Traveling to Slovenia? Find Coastal - Karst hotels

We had a great time there, staying at a standard room, with a rather big balcony, overlooking the sea. The staff was very kind, food and drinks were good and all came at reasonable prices. There are also 4 different kinds of pools, ranging in size and depth, available from toddlers to good swimmers, well equipped with sunbeds.

The hotel was fine, staff was not really friendly, didn't realize there was a casino, loud banging all through the night. Would be a nice place in the warmer months to see horse show.

The hotel is in the center, next to the main square and also next to the see coast. Good place for hollyday.

The location is a really nice part of the seaside. The hotel is a tipical 19th century mansion that has a really good vibe to it. It is in the center of Portorož, even Venice is not too far to visit. The breakfast is absolutely great! I'm planning to go back, taking our kids as well, as the hotel is quite children friendly.

The stay was excellent. The receptionist helped us in so many ways: we wanted to leave a day early to catch a boat trip and he arranged that with no problems. There was no parking left for my car and he arranged a special parking for us. And they also provided us with a lunch "take-away" on the last day when we left before the breakfast. Amazing location and view. Had a third floor room overlooking the square. Simply beautiful - although I occasionally (normally in the morning) wanted to find a mute button for the church's clock-tower bells. Very helpful and friendly host. The apartment is spacious and well equipped. However, need to check in and check out and store luggage at host office on the other side of city center. Felt quite inconvenient, as I'm used to stay in hotels, not used to this kind of apartment arrangement and procedures.

The staff was really welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the new service of a wonderful bio breakfast (such a good energizer for the day!) on the secret garden terrace. The rooms are small, but really stylish and clean! The location is perfect to explore the surroundings, the old town and the sea. We really enjoyed the stay!

The apartment has great panoramic view. You can park your car on the premise. Friendly owner. Though It is not located right in the city center so you have to walk some way to the city center tartini square etc. You can drive your car to the city but you cannot park your car there legally

it is a very nice hotel in the center of Piran, a little bit difficult to find if you follow the hotel signs, it was difficzlt to find a parking around the Hotel, as 99% are ocupied by local cars - residents - sure not guests, even the community sign says different; restaurants are in walking distance; take ana entrance key as reception close at 10 pm;

Good location but Piran is very small so I think almost acommodation is good about location. No lift and the steps are very narrow.. but just second floor. You could hear everything from the upper flat but it's not just problem of this apartment... others too.

We just arrived in the evening and stayed one night and left in the morning, It was not easy to find because ther is no big sign showing the hotel, we met the owner of the place for aboutr a minute, he gave us the roomkey and left, no more explanations how to go somewhere. We had a good time in this lovely hostel. The employment / owner was very kind helpful effective and had a good humour :-) It is highly recommended to visit this local. Max. score for them!!!

Close to the cave and one of best restaurant through our 1 month journey the Porky!!

Great location and nice and cheap. Friendly staff and the rooms was fine, limited breakfast was the only drawback in my eyes.

The hotel is overall quite nice. However a renovation is definitely needed to justify the price that the hotel is charging for the rooms. The amenities were quite poor, the breakfast selection was appalling. However, the secluded hotel beach was a definite plus, compared to the other hotels on the strip GHB definitely has the best beach. So if you don't mind overpaying...

Spent 4 days. There was no clear explanation where is reception nor anybody for helping us. So we asked people around and finally met a guest of the hotel to help us.

this was our first time in hotel kempinsky in portorose. its very nice hotel with all services. wery good location on the beach in city center. they have nice spa center with many masages and other posibilitys. big swimming pool and great offer of drink and food. i come back with my girlfriend next year and i will enjoy in this ambient.

We were slightly deceived by the pictures on how the hotel looked. We booked a 'double' bed but it was just two single put together and didn't stay together. However, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was average but the menu food was delicious and of good standard. Good selection of wine too.

I enjoyed comfortable stay, that good staffs and clean facilities. And more, the room was very silent, so I could sleep well. You can arrive on your foot from Koper station in 10 minutes. There are some big stores near by the hotel, so I dod not feel any inconvinience.

good service, good value price, worse to stay

Allthough it needs a little renovation...but than again the price wouldn't be same...we enjoyed it...for one night after beach and biking.tired Nice for this price. Maybe missed a kids playground.

Few minutes after booking. We got call from staff and got directions and help. Was rather easy to find the reception in this small town maze. Piran is problem if you are travelling with car but we did manage without parking tickets. If i go to Piran, will stay again.

Motel Port is located within walking distance to the old town; it is a students apartment building but rooms are very spacious and clean. The building is also located right next to the very busy port so its not super quiet area but its still manageable. You can rent cooking utensils which is very helpful if you are on budget. Wifi was provided but only for smartphones ...

very minimal, not toilet roll, no wifi , desktop computer internet is so slow... according to staff they cant install wifi because wall too thick which is kinda ridiculous

Very nice, we have enjoyed every single moment at the hotel. The builiding is located in a great place above the harbour of Portorož. Quiet and peaceful, on the other hand only 5 mins. from the town centre. The staff was very helpful and kind as well, which you do not see everywhere. Would love to visit again.

I've spent several days at this place, and from the first minute felt very welcome. Silvia is a very dedicated host who makes you feel at home. The rooms (I've seen three) are very clean and nicely equipped. The ability to basically take a bike and get going was an unexpected bonus, and the chocolate candy have saved me more than once ;-) Breakfasts were a pleasure a...

Our stay was very good. Friendly staff, good location and nice sea view. A little bit old building, but has its own advantages too. Close to all the attractions and beach, as well as middle point between Piran and Portoroz. Good for bicycling.
