Beautiful flat, stunning views very central and a pleasure to stay in, warm, lovely hot shower

Shameem met us on arrival at the door and showed us the apartment. The apartment was spacious, in a great location and with a wonderfull outlook. Nothing was too much bother while we were there.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Very beautiful atmospheric flat with really cosy lighting, comfortable large kitchen and a gas operated fireplace. Astonishing window view and a safe quiet street. Very friendly welcoming hosts.

As it is a Georgian flat with authentic wooden windows it gets quite cold, particularly in the bathroom. There are two curtains in the bath that unavoidably stick to the body when having a shower, making the whole experience rather unpleasant. That's by far the only drawback which is outweighed by all the positives.

Thank you, John, for all your help. The property was beyond perfect. Whenever we needed something, it was already there. Loved the big rooms, the views over to Arthur's Seat, the proximity of the city, the amazing quietness considering the city was so close. We wish you all the best for the future with your venture. We found the parking just down the road was fine - we just fed the meter 4 hours a day, came back to move it, and went somewhere else.

Nothing to do with the accommodation but Edinburgh city (not the Royal Mile side) is pretty chaotic with roadworks so it was easier to stay on Regent Terrace and pay the meter rather than find free parking. We also parked during half of one day in St James Quarter which is a fabulous shopping centre near Regent Terrace. The average cost is 3 pounds/hr.

It was an absolutly wonderful Apartment in a safe and very beautiful area of Edinburgh(new town) Close to the station, the cafe’s, the shops and bars. The host John was Nice and helpful. We recommend this place- 10/10. We would love to come back.

The property is in an excellent location -10/15 mins to Princes Street and right next to Carlton park which is a lovely walk. The terrace overlooks Arthur’s seat so has great views too. The apartment itself is very spacious, the decor is not to everyone’s taste but personally I loved it and it fit the style of the apartment. We were a party of 2 adults + 2 teens and suited us perfectly. Teens were happy with Netflix on the tv 😂 The facilities were fantastic- everything you need for a stay, cups pots pans etc. Towels provided, iron & board…Washing up liquid etc. The chocolate biscuits tea coffee milk etc are a nice touch and we appreciated after a long drive. John, the host, was a lovely guy. Very friendly and accommodating (we were a little late due to traffic). All in all a brilliant stay and would definitely recommend.

The bathroom window is not frosted -which I hadn’t noticed in the evening - so just worth pointing out to pull down the blind! The shower pressure wasn’t great and lose taps on the sink. Very picky point but the entrance had a strong smell, like wild garlic? I didn’t mind it but the teens mentioned it.

I loved the style of the apartment. Really matching the surrounding area of this part of Edinburgh. Kitchen was well equipped so we could prepare some meals for ourselves and kids. Kids really liked the hydro massage bath. Lots of space for four people. Awesome views. Nice and quite despite being so close to the city centre.

The property is located in a quiet area but close to the historic old town, so it’s really nice for families to stay for holidays. My two kids at primary were so excited at the spacious room

Georgian property in a very desirable part of Edinburgh. The main room was huge and very elegantly furnished. The beds were very comfy with white cotton bedding. There was everything one could want, even a washing machine, we were only there for two nights so didn't use the cooker or washing machine but everything you would need was supplied. There was milk in the fridge and there was a supply of tea and coffee and chocolate biscuits. John the host and family were so lovely and lived in the flat above although we didn't really see them but there is you needed anything.

Everything else was great no problems. Staff very friendly and helpful.

There was only two issues really,which was the internet not working for the first day and the shower was temperamental sometimes.

Everything was so good, location was just perfect, John was such a sweet guy and super helpful, deffo coming here! Loved everything about this apartment!
