Beirut Governorate hotels & accommodations

I stayed there for first time for three nights during a business trip. This is a typical business hotel, it was perfect location and close to cafe and kornesh The hotel is fresh with very modern and easy-going decoration. Breakfast is good, and friendly staff. i have been given an upgrade to suite with sea view. also the hotel did not charge on changing the date ...

I said before I left the hotel that, luxurious can be found anywhere but friendly staff all the time is difficult to find and keep. Hassan was the first one to welcome us. We stayed 5 nights in the hotel and it was nice; staff are very helpful and great location. It is 5 minutes walk from the sea and 5 minutes walk to Alhamrah Street. The room is not too big but clean and have a nice view on the Mediterranean Sea. The breakfast is delicious.

I had to organize a last-minute overnight stay in Beirut and came across this hotel in my (very rushed) internet search. I was greeted upon arrival with a cup of tea while I was checking-in. Just a small gesture, but it was a was very appreciated after all the rushing and chaos of the day. Room service was fast and food portions were very generous. It was better tha...

we arrived to Beirut and wanted to change our hotel, we found availability in ramada, and after making the booking by 30 minutes we arrived to the hotel. the hotel was almost full and we requested 2 rooms near each other, the receptionist (Marwa) was very helpful and did her best to get us 2 ready rooms right away on the same floor. the staff in general was very helpfu...

Starting with cheking in (Mr. Samer) the manager of front desk took care personally of checking me in and giving me a free upgrade to buisness class room and get the best room with quite side of the hotel, the room was spacious and furniture was all updated, very comfortable bed and pillows and top class cleanness, everytime i left the room i came back to my room done ...

I stayed in GH for half a day before my flight, so I cannot say I know it well, especially its breakfast. Reading the "worst ever", "stay away", "never again" type of reviews after booking, I was expecting a disaster. It was totally different than such gloomy descriptions. Yes, it is definitely in need of refurbishing, but even so it offers decent facilities, far from ...

I was hesitant to book this hotel due to the reviews. Then I calculated the 83USD I paid would well be made up with 2 x 2 days of pool entry (I only stayed one night, so could use the pool the day I arrived and the day I departed) - pool entry is generally around 50USD per day for two. The pool has been newly renovated - except for the music being slightly too loud, ...

i’m very disappointed, this is my favorite hotel in beirut and i always book directly through them. i booked this stay through your app and choosed grand deluxe room with balcony, when i reached i was surprised that you booked me a standard room. but what is written in the confirmation is grand deluxe. they told me that this is completely your mistake booking me the wr...

Overall it was a pleasant stay. My room was touted by the Hotel Manager as the “best room in the hotel”. Though the room itself was small and extremely tired, (not unexpected), but the surprise was the bathroom. By contrast to the room, it was a new ‘extension’ and not only spectacular by comparison to the room, it accounted for almost half the floor space. Another...

1)The hotel is in the middle of Alhamra street which makes it great location .Lovely front office staff very helpful and understanding specially Miss Rawan and Mr.Fadi.they did their best to accommodate my needs. 2)Fast check in and out. 3) Great location for shopping and lots of restaurants and coffee shops around . 4)Rooms are big and well equipped with amenities. 5)...

Modern, conveniently located with edgy designer decor and very friendly, welcoming staff. The rooftop bar/restaurant afforded a wonderful views across the AUB Campus and the Mediterranean, though personally my experience was spoilt on both occasions I used it, but a smoker sitting near me. Unfortunately it’s something that frequently spoils dining and public spaces i...

the location is pretty good but the rooms need updating especially carpeting. they had just painted my room recently and the paint fumes were fairly overwhelming but they were painting everywhere so the paint smell was everywhere. the breakfast buffet was nice but not a traditional western style breakfast. nonetheless the olives and cheese varieties were very good. get...

At first I was pleasantly surprised to find the room was as pictured. Good size, high ceilings & though a minimum furnishing basics, it felt recently renovated. The staff I encountered, albeit slow to act upon requests, where pleasant. It was all ‘down-hill’ from there and EXTREMELY disappointing! When you opened the block-out curtains, you realised that at least 20...

In general it was okay, when we first checked in, I got a very small room while the bed was kind bed size, but it was so small, Hotel staff were very kind and very helpful and cooperative, and they offered upgrade to junior suite free of charge, junior suite is fine, but the toilet was also small too!, but anyway we took it since hotel was overbooked. if time pass 4:0...

Initially very dissappointed as we tried to go to the pool only to find it was closed for renovation. The pool was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel and the fact that it was closed was not communicated to us at all before we arrived! Bear in mind that the weather was perfect, mid 20's, blue skies and we had imagined laying on the roof relaxing, but that was ...

Overall, it was pleasent stay, yet two days before our check out, they started renovations. The Hotel management kindly moved us to thier sister hotel, the Habtoor Grand; which though generally more expensive and bigger, we still preferred the Hilton. Don't expect any amazing views from the hotel, apart from residentail areas a bit of sea view if you're up on higher f...

I stayed here twice during my 2 weeks travelling around Lebanon this October. This is a very nice little hotel, right in the heart of the Hamra district. Decent hotels in Beirut aren't cheap, but this was good value. I had an excellent room on 8th floor, very spacious and clean, great bathroom and the bed was superb. Staff were very friendly, and one night I ordered so...

I booked this hotel because of its location, I wasn't expecting much, but from the moment checked in until my check out, I was impressed with this hotel my room was great and I think same applies on all the rooms, customer service is very good, they don't provide breakfast but they are very keen to help u out and get u whatever food u like from near by shops it is l...

I booked a single room but they gave me upgraded Room which is really big👍 It’s easy to walk out to beach of beirut. Stay was perfect and comfortable to stay(and clean of course) with ocean view. For me, breakfast buffet was not enough to enjoy but still Highly recommend!!( + airport pick up service for free.)

We spent 3 nights here, and actually the over-the-top décor in the photos is more subdued in person, and it looks reasonably modern albeit in Louis XIV style. Breakfast is great with a range of European and Lebanese breakfast foods (missing fruits, though). Only complaint at all is that the AC unit, while it works fine, is old and very loud. However we had a good sta...

location is good, as it is located in Hamra and near to Airport- one can easily walk and reach Rouche area. The staff was very friendly and my overall rating of this hotel is very good. just one request, if you can add more items in breakfast and fresh fruits. Thank you

The staff was good and helpful, but mostly spoke broken English and full Arabic - so as a tourist it was difficult to design tours or travel places, or use a map to walk other than take taxis everywhere. I did hook up with drivers but they always tried to get more or take advantage of you for "longer time, expensive gas, etc." The hotel was OK and small but serviceab...

I made an online reservation and included upon payment that I need a room on a high floor and wanted a late check-out 3-4 PM What happened is that they gave me a room on the 2nd floor where the noise was unbearable, and the worst part is on my last day, the front desk lady stopped in the morning saying I have to leave at 1 PM max unless I want to extend my stay, later...

Beverly Hotel was a lovely little hotel close to the marina and however not an easy walking distance to the city. The staff were very friendly especially the 2 breakfast waiters. There is a small cocktail bar and a small restaurant. It is close to a few convenient stores, a money changer and some restaurants. It was just a little too noisy in the evenings as it is clos...

My friend and I stayed at Caramel before I left Lebanon and I loved everything about the hotel! I can’t rave enough about the decor and layout of the room. Super smart and sleek. The room was impeccably clean. Rooms were still being constructed when I stayed and there is a bit of noise from the bars on the street below but those didn’t bother me. The ice cream in the b...

The staff was a class of their own. They booked taxi, rented car, maintained free valet service and they cared for their customer's stay. Ms Nesrin, from the manager staff, got all customers get a good mood with her smile and her personal engagement. Best and most friendly hotel service I have experienced. The breakfast was really nice, Lebanese and continental with f...

The Regis Hotel was great for my first trip to Lebanon. The friendly, attentive staff could not have been nicer and made me feel right at home. In fact, the Regis was more like a guest house with a family atmosphere than just a hotel. I loved my stay so much I came back to the Regis again for several more days after visiting other parts of Lebanon. The Corniche is ...

Quite enjoyable especially since I was upgraded upon arrival. The suite was like an apartment. It was clean and it was conveniently located. The only downside is that there were no additional perks: no complimentary breakfast and no complimentary Internet. I did end up purchasing access to the Internet, but it wasn't the best. The breakfast was just okay. The ser...

The best thing about this apartment is it's location, 2 min away from El hamra street and 10 min from seafront. Staff is very helpful and welcoming, especially Khalil. The furniture is a bit old and kitchen material very limited. However, it wasn't much of a problem for us since we only slept there. Internet was spotty in the beginning, but the staff managed to arrange...

we went there to do some work, the hotel provided all the needed services, and was great to use time left for us to see the city, i would recommend this hotel to my friends for sure, tip to the hotel owner: please renew your rooms and hotel design, your hotel could be one of the best in beirut with some attention!

The hotel is within walking distance of the Corniche and being in Hamra, close to great shopping and restaurants. Staff were friendly and although I was booked into a single room, the hotel staff allowed me to remain in a twin room which I was staying in at the end of a tour. The room had a balcony which was a bonus.

The hotel worked fine for us. The staff at the reception was helpful, the rooms very small but clean. Best of all was the location: walking distance to most places, a safe area of town, even at night time. It would have been nice to have a pool like other hotels in the neighborhood have.

The view of adjacent valy and mountain gives a great feeling of ultimate pleasure. In two words, it was brief, calm and joyful. In fact this what I was seeking and I'm planing for another stay on the same hotel very soon. Even it was a breif stay, but definately the place is considered as one of the most ideal places where a couple can have warm privacy.(a perfect fami...

The staff at the Coral Suites Al Hamra Hotel couldn't have been nicer. The porters and reception staff were kind and very helpful and answered all my questions. The waiting staff in the Snug Restaurant always greeted you with a smile. The hotel throughout was clean. The rooms are really attractively decorated and spacious. There is a decent business centre with ...

- My stay was very pleasant at Saifi Suites. The rooms are designed in a very modern way and very clean. The location is Superb and close to beautiful Down Town Beirut. - If you are a Breakfast person and plan to stay for more than two days then you would be disappointed as the breakfast is very minimal and the same every day. The Front Desk staff are helpful but will...

we were a couple who stayed at the hotel. we were spending one night in beirut and the hotels were full, however this hotel offered a great value for money for a 4 star hotel. the brekfast buffet was rich and diverse, the room was clean and well furnished. the free wifi was of acceptable speed, the staff was friendly and helpful. so, all in all, the whole stay was plea...

This smaller hotel is located just a block uphill from the Corniche and Roauche area of Beirut. It is within walking distance of Hamra Street, the most fashionable in Beirut. I had a nice sea view from my balcony room. Breakfast was plentiful. I would stay again at Le Duroy!

I though the extra of this hotel is complimentary airport shuttle. But it is not stop right there. The staff away more professional well trained and friendly towards it guest. Im gonna say this hotel comfortness and room environment may same as Novotel. The room service and on site restaurant not bad at all. It offer varieties of food that came with good price. I wo...

It is still the best deal in Beirut, mix of Design location at a very fair price. But this time my booking got screwed up, they ve been booked out and they transferred me to a bad hotel. But I will come back since mistakes happen and the Hotel as such is the best deal in Beirut

In general this is a good hotel. The buffet breakfast is good with a wide selection but no bacon or pork sausages. However, there is ham available. The rooms are of a good standard quiet enough but the bathroom is a little on the small side, The location is about 20 mins walk from the main nightlife are and only 10 mins from the national museum. Very good. couple of things that bothered me and my guests; Parking and Internet. I could park my car for free, but it is a major inconvenience as there is no access to the hotel from the parking areas. Internet was also expensive, it should have been included in the rate, it is expected from a 5 stars hotel.

- Inspite of our request to give us apartment on higher floor, we were given apartment on 2nd floor. We came to know next day that Higher Floor Apartments were available, but, they reserved for special guests. - In Bathroom - while taking shower, the water was coming out of door of Shower Cabin and entire bathroom remain with water until next day Housek...

This is my second time to stay at the Le Bristol Hotel, I like the location, it's very close to one of the main street of Beyrouth which is Hamra, but still away from the noise and the trafic of Hamra, so one can get a good night sleep, I like the breakfast buffet, a good selection from Continental to Arabic breakfast.

The only point that I would like to raise here is the fact that the WiFi wasn't free at the room. It was free at the restaurant and near the reception area. I think this need to be reviewed as the room rate is not cheap at all. Residents are paying a lot and he expect to be be treated with global standards (WiFi is free at all 3 star hotels in Europe). Apart of that, ...

The hotel is 5 stars and I paid a lot of money for 6 nights but what I did not expect is the decorations of the rooms is very old and poor and on the 29 of December at night I ordered a Resturant from out side and when it arrived this guy from the reception called me and told me that I have to go down to get the Resturant and I did and when. I Went down he did not let ...

O Monot was wonderful! Close to restaurants, the waterfront, and amazing downtown shopping, it is a great value for the money and a true five star experience in Beirut. I particularly loved being welcomed after a long day of travel with a plate of macaroons !
