i had a great time at green bamboo plaza hotel. the room was very biy, tidy and clean. the hotel is situated in the center, very near food streets, so it would be very convenient for your travelling. if you are in pleiku, visiting the sea lake is a must. the best time to visit is in late afternoon, before the sunset as the scenery and light would be spectacular. grilled lang fish is also a special dish here, so eat it if you have the chance. also try street foods (e.g. grilled birds, noodles...)

The hotel just has been renovated recently, so everything looks new. Pro: good location (close to food night market, bus terminal, temples, restaurants), firm beds, very helpful and courteous staff, good price through Agoda. Will refer the hotel to others and will stay here again when visiting the area again in the future. Con: Wi-Fi on and off, even the equipment is connected to the internet, but it sometimes cannot go online. Shower should have a curtain to prevent to wet the whole bathroom, which causes the danger of fall due to slippery and wet the pants. It's not difficult to build a frame around the shower and to hang a plastic curtain around it.

The hotel is in the tallest building in Pleiku and has recently been opened. However only about 4 floors are open and then some features are missing. I had 3 rooms in my first day. Arriving on the 7th floor it was obvious the painting had not be finished in the foyer. There is an air of unfinished decor on the upper floors. Perhaps the hotel has opened too soon as much of the upper storeys 9-20 were unlit and unoccupied In the room there was a large space in the bench which I assumed was for a 3 or 4 burner gas benchtop. The lounge furniture was basic wooden outdoor furniture. The second room, on the 6th floor, was better having been finished, but they decided to shaift me back to the 7th floor as the wifi wasn't set up on the 6th. The third room was a family suite I think as there were 3 locked doors within the apartment. The main bedroom was fine with an en-suite bathroom. The bedroom had the only air con in the unit. There was no heating/cooling in the main lounge room which may be an issue in the hot season in coming months. Furnishings were new and adequate. As stated by an other reviewer there is no breakfast included, but local eateries are plentiful. There is a coffee shop on the ground floor. Reception staff were very helpful with one lady speaking very good English. For the Agoda special rate, the accommodation was inexpensive and appropriate. I would check the rooms and rack rate before booking in ad there are several other hotels in town if you are looking for more than a basic hotel (I paid about $20/n)

We are a medical group coming to the area caring for the lepers. Had to find the lowest room rate to spare the money for the mission. We booked 3 rooms at the lowest price. Were sent to 5th floor with some room afflicted by sewer stench. We objected, were sent to 7th floor: wow!!! what a view, what large rooms we had with clean, fresh air blowing through window. We saw beautiful mountain ranges glittering under the sun set rays - breath taking! The beds and linens were also fresh, rooms were made daily with towels folded into swans. We felt like we were in a cruise ship. Laundry was dirt cheap at 50 cents per set of clothes (top + pants), under wears and socks were free. We ate twice daily at the restaurant as it opened between 6 AM until 10PM to accommodate our hectic schedule. Foods were delicious and at very reasonable price. Facility was clean, no trash, no smell and restaurant toilet was spotless. The staff was uniformly courteous, pleasant and very efficient. We met the owner, Dung, who like her staff, was affable and friendly. The staff at all work shifts treated us with respect and smiles. We felt like we were in a big family and knew all of them well. Spent a few days here in transit through the highlands. Rented a bungalow and it was tucked away off the main street in a whimsical, well lit, enclave. I don't think there is much to do in the area, but we were content to take a few days out of the madness. Beds were firm, and came with a mosquito net. Air Con worked well and there were fans. the patio of the bungalow was a nice addition and a good seating area to just chill out. Staff don't speak English, so if you are in need of tickets to get out of town you will have to book them yourself. We got a cab to the bus station and basically got on the first van we saw. Lucky it went to our destination, because we would have no way to communicate otherwise. Travelling Life.

Plei Ku is a city with NO tourist. NO ONE speaks english (even in the hotel), EVERYONE is starring you. There are no restaurants for European people, nothing to see, the city is ugly. We went there to see the lake: it was ok but nothing exceptionnal. The hotel is direct in a street with a lot of noises and you can't close the windows. The cleaning lady come at 7:30 AM!! The breakfast is 2 eggs with bread (very poor). And you can't rent motorbikes in this city, they don't know the tourism.
