Townsman Inn in Larned , KS is an exceptional value for your money. My room was extremely clean. The room had recently had new carpet installed, the mattress appeared to be fairly new and the room was recently painted, The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The continental breakfast was good. And best of all the Inn was owned and operated by real Americans...

Found it on list of pEt friendly hotels. We have a large, furry, gentle, easy-going therapy dog.

The room was dirty. There were still empty beer bottles on the window inside our room.

We received a king sized bed for the price of a Queen. Bed was very firm. The room was clean and quiet. No pool. Breakfast was small muffins, toast, bagels, orange juice and milk.

We arrived a little later than expected and had trouble finding the location. The motel is behind a huge row of trees and not visible from the road--we finally spotted the Rodeway sign. As mentioned the location is great. The staf @ reception are very friendly. Rooms are very clean indeed.

This was the backside of my trip. The staff improved but my room location was far from ideal. My room and elevator shared a wall and it was distractingly, annoyingly bad. The hotel looked to be newly renovated, booked a room, checked in, got a ground floor room. Turned on the A/C and the first thing it did NOT blow cold air, the room started filling up with dirty air and "SMOG" and was very difficult to breath. I gave it a little time to clear up but it didn't... I couldn't take it anymore so I went to the front desk and told the clerk...

Could have a more hearty breakfast

The front desk clerk in the evening was very friendly & explained the various services offered. The morning clerk was also courteous and we left feeling that we would happily use this hotel again. The beds were comfortable & we slept well. Although the room was not large we were very comfortable.

This hotel needs some updating. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool seemed overly chlorinated. My daughter and some other kids all had very red eyes after getting in and persisted until the next morning. Breakfast was very minimal. It was ok, but it was cheap.

Was in the area for a NYE celebration and this was the only location within 8 miles of where I would be. Staff was exceptionally nice and as friendly as you would want, especially during the morning breakfast. Nothing much else around here so it's a place that can serve a purpose if needed, as well as being priced right for doing so. Definitely would stay here again if...

Ver overpriced for such an older facility...needs to add grab bars in the shower....bad odor in the hallways.

The facility was less than expected. Continental breakfast was inadequate. The biggest disappointment, however, was the inability to contact the facility with a question reference late check-in. After 4 attempts I gave up. Calls Avoca went straight to HOLD music, twice!

I am on oxygen 24-7 and when I made reservations thru hotels.com I had said I needed a room on ground floor with easy access. When we got there the room was on 2nd floor (no elevator)in middle of bldg about as far from parking as possible. receptionist had a hard time processing my 3rd party reservation. room had a strong negative odor. was told by receptionist that breakfast closed 930-1000. Breakfast person began shutting down before 9. would only recommend to a friend if expectations were not high.

Only thing was each part of the facility had a strong and different smell. Had to buy some fabreeze.

The hotel was surprisingly nice for the price. The room were spacious with a walk in closet. The bath area was also large and nicely arranged with useful storage under the vanity. The hotel is located in a very good, upscale area.

Clean and quiet place friendly staff. Only issue we had is our door handle was broken and could only be pulled up on. But the staff let us know it was, there was one issue where the door sounded like it latched shut but it didn’t so you could just push it open without the key. But over all it was a good stay.

We didn't stay here long, only one night. I will say that of all the Motel 6's I've stayed at, this one was pretty clean and looked nice. I stayed in one recently and it was terrible, this one was was much much cleaner. I wouldn't mind staying here again.

A little slow in checking in, but OK. good value for the money.

Breakfast was crowded

Nice room, no coffee pot. Hot tub was unsafe because of the temp and half full of water from all the small children using it as a kiddy pool.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff was pleasant. However, the room was very small, and the pool/spa seems to be permanently closed. This also appears to be a Microtel that has switched ownership to Motel 6. The room was standard Microtel design, but it is now a Motel 6. If you plan to spend very little time at the motel, this is a great price ...

We found the room to be an exceptional value. Well equipped with comfortable bed and pillows. When we went for the "free" breakfast, there was little there. A few Eggo-like waffles, and some donuts.
