Brand New Hotel, Superb location right at the center of the Tanukikoji Shopping Street. no worry about food as plenty of restaurant and convenient store around. if you opt for ECO (without bed arranging and bedsheet replacement daily, free coin for drinks such as Hokkaido milk, soft drink etc. Parking is easy and guided by friendly staff. Cant really complaint and the hotel provided all needed for a good night stay.

The hotel is located close to Nakajima park subway station, only a few minutes walk from there. It's in the walking distance to Susukino district to hang-out or have a meal since there are numerous restaurants there. The hotel room is in the Japan standard, compact but have all things you need. There is a variety of amenities including special beauty products like bath powder, beauty masks. Also, there is the facial massage machine to borrow from the lobby! One important thing to note is the breakfast. There is a HUGE range of breakfast that I've ever seen. You can try various traditional Hokkaido products here such as rice, curry soup, sashimi bowl, melon, and others. I'm really impressed sashimi bowl which you can have unlimite salmon roes, pawns, hotate, and squid as you want. The bakery is also good! There is freshly made from the oven. Don't forget to try the French-Toast! Really great with the fresh cream and the berry jam.

New hotel that opened not long ago, close to Sapporo Station. Was in Sapporo to attend a conference for 2 days, only managed to booked a twin, smoking room. Check in was a breeze and the reception staff were extrememly helpful and patient. Just beside the reception area and opposite the elevators is an area that allows you to choose your preferred pillows. The room was large and clean, and the beds were well-made and comfortable. The air purifier in the room helped with humidifying the air and removing most of the smell of cigarettes (as I do not smoke). There is a small space with a couple of hangers for your clothes just opposite the toilet and bathroom. There is no bathtub in the room, just a shower space that was well-kept and cleaned daily. There is however, a communal bath in the hotel and the staff will inform you about the location during check in. Shampoo, hair-conditioner and body soap is provided. The sink is outside the toilet in the room, with hand soap, toothbrushes provided. Towels were changed daily. A hot water kettle was also available should you require it. A mini-fridge was also present in the room, tucked away in a cabinet. The mini-sofa and coffee table in the room allowed me to work on my PC, although the low height of the table made it somewhat uncomfortable. Those who need hair-dryers would be happy to know that one was provided for in the room. There is a convenience stall located just opposite the road should you need anything, and breakfast can be had at the Yayoi restuarant on the first-floor of the hotel. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the hotel and it's location and would recommend it for business travellers and visitors to Hokkaido.

We were on a 3 weeks holiday through Japan (Osaka, Kyoto, Hakone, Tokyo & Hokkaido). This was the best hotel we stayed in. Location is excellent. We came from New Chitose Airport by direct train (no transfers required, which is important if you have kids with you) and got off at JR Sapporo Station. The hotel is connected to JR Sapporo Station via the underground mall. So in winter (we stayed there on 1 to 3 Dec 2017), you wouldn't be exposed to the cold from the airport all the way to the hotel. The hotel is about a 5 to 10 mins underground walk from the JR Station. One major draw of Sapporo is the winter illumination. That was 5 mins walk through the underground from the hotel. So again, excellent location! The major shopping and nightlift area of Susukino is also connected through the underground walkways. We booked a triple room with breakfast. The breakfast was amazing! Food was good and service was great! Just an example, they served 2 types of fresh milk. One was an organic fresh milk and another was a local Hokkaido fresh milk. Another example was that the pancakes and waffles station had whipped cream, cream cheese, maple syrup and 6 different types of honey to go with the pancakes and waffles. A first time ever I've experienced such detail at just one station. The soft boiled eggs station had a little rock placed there with a sign that said "stone for cracking egg". It was a little humorous but yet another little sign of attention to detail. We stayed 2 nights and I was looking forward to the next day's breakfast. There are just so many things I could say about this hotel that totally made it a very memorable stay. This is the hotel I would stay in over and over if I were in Sapporo again.

I was surprised and very delighted by the spacious and clean room. It had a full sized bathtub and a cozy corner to have morning coffee. This was seriously the best and affordable hotel I have ever stayed in Japan! Front desk was also very helpful and patient with my questions. Very glad to have booked this hotel as my last stop for my 2 week vacation in Hokkaido. Looking forward to stay at Daiwa Roynet again. Till then!

This is undoubtedly the best hotel in all the 5 we have in Hokkaido. It's new and looks more like a boutique hotel. Free coffee is available in the lounge on 5th floor which is the lobby area of the hotel. The hotel is above the shopping malls. Just follow the signage provided in the JR Asahikawa station and in the malls. They also allow you to choose the right pillow based on your neck. It's just next to the reception. There are laundry rooms for washing your clothes and an onsen. Did not try the onsen so can't comment much. bathroom was huge by hokkaido standard (largest on our trip) and the bathtub was deep with timer to ensure they don't overfill. Best bathroom really among the hotels we had. The rooms are clean and for the triple it was abit squeezy but still manageable even with 2 luggages. Room comes with air cleaner/humidier, robes, slippers and fabric spray. Location is fantastic with the shopping belt just across the street and bus station train station next door.

I took a bus from the Chitose airport and arrived right at the doorstep of the hotel. The room is clean and comfortable. I walked to the Sapporo train station which allowed me to take trains to explore other intersting part of Hokkaido (day trip). Towards the south of the hotel, there is an area where you find delicious Hakkaido seafood which I have not seen in other parts of Japan.

Great location! Sapporo station is actually just across the street. But since the station is so big, it will take about 5 mins walk. There's an underground pass from Sapporo station to the hotel. However, we were not able to use it because we were there during the "golden week" (5 days holiday) and the passage is closed during Sundays and holidays. If you have heavy or lots of luggage, better to just go out the station and cross the street to avoid the flight of stairs from the underground pass. From JR Sapporo station, take the west exit. Then go out the south exit, turn right then you'll see the hotel in front of you... There's Family Mart at the ground floor which also has passage to the hotel. About 5 mins walk to former Hokkaido Govt office. 10 mins walk to clock tower. 12 mins walk to Odori Park. And 15 mins walk to TV tower... Room, toilet, and bathroom are big enough unlike usual hotels in Tokyo.. Breakfast buffet is superb! Lot's of choices and awarded by TripAdvisor.

Room was small but efficiently designed. Even had a small fridge. Our room a view of the park. Was a smoking room that we booked because it was one only one available, we don’t smoke. Was a little worried but could not smell any smoke ever. Really glad we booked it. We stayed for the snow festival and it was a great location. We could watch some of the shows from out window. And while You could hear the noise it wasn’t too bad. The staff was excellent and always helpful. A few things to know: Bed was very firm but comfortable. Room had a hot water maker provided. Breakfast included lacked western food. There was toast with strawberry jam and pineapple and orange slices. The scrambled eggs were not made in the western way, I have picky eaters so others may not have any issues. There was rice and soba at breakfast so if your child eats white rice (and mine do not) that is also an option. Hotel was not close to western food. So we walked quite a bit to get food the kids liked.

Room is spacious compared to other hotel. Clean just like any Japan hotel. Breakfast is ok with a mix of Western and Japanese style. I would prefer breakfast selection from more established 5-star hotel chain such as Hyatt, Starwood, etc. As I was there for summer, the attractions were on flower, thus, the location is not near to tourist spot. For instance drive to Tomita farm will be roughly ~12km or so. A plus on the hotel are their own garden part of the Hokkaido Garden Path and Ningle Terrace + “Forest Clock” Café.

We booked JR express train tickets for New Chitose Airport for the next morning for our departure from Hokkaido and needed an overnight accommodation after riding local train in from western Hokkaido. Hotel is across street from train station, so very convenient We spent a pleasant evening exploring Otaru. Information desk at train station gave us some good pointers on where to eat. . Dormy offered free ice cream in the afternoon and ramen later. Room was well thought out and provided amenities we needed.

(1) This is our first time skiing, so i particularly chose to have ski-in ski-out hotel which make my life much more easier. We don't need to spend time travelling from hotel to the skiing spots. And when you feel tired or too cold, you can also return to hotel or even your rooms easily. Restaurants in Hilton are quite nice as well. So you could have a coffee, lunch or even dinner there. e.g.The sushi bar offers sushi buffet at reasonable price. (2) The equipment rental office, learning school, ski lift and gondola are all located at Hilton. You just need to walk out the back door from the hotel lobby. (3) Onsen in the hotel is nice, especially the outdoor section. You could enjoy the snow and hot-spring at the same time with beautiful scenery. (4) Hotel staff are helpful and nice, and most importantly they could all speak fluent english. (5) The Hirafu downtown is the closest and best place to have your dinner while staying in Hilton. Take the free shuttle bus from hotel, or if you have all mountain pass then you could take another bus service free of charge. But keep in mind that during dinner time the bus service are very popular, you have to show up earlier and line up in order to get on or you could choose to have the dinner earlier to avoid the peak hour. (6) To get to Hilton from Chitose Airport, you could either drive yourself or book the white-liner bus service. The white-liner bus only cost you 3200 yen per person. But you have to make online booking first. (7) Overall, Hilton is a great place to stay in Niseko, especially when you are a first time visitor or a first time skier. But it is also comparatively expensive.

We stayed in the hotel due to unexpected stay in Sapporo due to bad weather. We booked it through here on the day that we missed out our flight. It is very close to JR station (have underground connecting the station, walking distance within 10mins). The room is tidy and clean. The most surprising thing is the massage chair. It also provided free Wifi and Internet but the cost is relatively cheap. There is close to Hokkaido University which is amazing esp you like photography. Also BBQ / sushi restaurants are nearby. The drawback is that we need to leave the key once we were out. Overall, it is good hotel and I would like to recommend you to stay.

Room is small but clean and comfortable enough. Nice bathroom size with great powerful hot shower. Staff at reception speak English well, which is a great plus because we have encountered many non English speaking staff at other hotels in Hokkaido. Very friendly and helpful staff. Short walking distance from the train station which houses a massive underground mall with countless eateries n shops.

The overall stay was good as we are relatively well-taken care of. That was our first time to Hokkaido and the airport bus is just 100m diagonally opposite the hotel. The lobby was small but informative, many brochures and flyers are available introducing the popular places to visit. However, the sleeping comfort and room quality can be further improved. We checked in and were given a smoking room as booked. The ventilation was very poor and the room was heavily reek of smoke and it continued slightly to remain throughout our whole 5-days stay. Good thing is the staff, after informed, brought us a air cleanser and it became slightly better. Next, the pillow was too high for an average person (I am 1.68m, imagine if you are shorter). Due to my job nature, I have slept in many different types of hotels but the pillow was making my neck a little miserable. As a conclusion, one really cannot expect much from a 3-star hotel. We really like the bathroom as it was well-equipped and a deep bathtub for us to soak in after a day of sightseeing. However, I will recommend for those who are under budget but make sure you book a non-smoking room for non-smokers for the sake of health.

Sapporo was our last stop after traveling through Hokkaido and we checked in right after dropping off our car. Unfortunately the room we booked were very small for us as we were traveling with a baby, big luggages and stroller. So we check with the front if there is any connecting room as we had 2 rooms but they didn't but the friendly staff understood we were quite desperate (cuz of walking baby) They gave us a very big Japanese room that has extra room. We can't express our appreciation for the staff enough! The location was right in the city and very convenient to anywhere, walking distance to Sapporo station.

Traveled up from Tokyo and had no problems. They also our GoodSports.co.jp rentals for our trip to Niseko very smoothly. I was initially worried, but the package was in the lobby ready for pickup once we landed at hotel. If we're ever back in Hokkaido, we will definitely stay at this place again guaranteed. We were just minutes away from the shinkansen back as well as the entire shopping district.

Check in was slow but we understood Because he/she was a trainee. The bar on the 31st floor was great. The staff were very kind and probably it is the most beautiful sight you can enjoy during at night. The room was comfortable size compare to other business hotels in Japan. But it seems that the hotel was fully booked so we had breakfast in one of the conference room was the downside. But overall, I thought it was the the best accommodation during the travel in Hokkaido in a week.

First note - I went to Hakodate because I have a friend who lives there. I don't think Hakodate itself is a place worth staying at unless you're on business or arrive late and need to spend the night before going elsewhere (i.e. the countryside, you didn't come to Hokkaido just to stay in the city). That being said, if you do have business in Hakodate, the Four Points is an excellent choice. It's located right in front of the JR station, just cross the road and you're there. Accommodation in Hakodate is cheap so a 4-star hotel like this is cheaper than a 2.5-star hotel in Tokyo. Room is standard by Japanese terms. One problem is that for some reason it was pretty hot in the room (although very cold outside) but the A/C only does heating. Great view of the area if you're in a high floor. Breakfast is great but expensive. Staff are very friendly though you could expect better English in a place operated by Sheraton. Overall great choice if you need a little more than a bed.

The hotel location is superb. The room although a little but small but as a typical japan. This would consider average. However, the view is fabulous ( try all 4 sides and still like everyside) The service staff has no flaw here. I can only think of few other hotels that has a more impressive service than this one (those are not in hokkaido and also come with ridiculously expensive price). The breakfast is average to 5 stars level The hot spring is nice consider this in the middle of sapporo (of couse you can not compare with ryokan that located in natural onsen area) Overall, it is the best hotel in sapporo in term of quality, No matter you are business man, couple, or family.

It's 5 minutes from JR Sapporo train station. 3 minutes from the nearest shopping centre. 2 minutes from Kinokuniya book store, and 30 seconds from the nearest convenient store. Checking in was smooth. The Room has a special slider blocks out 95% of the railway noise from the outside which is really convenient (incase your room faces the station. Room was decent, can be a little narrow to open bags fully. There was a little odor from the toilet, but apart from that, I think the room was well planned. Now breakfast was amazing! They served mini pastries that were always refilled. have 100% hokkaido cow's milk, its milk pudding version! and Hokkaido Cow's milk yogurt! Theres free wifi, laundry and business centres downstairs and accomodating receptionists. A good location to base for when traveling around Sapporo and the areas around.

This hotel exceeded my standards totally !!!! My group and I settled for a high floor on the 7th floor!!! Do pay a little extra for the high floor and you will find it will be totally worth it!!! got a room right smack in the middle of the hotel so had views from left to right of lake toya!!! rooms is huge with the ample space to move around!!! buffet is a really wide spread!!! comparable with 5 stars hotel buffet spread!!! do look out for the fireworks everyday at 8.45pm. it last from left to right of lake toya!! if u have a room on the high floor then watch it in the comfort of your room!!! on the top floor there is the public onsen for female and male as well but if u wan a private onsen its chargeable as well for only 50 mins but must be reserved in advance. a pity we only stayed 1 night as we were driving across hokkaido but will definitely stay there again if we passed through that area.

the hotel located near JR station so it convenience to access JR, train, bus, subway. the hotel have nice staff unless most of them can not speak english well but they try to help us with their best, the restaurant is great and varieties of food; such as japan sushi, hokkaido milk with good taste. the room a bit small for foreigner but it clean, new and no smell. i can't say that this hotel is not good but i am sure the hotel is the great choice for people need to access JR and shopping place.

Amongst the other hotels that I’ve stayed in Hokkaido, it’s relatively older but I had a pleasant one-night stay at APA Hotel & Resort Sapporo. It’s definitely a lot bigger than the usual APA hotels in Japan, and it also has a public bath. I lost my travel adapter at my previous hotel & was extremely thankful to the staff who helped me to contact both hotels and assist with getting my lost item to my next hotel. Thank you :)

We stayed at 6 different hotel in Hokkaido and Best Western Chitose was difinately one of the best hotels we stayed at. The facilities in room along with the amenities were amazing. Staffs spoke good English and were very helpful and friendly. Location is very good with a 7-11 right opposite the hotel. Free parking for guests who get a car (we rented a car for our 2 weeks excursion of Hokkaido).

The hotel is old. However the staffs are doing their best to serve the guests. Breakfast was fantastic and of great value. This is comparing to many hotel stays during my 10 days in Hokkaido. I still think Hotel Nord Otaru provides the best breakfast for value of money. The sashimi don session is a real thumbs up. The bathroom comes with the traditional Japanese style and it is very comfortable. The only thing that I might comment is the extra room for luggage (we booked for 4 pax room which they converted the sitting area into 2 extra single beds nicely set up). As international travellers, this might be a little challenging. The number of switches are not sufficient too. However these would not discount that the hotel is still of great value and comfort.
