Asturias hotels & accommodations

I hesitated about whether to rate the facilities as good or excellent. The reason I did not rate it as excellent is probably unfair to the hotel. My husband is a vegetarian and I do not eat a lot of meat, so eating out in rural Spain is somewhat difficult. I think if they get more guests from the US and the Uk they might introduce a few more vegetarian options.Wonde...

Nice modern hotel in the modern section of Oviedo, about twenty minutes from old town. The rooms are big and of a high standard. The only negative I have to say about the hotel is the lack of personnel at reception and always having to queue to speak to receptionist. However, they were always pleasant and helpful when you eventually got to speak with them.

There's no need to spend more money on a fancier place. There are restaurants (albeit not trendy) in the area. Breakfast is a simple, but adequate, buffet, and quite inexpensive. There is no parking offered by the hotel itself, but free parking on the street is easy to find. An easy, straight-forward 30-minute walk brings you to the city center. Regarding the city, I ...

Very convenient parking garage with a discounted rate with ticket validated by NH Principado. You have to pay for parking at the window...not the machine. Room was small but very comfortable. Location was very convenient to restaurants, park, and the church square.

Geographically very well placed to avail of seaside attractions and excellent restaurants with great fish menus. Very easy to access motorway to get to mountains and the great variety of attractions in the Cangas, Cavadonga and Picos de Europa areas. In these areas you will also find very nice eateries with good menu de dia. An enjoyable stay in a nice area and a nice ...

Just great to find such a lovely little hotel outside Bordeaux so that I didn't have to drive into the city and battle with the traffic and parking problems. The hotel itself is quite charming with a cobbled courtyard and private parking to the front of the building. The room was very comfortable with all the necessary accessories of ensuite shower room and loo, intern...

To arrive at a hotel and the staff takes your car to a safe carpark nearby was a pleasant surprise, especially when you arrive rired after a long drive. The whole stay was fantastic with a clean quirky room at the highest floor, great service in the restaurant, and very attentive staff. The owner can be proud of the people he employed.

We arrived very very late but were still met with efficienct friendliness. The room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. An excellent breakfast beautifully presented. The hotel was very tastefully appointed and with many facilities - restaurant spa etc. extremely well priced too. I would certainly stay again.

We picked this hotel because it has a spa, and we had planned a relaxing couple's weekend. Little did we know that the spa needs to be booked in advanced as it is not exclusively for hotel guests, we rocked up sfter breakfast expecting to be able to use it but it turned out to be fully booked. I would not have minded it too much, if it wasn't that I asked for the openi...

from checking in to checking out the stay was fabulous set on the main square in a quaint town like Asturias was superb lots of bars cider bars (for which Aviles is famous) all in short walking distance lots of coffee bars shops etc harbour just a few minutes stroll park behind the hotel I can say no more than if you go to Aviles this is the hotel to stay in!!!! go and...

The Hotel is nicely situated in a fairly quiet residential area and next to a lovely grassy park adjoining the promenade/coastal path leading to the beach and main town. The Hotel does have its own car park for a charge, which is fairly typical, but even in late July when it was quite busy we were able to park for free on the road just across from the front of the Hote...

Pros: beautiful setting. (Even though uphill climb, most people come here to hike anyway). Great view of the mountains. Cons: somewhat small and cramped room with no real door to bathroom, so privacy lacking. (We had the bigger room)Also if anyone is staying above you it’s noisy, so you can hear everything again lack of privacy. Would recommend renting whole place if...

great email communication, very friendly at reception. parking was a breeze and our room was lovely. there is no air conditioning, but since it was september in the mountains, none was needed. breakfast was adequate but we did not try the dining room. it seemed a somewhat limited menu, but some other travelers we met enjoyed it quite a lot. lovely setting...

In an excellent location, 10 minutes walk from the coach and train station, 10 minutes walk from the historical old town. Room 103 was small, but suited the needs. Free wifi was one of the strongest/fastest I've experienced. Staff was enthusiastically helpful. Negative - they charged my credit card before arrival even tho I really wanted to pay by cash.

Very central location, next to train station (practically connected.) Everywhere is easy to walk to, fron hotel. Even has a great supermarket on the plaza level, next door! Room was comfortable, spacious & clean; w a great view overlooking the plaza. Staff was very nice & helpful. I parked my rental car there & it was so easy to take the elevator up, steps from ...

I stayed at this hotel while trying to complete the “Primitivo” route to Santiago de Compostela. I suffered a tendinitis, and eventually had to abandon my plan. I found this small hotel to be exceptionally friendly, welcoming and clean. It is in the heart of old Tineo, and there are many cafes and restaurants close by. The breakfast room and access to a microwave oven...

Don't except anything from this hotel, especially not a "mirador". You just face the mountain in an overall ugly building. The rooms are dirty, full of dead insects. Moreover, they are humid and there is mould on the walls. The food is good and the owner is nice. His wife on the other hand is just like the hotel, not worth the detour.

A nice little village is Corao on the way to Covadonga (venue of a famous war in the 8th century) and to the National Parc Picos de Europa. Rural hotel with best options: simple, but nice and functional locals, very rich breakfast including lots of homemade food. Charming owner with good knowledge for and about tourists.
Cheap places to stay in Asturias

Rooms were clean and fit for purpose but do not expect great things. Breakfast very minimal and certainly a budget option, on the plus side this hotel is very close to the start of a number of hiking trails including the gorge de cares and all the hotels in the vicinity of the start of the trail look to be of a similar standard. Suited us for what we needed at the time...

The hotel has a very good location near the bus station, and also close to a variety of restaurants just a few streets away. The staff who attended to our check-in is a very friendly and helpful guy who could speak basic English sentences. The room amenities are basic but sufficient for our stay, the shower facilities is very good. The room is cozy and comfortable, but...

The hotel is 5 mins from the bus terminal. Is in town centro very convenient with all the shops and cafe and restaurant.centro also connect to all the street shops.you can walk for hours and also the beschfront.HOTEL is very nice inside and outside, but no food service, but have coffee and snacks machines.Inside is nicely decorated, topend of 3*** hotel.

We stayed 2 nights here at the end of October, so quiet time of year. The room was clean and comfortable, nice wooden furniture. The restaurant downstairs was busy and looked good but being in the town we explored other bars and restaurants nearby. Only downside for some maybe the steps as some rooms are higher up in a terrace effect. The staff were very helpful and or...

The only downfall of this stay was that things were not exactly as advertised. The map on Agoda is incorrect, had to search on booking.com to find the location. There is no Wifi, as stated, and they only take cash (not advertised). As a side note the bar is only open for breakfast, maybe that's just because its winter. However it's a great deal for your money if you kn...

I can't fault this hotel, owned by a really friendly couple who make your stay. The location is. in my opinion the best part, situated on a quiet road but with very easy access to the whole of the Picos. The scenery is stunning and the nearby town a delight.

We came for 1 night on our motorbikes. The weather closed in and we were able to book a second night. Very good help from the owner. The hotel is very close to the centre and opposite a lovely park. Room compact but very clean and perfect for a short stay. Nice sitting area in reception. Fantastic café down the hill 200 yds too.

I was not given a key to my room on the first day. Every time I went out and returned to the hotel, I had to find a member of staff to open the door to my room. The electronic key I had controlled the lights only. Oddly, I was handed a key to the door of the room on the day of checkout. I paid on my arrival and in cash. All very odd. Also, the hotel does not have a pro...

There's not a negative word to be written about this place - great stay here. The gent who works at the front desk is a real pleasure to deal with. The location up the hill from the main part of town is excellent (use the tunnel behind the hotel to get to the car park VERY quickly). For the price, this place can't be beat, really. Close to restaurants, all the hikes in...

The hotel is ideally situated for travellers arriving by train and is close to shopping area and old quarter. There is plenty of choice to eat out nearby and the hotel has a reasonably priced restaurant. Due to an industrial dispute our onward train journey was cancelled. We returned to the Tryp Hotel and the very friendly and helpful reception staff consulted the Inte...

We were a little disappointed with the hotel considering the exceptional reviews. The building is beautful if not very imposing but the rooms are missing any character the modern decor just doesn't fit with the rest of the building. Strange large rooms with not much furnishings or furniture for their size. We found the place pretty creepy to be honest but that's very ...
