft white sand in walking distance, dinner provided into our room at a very late hour with a smile and extra complimentary water bottles supplied for our next trip made this stay a very nice and personal experience. Should we ever come again to Ras al Hadd area, we will definitely stay in this guest house! Caveat: The location of the guest house is not correctly displayed on the agoda map - use the coordinates in the review mentioned before, or follow the signs in the city and as soon as you see a higher building with blue lights, go in that direction.

Turtle Time”
We just spent one night at Ras Al Hadd Guest House but they couldn't do enough for us. Welcoming dates and coffee, rushing round sorting our rooms, helping us get food. So very friendly. Low price yet still had a huge cool room, pool and table tennis table, and superb service. Many thanks

Great Staff and Excellent Service”
If you are driving to this place at night, you might find it a little confusing to locate the driveway that leads to the guesthouse - because there isn't one! The building itself is lighted up, but you'll have to be careful to not take the wrong path and drive into shrubs etc. We (two ladies) arrived late and wanted to do turtle watching at the Ras Al Jinz resort nearby, but we were so tired from long hours of driving. Subeesh, one of the senior staff members, actually drove us to the resort (15 mins away), waited for us for about 2.5 hours, and then drove us back. He also helped us order our dinner for the night. It was very much appreciated because we are sure we would not have made it for the turtle watching on time if we had driven on our own! The Ras al Hadd beach nearby was beautiful - I think one of the best I saw in Oman, and it is within walking distance of the guesthouse. This is an excellent place, great value for money, and the staff makes all the difference. Subeesh was excellent. I would stay here again, if I was visiting the region again :)

Beware of the "turtle watching tours"”
I can't imagine that anyone stays here except for Turtle Watching. While the hotel, facility etc were fine we were unhappy about the turtle watching experience: When we arrived, we were asked if we had a reservation (we didn't) and were told it would be 3 OMR per person with an Omani guide. We assumed (based on some previous reviews) that this would be at the Ras al Jinz official facility - but what we got in the end was a visit to the beach 5 mins drive away. We still saw a turtle but we were unhappy to see that the turtle was being forcibly restrained from going to the sea so that us tourists could see it. The "guide" couldn't even tell us what kind of turtle it was Next the "guide" took us to a section of beach and tried to explain something about broken beaches that none of the 6 people present could make head or tail of. We also saw a sign at the hotel saying beaches were off-limits after 6 pm (the hotel guy mumbled something about the climate but I now understand it's about protecting turtles) so quite possibly we were taking part in an illegal tour. This is still close enough to Ras al Jinz to make a visit (especially since the official facility is quite expensive to spend the night in), but just make sure that the tour you are going on is to the official facility (it even costs the same amount, but you should reserve in advance to make sure you get a spot)

Basic, clean and very service oriented staff”
We stayed one night here when we visited the turtle reserve because all rooms at the turtle reserve were fully booked. The hotel is only about 15min drive from the turtle reserve and we were driving our own car, so this was a convenient place to stay. The hotel reception were very service oriented and attentive. The room was basic but clean, including the bathroom. There was enough hot water on the showers. The room had a small fridge which was nice because we had a cooler box with us in the car and could put our soft drinks in the fridge overnight. We had booked our turtle viewing in advance but the hotel also inquired us upon arrival if we need to book one - we didn't ask for the price or the location because we already had a booking with the Ras Al Jinz reserve. We had some difficulty finding the hotel because we arrived at night and it was already getting dark but I believe that in daylight it should be easy to find as it is rather visibly located on the other side of the unused air strip. All in all I was very satisfied with our stay.

Best guesthouse you can ever find!!”
My stay in the Ras Alhadd Guesthouse was so great as this place is the best you can ever find! We were welcomed with fresh juice and the room was so clean and tidy and nice! We got the key to the huge balcony with an amazing view to the sea that you can reach easily in walking distance to watch the turtles. Subeesh from the guesthouse is so nice and caring and was helping with anything we needed! He even gave me new flipflops when I lost mine!! He will make everything to help his guests feel at home, always smiling and so kind! We enjoyed our stay there so much and I am sure everyone who stays there will have the same pleasant experience. A value for money choice”
It is an excellent value for money choice to stay near the turtle reserve. Facilities were basic but very clean. We also had a dinner there but it was not something great. We preffered the turtle watching offered by Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve, since we weren't very sure if the turtle watching offere by this hotel is legally certified

Great place to stay”
Budget options with this level of quality are rare in Oman. Everything was spotless clean, the staff was super nice and always ready to help. They have wifi everywhere and they can take you see the turtles at night and get you dinner from a local eatery directly to your room afterwards. One caveat: the location marked on Agoda is not exact. The proper language is 22.533024, 59.789814 for which you have to drive until the end of the tarmac and then drive over what looks like an out of use airstrip. From there, you'll see the outline of the building at the side of the "road".

Generally ok except for weak wifi reception in the bedroom and no proper road leading you to find the guest house. Luckily I asked people on the road and they are so friendly to lead us there with their car

Very clean and comfortable. Staff very nice and helpful. In excellent location to go to the beach or the turtle reserve. Good Tv, good toilet. The only downside is that location on Agoda does not.match withthe physical location. It's ok if you follow the signs, but these might be difficult to spot during the night.

An old hotel with old furniture also .. The price is expensive comparing with zero services .. There are no services in the hotel and the internet is very weak ... During the weekend I could not sleep because of the inconvenience of the sound of the impact of the doors of other rooms
