I stayed there for first time for three nights during a business trip. This is a typical business hotel, it was perfect location and close to cafe and kornesh The hotel is fresh with very modern and easy-going decoration. Breakfast is good, and friendly staff. i have been given an upgrade to suite with sea view. also the hotel did not charge on changing the date of the arrival and that make me to consider to book agine in the same hotel next time I visit Beirut. The only issue is the hotel charge on the internet in room. and its free in the lobby. i suggest to be free even in the room to get 10 mark.

I said before I left the hotel that, luxurious can be found anywhere but friendly staff all the time is difficult to find and keep. Hassan was the first one to welcome us. We were in the mood of talking and he was interactive, smiling , friendly, and very helpful. Although there was a customer waiting for us but he did not hurry us up or distracted. He was fully focusing with us until we are done. The house keeping Nevein, from her first moment entering the room she was keen to make us feel home, with a smile and genuine feelings of care. These employees are treasure to any business. Keep them and dont let them go. Thank you

I had to organize a last-minute overnight stay in Beirut and came across this hotel in my (very rushed) internet search. I was greeted upon arrival with a cup of tea while I was checking-in. Just a small gesture, but it was a was very appreciated after all the rushing and chaos of the day. Room service was fast and food portions were very generous. It was better than fancy... it was homely... :-) The staff were really friendly at the hotel, responding quickly to all requests and eager to help. I was even very graciously granted a late checkout by management to accommodate my schedule for the day (had a very important and long appointment and was not able to get back to the hotel until after 3 pm). The only thing about the hotel is that it is a little difficult to locate, but if you tell the taxi driver it is around the corner from the Commodore hotel it should work... I had a great stay... thanks to Mohammad and Bilal and the team! Definitely recommend this hotel!

we arrived to Beirut and wanted to change our hotel, we found availability in ramada, and after making the booking by 30 minutes we arrived to the hotel. the hotel was almost full and we requested 2 rooms near each other, the receptionist (Marwa) was very helpful and did her best to get us 2 ready rooms right away on the same floor. the staff in general was very helpful and always smiling. they also extended our rooms for late check out as our flight was late at night. the hotel is located within a walking distance to many restaurants, cafes and the shopping area. it is a business hotel with not much facilities but you really do not need it as you can do many things around on your foot.

Starting with cheking in (Mr. Samer) the manager of front desk took care personally of checking me in and giving me a free upgrade to buisness class room and get the best room with quite side of the hotel, the room was spacious and furniture was all updated, very comfortable bed and pillows and top class cleanness, everytime i left the room i came back to my room done and couple bottles of water left inside.. and a a chamomile tea bag everynight to help get better sleep.. there is a complementary espresso machine with varaty of capsules and a full mini bar (this will be extra cost). Check out was ouple minutes and very smooth.. they helped me carry my bags to the taxi. The hotel is in very safe area and few minutes walk to Zaituny bay and food and cafes near by. I highly recommend this hotel and really enjoyed my stay there.

I stayed in GH for half a day before my flight, so I cannot say I know it well, especially its breakfast. Reading the "worst ever", "stay away", "never again" type of reviews after booking, I was expecting a disaster. It was totally different than such gloomy descriptions. Yes, it is definitely in need of refurbishing, but even so it offers decent facilities, far from the negative publicity. The room was spacious -double in size from my previous hotel in Jounieh at double price than GH. Clean beds with comfortable mattress, normal bathroom (with aging but functioning taps), no smells like those in some reviews, old but functioning furniture, no signs of dirt. For our short staying it was perfect. I think that all those negative reviews are exaggerations rather than objective facts. I would not hesitate to have a longer stay and explore it better...

I was hesitant to book this hotel due to the reviews. Then I calculated the 83USD I paid would well be made up with 2 x 2 days of pool entry (I only stayed one night, so could use the pool the day I arrived and the day I departed) - pool entry is generally around 50USD per day for two. The pool has been newly renovated - except for the music being slightly too loud, it is a beautiful pool, the staff are really happy, friendly and sociable (I find other pools the staff rude)... As for the hotel room, I didn't expect much - but I was pleasantly surprised. There were some cookies upon our arrival in the room, the bed was soooo comfortable, the room was really nice (maybe touch small but very nicely decorated and renovated)... I would definitely stay here again and definitely recommend this hotel (as long as the price is good - probably wouldn't pay over 120USD per night though....

i’m very disappointed, this is my favorite hotel in beirut and i always book directly through them. i booked this stay through your app and choosed grand deluxe room with balcony, when i reached i was surprised that you booked me a standard room. but what is written in the confirmation is grand deluxe. they told me that this is completely your mistake booking me the wrong room and they refused to give me the the room that i wanted because it’s not their mistake.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. My room was touted by the Hotel Manager as the “best room in the hotel”. Though the room itself was small and extremely tired, (not unexpected), but the surprise was the bathroom. By contrast to the room, it was a new ‘extension’ and not only spectacular by comparison to the room, it accounted for almost half the floor space. Another surprise was the balcony, which ran the full length of the room & new bathroom and came furnished with a basic, yet comfortable table and 4 chairs. I put this to good use inviting a couple of mates over for a late night beer. I’d stay there again

1)The hotel is in the middle of Alhamra street which makes it great location .Lovely front office staff very helpful and understanding specially Miss Rawan and Mr.Fadi.they did their best to accommodate my needs. 2)Fast check in and out. 3) Great location for shopping and lots of restaurants and coffee shops around . 4)Rooms are big and well equipped with amenities. 5) sound proofing is weak ,can hear activities from next room. 6) Generally it was lovely stay and it's recommended Hotel.

Modern, conveniently located with edgy designer decor and very friendly, welcoming staff. The rooftop bar/restaurant afforded a wonderful views across the AUB Campus and the Mediterranean, though personally my experience was spoilt on both occasions I used it, but a smoker sitting near me. Unfortunately it’s something that frequently spoils dining and public spaces in Lebanon. My room was great. Airy, bright, modern and ultra clean, it was in keeping with every area of this great boutique hotel. The breakfast was awesome, as was each meal I tried in the hotel. The only slight let down was the neat little gym. The equipment was extremely ‘cheap’ and I gave up using the multi-exercise station, as I thought it could snap and collapse at any moment. Better to just have some free weights rather than risk life & limb with cheap equipment. But who am I kidding, I was not there to exercise, though I would stay there again in a flash, if they had a pool. Hmmmm.... Maybe scrap the gym and pop a spa/hot tub in its place 😜 I’d never stay anywhere else in Hamra if they did. Lol

the location is pretty good but the rooms need updating especially carpeting. they had just painted my room recently and the paint fumes were fairly overwhelming but they were painting everywhere so the paint smell was everywhere. the breakfast buffet was nice but not a traditional western style breakfast. nonetheless the olives and cheese varieties were very good. get to breakfast about 8am or it wont be fully set up and your choices are limited before then. the staff is helpful and all speak and understand good english. the internet is very slow and not free so its better to seek wifi outside at starbucks or other coffee houses of course they aren't free either.

At first I was pleasantly surprised to find the room was as pictured. Good size, high ceilings & though a minimum furnishing basics, it felt recently renovated. The staff I encountered, albeit slow to act upon requests, where pleasant. It was all ‘down-hill’ from there and EXTREMELY disappointing! When you opened the block-out curtains, you realised that at least 20 hotel rooms, less than 10m across the narrow street, all looked directly into your room. So you may as well have had no window! Even a sheer curtain may have allowed for some natural light & privacy, but the only option was to either stay on semi darkness or turn on the over-kill bank of bright-white ceiling lights. At first I thought, “ it’s not important, I want to spend my time at the rooftop pool & bar”. This was the #1 reason I picked the hotel for my holiday and the #1 reason I would NEVER recommend this establishment to anyone... except backpackers!! I was HORRIFIED to find that the pool and the entire rooftop “lounge and bar” was open to the public and on all 3 attempts to use the pool during my stay, I left, feeling upset after having to pick my way through make-shift camps of raucous students (the hotel is surrounded by Universities) & screaming local children, and having no luck even finding space to lay my towel on the floor, because there was certainly no chance of finding a seat, let alone a sun-lounge. There was absolutely no restriction on the number of people and it was completely over-packed. This same approach was adopted everywhere else in the building. I never attempted the bar or restaurant, as the noise coming from it, carried up the lift wells and sounded like a football match! To add ‘insult in injury’ once I did settle into my ‘Delux King Room’ room, it became immediate apparent that I would be privy to every word coming from through the paper-thin connecting doors from the next room. And I did all night! Basically my ‘personal get-away’ (while visiting relatives) felt

In general it was okay, when we first checked in, I got a very small room while the bed was kind bed size, but it was so small, Hotel staff were very kind and very helpful and cooperative, and they offered upgrade to junior suite free of charge, junior suite is fine, but the toilet was also small too!, but anyway we took it since hotel was overbooked. if time pass 4:00PM and you were in your room then don't expect it would be cleaned since after 4 there will be no one to clean it. for breakfast even if it was included in your room charge, you are not allowed to take anything from it to your room, or to ask them to take it to your room and if you ask for it youll get charged twice! in breakfast open buffet there is a remark that each person is allowed to have only one bottle of water!!. four stars Hotel usually give water, coffee, tea complimentary in your room, but this hotel even its four stars it doesn't have it. even with the comments I mentioned it is still great value Hotel, and you take more than you pay, and reception are extremely kind and helpful.

Initially very dissappointed as we tried to go to the pool only to find it was closed for renovation. The pool was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel and the fact that it was closed was not communicated to us at all before we arrived! Bear in mind that the weather was perfect, mid 20's, blue skies and we had imagined laying on the roof relaxing, but that was not to be. The hotel eventually agreed to pay for our access to another pool in the Radisson nearby (albeit indoor), but we had to argue a little too hard for it, they should be more prepared and put a notice on their website that the pool and roof bar are not open. Anyway, with that aside the rest of our stay was pleasant - despite being close to a fairly busy road, our room was quiet and had marina views. The marina is brand new and only a 2 minute walk from the hotel, with over 20 bars and restaurants makes it very easy to go out for a nice meal or drinks. We also explored downtown and hamra on foot from the hotel, each about 15 minutes walk away. Breakfast was OK, but exactly the same each day which was dissappointing and only a very small selection of hot items. The only other issue we had was having to pay for valet parking. It seemed very odd that a hotel would charge it's guests to park there! The concierge was the friendliest person in the hotel and very very useful and easy to talk to - one of the best we've come across! Overall the location and comfort of the rooms just about made up for the problems we had.

Overall, it was pleasent stay, yet two days before our check out, they started renovations. The Hotel management kindly moved us to thier sister hotel, the Habtoor Grand; which though generally more expensive and bigger, we still preferred the Hilton. Don't expect any amazing views from the hotel, apart from residentail areas a bit of sea view if you're up on higher floors. If you're looking for a place outside of central Beirut, this hotel is highly recommended.

I stayed here twice during my 2 weeks travelling around Lebanon this October. This is a very nice little hotel, right in the heart of the Hamra district. Decent hotels in Beirut aren't cheap, but this was good value. I had an excellent room on 8th floor, very spacious and clean, great bathroom and the bed was superb. Staff were very friendly, and one night I ordered some room service food which was surprisingly good. The hotel also has its own parking which is very convenient if you're crazy like me and drive in the city. Location is great, It's a noisy part of town, so would recommend a room as high as you can get, but location does mean there are plenty of good restaurants and bars close by....right in the middle of Hamra, you're spoiled for choice. Excellent hotel and definitely recommended.

I booked this hotel because of its location, I wasn't expecting much, but from the moment checked in until my check out, I was impressed with this hotel my room was great and I think same applies on all the rooms, customer service is very good, they don't provide breakfast but they are very keen to help u out and get u whatever food u like from near by shops it is located in hamra main street which saved me a lot of transport, all what u need is withing walking distance , few meters and u are infront of the main shops and offices in beirut I was here for a business visit and it was really great do I highly recommend this hotel? yes I do it is not a d starts hotel, but price is not high, but the value for money is there, surely there they cleaned my room every single day even without asking I sincerely thank every person in the hotel, a great team indeed I'll be back beirut in July, and for the first time I don't need to hassle myself and look for an alternative place, because I know for sure that Loft 29 is the place for me. a gem, a real gem in the middle of the city centre keep it up guy and tq so much

We spent 3 nights here, and actually the over-the-top décor in the photos is more subdued in person, and it looks reasonably modern albeit in Louis XIV style. Breakfast is great with a range of European and Lebanese breakfast foods (missing fruits, though). Only complaint at all is that the AC unit, while it works fine, is old and very loud. However we had a good stay, the price to quality ratio is nice and I’d certainly recommend the hotel.
