Traveling to Uzbekistan? Find Bukhoro Province hotels

We stayed during the low season at this hotel. (Uzbekistan doesn't seem to get a lot of tourists in the winter.) The staff was really helpful with advice, and the room was comfortable and warm - good shower, again, with great pressure (this is not something that is found everywhere with the plumbing constraints in some of the guesthouses). Room was big and clean, breakfast was quick as was our laundry. This hotel is situated very near to most of the sites of Old Bukhara that you will want to see and also quite nice to some local residential areas that have good restaurants outside of the touristy areas (i.e. Chinar). The dining room is very atmospheric. This is a well-run place.

The proprietor Mr. Ali Jaan is a darling of a person. It is a family run business and is located near Lyab i-Hauz, 1 min walking distance. The rooms are spacious with fairly wide Single bed (My room was single bed). Very nice breakfast. All members of this hotels are super duper friendly. The owner did not even wanted to take money for 2 water bottles, when he came to i was having a fever that time. There are around 9 rooms i guess, There is a central lawn with tables where you can enjoy your food or just relax and read a book.. I highly recommend this Hotel. They take extreme care of their guests.

Very very very kind family:Dad,Mom and a girl. Good cost performance.Near bus stop of mini bus. Not many restaurants around here so if we need dinner/lunch, we may ask them to make them. Good interior in the hotel. They cant speak English well,so it's better that there are information of English in each rooms.We can ask them to call a tour guide who can speak English($25). Break fast was also good. Like Crepe Mom made was so tasty. I wanted to ask her the recipe if she can speak English(as possible). If I visit Bukhara again,I wanna stay this hotel again.

It's a family-run hotel. The staff are very forthcoming and place your comfort at the highest priority. On hindsight, i think i have made quite a lot of request but the staff still fulfilled every one of them with a smile on their face. The staff also embody Uzbek's value of being hospitable. I definitely recommend this place if you are low on budget, looking for a hotel with good location, and warm service.

It was a very pleasant experience. I arrived early morning since I took the night train. The room was ready and the owner let me check-in. They also let me swap my breakfast day as I’m leaving early the following day and the breakfast was great! Excellent location, just behind the Nodir Devon Begi Madrassah. The room is nice, bed is comfortable, bathroom is clean. The family is very hospitable and helpful. This place has my recommendation 👍

I stayed at Rumi hostel for one night. what impressed me would be the hospitality of the staff there. At the time I booked only one night stayed at Bukhara and needed to catch an overnight train to Tashkent on the next day at midnight. They allowed me to stay there for a couple of hours after check-out, using the internet and facilities such as toilet and bathroom. I was feeling a little sick on that day, they let me laying down to have a nap on the sofa. The staff even covered a blanket for me, it was really impressive by their warm service and considerate staff . Until midnight, they also called a taxi for me in advance which was beyond my request.I would 100% recommend tourists to stay at this hostel .

Pros: ticked all on my list of essential criteria for a solo female traveller: clean, safe, super friendly/helpful staff, right in the heart of the old town! And at approx £20pn including breakfast and free wifi, it was a real bargain! Cons: I was assigned the ground floor room, which was a triple single bedroom, which even though was nice to spread out and I don’t consider myself a large person (at 5ft 2), I found the single beds are narrower than standard single beds in the UK and if I rolled over fully, I’d fall out! It was also noisy being on the ground floor as I was right next to the reception desk, but was fine after midnight after everyone checked in. The area around the hotel is also undergoing major building works, so if you’re looking for magnificent views on their promising cosy open air rooftop, it’s a tad disappointing! No fridge in the room as advertised. No complimentary water in the room, which for a 3star in a country where you can’t drink the tap water is unusual.

Too bad we only stayed one night here, as the rest of the time they are fully booked. It is a lovely hotel with different decor in each room. I really love my blue room. It is really comfortable after a long journey. The clean spacious bathroom and hot shower also helps a lot. The managers of this hotel can speak english well, so they can understand your needs. They are also very helpful and welcoming. This hotel also have good breakfast that is served in the courtyard. It is only 5 mins slow walk to the lyabi pool

I felt right at home in this guesthouse. I was the only one staying there the first night, so it was quiet, but it was comfortable and secure. I like that the fire was going to keep the shower room toasty every evening, and it was well-heated. I had a delicious meal of plov with the family my first afternoon, and breakfasts were generous, fresh, and tasty. The Ulugbek medressa and covered bazaars are just around the corner, so it's an easy base to walk from and return to during the day to drop things off. Sanjar's super helpful and patient, and he's got an interesting life story and has been working really hard. The only thing that could make it nicer is a heated lounge room to hang out in, besides a bedroom. And if there were other guests in the dorm room, it would be nice to have individual bedside lights rather than just one overhead light.

The room is very clean and beautifully decorated. The staffs are friendly. Since the hotel is small and does not have many guests, it is peaceful and the hotel staffs can remember and make customization to our preferences. The location is also great, which is a few minutes walk from the main attraction. Our suggestion for improvement is that the hotel sign is ืnot very eye-catching and difficult to see.

I normally prefer more standard hotels, but I decided to give this place a chance and am so glad I did! The room, while basic, was clean and comfortable, the AC worked perfectly, and most importantly the courtyard and dining room were like stepping back in time. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the Internet was surprisingly good, and the location was just a short walk to the main square of the old town, but set back in a little neighborhood and much quieter than the main tourist crawl.

This is a perfect small cosy hotel which is less than 5 minutes to the Po-i-kalyan ensemble. It's really in a great location easy to get to all other sights. We were attended to all the time and they were so helpful. Breakfast was amazing. They served a range of things to you personally which were delicious. The rooms are clean and cosy, however our bathroom had very bad sewage smell. One recommendation is to provide all guests with 2 pillows. It's a bit hard to sleep with only one.
