Amazing value for money”
Everything in Coron seemed booked out or overpriced and then we found RB Transient house. Very cheap accommodation but very much worth its price. It’s simple but perfect for people on a budget. We stayed in a private room with a fan, since the place is close to the sea it was never too hot. Pros: -spacious room -all facilities were very clean -fully equiped kitchen and fridge for guests to use -friendly staff who can help book tours Con: -no hot shower -shared bathroom among a larger group of people, never dirty but sometimes you had to wait a bit before use -around 10/15 minute walk to the busy centre where most restaurants are -thin walls would make it noisy if fellow travellers in the building would not speak quietly early in the morning

Best Backpacker's Choice”
The location of this place is located a little bit far from the main city. Walking in this neighborhood is safe. People here are very welcoming. This place is ment to those backpackers who wants a cheaper but a cozy feel of a homestay facility. There's no private comfort room but they have a designated common CR for their guests. Free use of TV and kitchen - you can buy your food at the food market and cook it by yourselves within RB Transient house. Their staffs will assist you whatever you need and arrange vans and tours for you during your stay. This is cheap, very comfortable to stay. 😎😎😎😎😎

A Nice Staying in Lovely Northern Palawan”
At first, it was a shock for me to arrive in the House entrance...the facility is located in a very poor neighbourhood, i had to walk on a handmade wooden bridge over a mud river. The petite lady that manages guest is a kind, smiley and hard working person. I got assisted with info, bookings (the tour operator they send clients to is satisfactory), i was served a delicious breakfast and got covered with anything i asked for. The room was ok, it was a fun room, oldie but comfy. The price is very good and i will prefer it again when i revisit Coron.

Good budget hostel”
I stayed here for 4 days and I was very pleased with the place. The location at first felt a bit unsafe, but after the first night I realized that I was quite safe, many families with cute little kids who say hello to you everyday! The rooms are clean and simple with shared toilets and kitchen. The best part for me was that they can arrange the tours for you; I booked most of my tours with them and I had no problems, prices are good and pretty much the same as the other places around town. The staff was really friendly and helpful, they arranged everything, even my transfer to the airport. The only con for me was that the way to the hostel is a bit dirty and smelly, but the hostel itself is super clean so it was not a big deal for me. I would recommend this hostel if you are a backpacker or a budget traveler who doesn't mind a simple accommodation.

The area is a mangrove area that has been converted to residential area hence the transient house set up is elevated to avoid flooding during high tide. It is located within mangrove cum residential area. The room is basic but the staffs are very friendly and it has a curfew until 10pm for safety of visitors. All in all, it's bearable since most of your time will be sent outside of your accommodation.

We stayed one night again because our ferry to Iloilo was cancelled again .. Anelie she's working as well in this hotel ( she makes the best omelette and pancake !) , she was smiling because we went back to puerto backpackers and gave us our room back . If you have any question go to her ! She's really lovely! Thanks for staying again !

Living as a local ”
This hostel is very clean. It is in the middle of a mangrove and I really enjoyed my stay here. The bridge that I saw in many reviews is fine and safe. Just be aware on your way back at night (bring a torch or use your phone's flashlight)! The only complain is the water during the night time. You can't shower after you come back around 11 pm. Lack of water and pressure on the shower. Overall, people here is quite and polite. Don't expect a party place and common area is only the kitchen.

Staff was very very nice , helpfull with everything, big plus is the kitchen... it's not so close to coron town centre but tricykles cost just 20 pesos so it's ok... for low cost travelers it's nice , good and safe :)

No Shower, Clean Rooms”
Good: Very inexpensive. 10pesos trike ride from main part of town. Clean rooms. Stay in local part of Coron town in house on stilts. Friendly fellow travelers. Bad: Walk over a footbridge made of planks that needs repair in some spots, so bring a torch. Shower was a bucket and cup. Wifi not reliable. Request not to stay in Room 4. No window to the outside. Stuffy.

Stayed three nights close to the ferry port and away from the expensive loud and busy Center of coron location is unique on stilts but it is a bit dirty and smelly the walk there and planks of wood some a bit far apart luckily the hostel is very nice and without smell staff are nice and coooking is available could do with one or two more showers and toilets

Though it's gonna take a while for you to reach the main road, and the area is pretty sketchy because of its surroundings, but surprisingly, it's not that scary. I loved the fact that the maintenance of the restrooms are very good given the fact that it is used by everybody. It's always clean and it has bidet. No power or water interruption as well. Our room was spacious, decent, and clean. It's such a steal because we stay there for 4 days and 3 nights but paid only Php1,500 (we're 3 people btw + 1 extra bed). The staff there was nice and very accommodating.

Location is far from the town proper. Ypu cant easily found it. You have to go through a swamp area and the road to the transient house is a wooden planks underneath a swamp. Stay for less than 30mins. There are cheap and safe hostel in the town proper. You just need to add a few budget.

Location is a bit disappointing”
The place is located in the mangrove area, where the presence of garbage are visible and mosquitoes are everywhere (outside). Inside the house, it is well maintained and the staffs are nice.
