The Monteleone is a beautiful grand old hotel in the midst of the French Quarter. I understand that it's still owned and operated by the same family since its beginnings. It is immaculately kept and quite comfortable, in my opinion. Service was very good, and our river view room was beautifully appointed. I will say though by modern standards storage was a bit limited in our base priced double room. Nevertheless I couldn't be happier with my recent stay. Besides for those that stay there, the hotel itself is a tourist destination. Its Carousel Bar, famous for being one of Gov. Huey P. Long's favorite haunts, attracts visitors and natives alike to come on in for a drink and is quite busy. Although we didn't dine there a good friend and French Quarter resident for nearly fifty years gave high praises to the hotel's restaurant. I feel that I got a wonderful deal booking through Agoda, and the next time in New Orleans I would gladly stay at the Monteleone again.

Visited Hyatt Regency for my stay in New Orleans for my birthday. The staff is very helpful, the rooms are nice and the location of the hotel is near the major attractions in the French Quarter. The morning of my check out, there was a fire alarm and everyone had to evacuate the hotel. By the time we got downstairs, everything was figured out and we were able to go right back to our rooms.

We loved the hotel overall. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby has the traditional older New Orleans look to it, but the rooms and updated beautifully to be more up to date but still have that Louisiana charm. The only negative was the elevator situation. There are only two and the hotel I believe was full and it was difficult to get an elevator in a timely fashion. A couple times we waiting for a while, only to have the door open with a full elevator. We were only on the 3rd floor so we took the stairs a lot instead of waiting for the elevator.

This is a great hotel for someone to visit NOLA for a couple of days. It is within an easy walking distance from the French Quarter, Riverfront, etc., but yet not too close to get bothered at night by revelers. The room on the 4th floor facing the Riverwalk Mall was quiet, comfortable and very clean (with the exception of the coffee mugs). I recommend this hotel, and would certainly stay there again. Super-friendly and helpful staff. Other than the room, I did not use any of the facilities of the hotel.

Location is ideal, close enough to everything but away from Canal and Quarter crowds. Restaurant Luke is one of the finest anywhere. The staff were young and friendly and the jazz group Saturday night in the lobby was a pleasant surprise. Room furnishings could be warmed up and the toilet seat in my room was literally falling off. $45 a night valet parking is outrageous. Would revisit if price were right.

At the advice of my travel agent, Travel Escapes by Heller, I stayed at the Troubadour, a concept hotel by Hilton. I lean towards Hilton properties and I wasn't disappointed. The hotel is in an excellent quiet location in the up and coming Business District, yet is an easy mile walk from the French Quarter. The hotel is remodeled and mod with lots of character. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was excellent as were creative cocktails. Try the rooftop deck, Monkey Board, for amazing drinks and city views. Top notch and the price was reasonable. You'll be glad that you gave the Troubadour a try.

First time at Eldorado everything from the staff to the cleanest of the room beds super comfortable exceeded my expectations. The Seafood buffet was outstanding. Gaming options were great. I played blackjack at a video console dealing live hands to multi players so much better than a traditional table. My only concern I didn't have more time to stay longer. Best Casino resort in Shreveport period.

Great hotel. Location is perfect because it is quiet (not too close to the rowdy areas) but close enough to walk most places you want to visit. Also near the trolley cars. Terrific rooftop pool, and the rooms are spacious. Hotel is very clean. What really set this hotel apart however, was the concierge, Claudette. The best ever. Everything she recommended was wonderful, and our trip was so enriched because of her. Never had a better concierge. During our trip we repeatedly sung her praises, as everything we visited - swamp tours, restaurants, bars, music venues, and walking tours were fabulous and the recommendations were spot on. I'd go back to the Jung just to see Claudette and have her recommend what to do on the second trip. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Claudette however, took it to another level.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton. Our room was modern, clean and spacious; we felt very comfortable during our stay. The room did not have free wifi, but free wifi was available in the lobby. The hotel location was PERFECT: right across from the French Quarter, walking distance to all the restaurants and bars, also Bourbon Street was only a few blocks away. The trolley cars run right through Canal St making it convenient to hop on and head to other tourist destinations in the area. Overall we were pleased with our stay and highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed at the CAMBRIA in Chicago last year and have always been on the lookout for other locations. Booking and checking in was a breeze, we noticed that the hotel has plenty of parking all around, along with friendly valet staff. We arrived prior to check-in time and were able to leave our luggage at the hotel and head out right away. The location of the hotel is in pleasant walking distance to so many attractions, particularly the French Quarter, Cabildo, Riverwalk, Natchez steamboat, Casino, and so many great restaurants and eateries closeby. The hotel is spacious, rooms airy, comfortable, clean, trendy decor, with a great upbeat atmosphere. Absolutely delightful! Checking out was simple, big thanks to Will, who was extremely helpful and pleasant, providing additional information and facilitating the process for us and helping to make our 2nd stay with CAMBRIA yet again so memorable! In fact, every single member of the staff was always friendly and pleasant during our entire stay, thank you for another great experience. 💗

The hotel was beautiful and very clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The restaurant downstairs is so so and over priced for breakfast lunch and dinner, but the bar has some of the best drinks we had in New Orleans and a GREAT oyster happy hour. My only complaint is that since it's in an old building we had only one very small window in our room. As a result is was quite dark, even during the day.

This hotel is charming and quiet. It is very well located for business travelers as well as sightseers. Though it is in the Central Business District, the hotel is a short walk from the French Quarter (and much quieter). It is also possible to walk to the Garden District and a number of museums. The hotel has a restaurant as well as an appealing bar and both indoor lounging areas and an outdoor courtyard. The only negatives are that the lighting could be better and the small double room we stayed in seemed to have had its closet converted to a coffee / snack station. A small clothing rack is located near the bathroom.

I had plans to go to NOLA for a concert. Did not realize that there was a Saints game and it was Bayou Classic, plus the Thanksgiving Holiday. I searched the week before for a hotel and the prices were insane. I checked again about 5 days before our intended stay and found this deal on Agoda. I'd never heard of this site before but figured it couldn't hurt. We had a suite which included a bedroom and a sitting area which turned out to be a great thing. The room was cleanish but showed signs of wear. The room was great but the bathroom was SMALL. There were two pods of coffee in the room. Otherwise we had to use the restaurant which was $3 each and no refills. Both elevators worked and my daughter called it a perfect hotel stay. I have a mysterious $40 charge on my card but hope that goes away. All in all, recommend it for a budget stay. Be prepared to bring a noise machine. Canal street is loud! GREAT location for downtown Saengar or Joy Theater.

There is only one receptionist at the counter doing everything, but she gave me warm welcome. The room is big and there is a small kitchen which has microwave, coffee making, and the best is washing machine. I stayed for 5 nights, so the washing machine is a need for me. There is the good wireless in my room. I took a shuttle bus from the airport and the hotel was easily found. I could walk to theNew Orleans Convention Center.

this place is unique, a beautiful genuine new Orleans building, decorated to reflect the area, with each room individually themed. Nancy was extremely friendly and helpful, could not do enough to help, but not in your face. Breakfast was homemade and different each day, and probably the best we have had anywhere we have ever stayed. Walking distance to Frenchman street (far better bars and music than Bourbon street) and downtown areas if you don't mind a 10/15 minute walk, otherwise streetcar not far. If you are visiting New Orleans you would be missing out on a wonderful experience if you stayed anywhere else!

I had a business trip to New Orleans with a friend and we wanted to stay in an apt rather than hotel rooms. This apt fit our needs perfectly. It's a beautiful modern/warehouse rehab with loads of art on the walls. Two large bedrooms and a large living/dining area. The huge outside terrace with table & chairs looked wonderful but it rained the whole time so we didn't get to use it. There's a traditional drip coffee maker with packs of coffee- no K cup though. There is also a blender. There's a coffee place a few doors down and many nice restaurants a short distance away. The convention center and the French Quarter were both an easy 15-20 walk (or 10 mins via UBER/LYFT)

Visited the area for a friend's birthday celebrations. This was our first time and we wanted to stay somewhere close to all available activities in the city. We were extremely happy to find such a great hotel for such a great price! Unfortunately, only 1 of the 2 elevators was working, though the wait wasn't too bad. The toilet in our bathroom also moved around when we used it, so we had to be careful with that. Great staff, everyone we interacted with was nice. We'll definitely be back! (Facilities received 3 stars because "n/a" was not available, we did not use facilities)
