It is centrally located, making quick meal and grocery runs very convenient. On the other hand, do not expect the best vista of the mountains from here. But who holes up the entire time in Sagada anyway when it is best to be out enjoying the pleasant climate and breathtaking landscape? The common areas and bathrooms are always kept clean. However, it may rouse one awake when people are walking around getting ready to go out early in the morning since the walls and floors in the upper levels are made of wood. I personally didn't find it bothering though. Also, the free breakfast adds substantial value, considering the price point of the accommodation. Two thumbs up!

We had an amazing vacation in Sagada! Thanks to Poli the owner of Shamrock who took care of us and treated us like family! He made sure that we enjoy the best tourist spots in Sagada. At the Inn, we felt so comfortable. The room was nice with a very good view of the mountain. The beds were good size and clean. There is a hot shower. Raymond the reception guy was amazing and always smiling. They sell some stuff at the reception area like hygiene stuff, snacks and drinks ( including alcoholic beverages) and they provide COMPLIMENTARY LOCAL BREWED COFFEE (delicious coffee!!!) at the lobby 24/7! And on our last night Poli (the owner) cooked dinner for us and sent it to our room.🙂🙂🙂. If you are a dog lover, you might wanna look for Poli's dogs who are so sweet and cute😃 Storm, Kirky and Rambo🙂🙂🙂. Thank you Poli for your warm hospitality!❤ We look forward to visit there again. My family loved it! We highly recomend Shamrock Tavern for a place to stay in Sagada!

The place is big, several floors with big rooms. There is amazing view is at the mountains and caves. It's great, especially in the morning. The Wi-Fi is not bad, but sometimes disappears ( in the morning and after 6-9 in the evening). In general I liked the place a lot. The host is a ice person! Only two things that at less great is that the locations is away from the center but closer to nature and quitter. And the hot water disappears sometimes. But don't forget it's not a luxury staying so for these conditions and location it's the best!

Before anything else, let me just warn that this is not the best choice of accommodation for those who are going to Sagada to do the usual tours and food crawl. This hostel's location is very far from the town proper and getting there involves a bit of a hike and possibly, hitchhiking if you miss the public transport, which is - to begin with, already limited. So to set expectations, this place isn't ideal for the usual Sagada visitor - most especially, first-timers who are keen to maximize their sightseeing options and weekenders with a tight schedule. On the flipside, this place is more catered to those who just want to chill in the mountains. There are a lot of things to rave about the place - the ambiance, the coffee, the food, the surrounding scenery, the super comfy bunk beds with hotel-grade mattresses, and the chance to learn more about coffee from bean to cup. It really is the perfect place to disconnect, and just be.

If you want to have a very peaceful stay in Sagada where you can feel completely unplugged this isbthe perfect place for u. Words can't describe how much I enjoyed my stay in Sagada because of this place. How often will u come across a place where there's a balcony with a mountain view, singing birds and a very cool wind brushing considering how affordable this place is. I liked that I don't see staff around, they gave you what you need and it will be just you and Sagada, which I think is the perfect set up to fall deeply in love with such a humble place. If ever I'll go back to Sagada, I will definitely stay here again.

I booked a house good for 5 pax and already paid it prior to the reserved date. Then arriving at the location, it is a bit far from the town not knowing that they will just TRANSFER us to the different house. They said that their rooms are already full. I ALREADY PAID THE FULL AMOUNT 2 WEEKS BEFORE. I am so disappointed. I always book rooms in agoda and this is the first time I encountered this.

It was a pleasant stay at a basic hotel. There are not a lot of luxuries as you would expect but it is just up the street from a nice restaurant. Ridgebrooke Hotel was clean and comfortable enough for me to come back again. I asked to be in the room near the internet router which was a good move if you want to use the internet from your room. Be careful if you are going to Sagada by jeepney as the last jeepney coming back leaves at about 1 pm. I visited Bontoc during the fiesta period (April) and saw the crowning of Miss Mountain province which was an enjoyable experience. There is a museum in the town proper up the hill to the left and a good scenic view of the town and farmlands about a 10 minute walk towards Banaue.

Firstly this is a 1 star accommodation so as long as you remember this I think it's not bad. Spacous room, bathroom was rough but none the less it did the job. Hard bed but again at least there was a bed off the floor. And pillows and blankets. Quit noisy but that's not their fault. We where just stopping there as a base to go and see the great Whang Od. Did the job for a buget traveller.

This inn was a good value for what they charge. Owned by local family who were very friendly and accommodating. As far as what is available in Sagada, we were very satisfied. The building is old, and definitely gives a feel like you've gone back in time a bit, but its a nice atmosphere when you are staying in a rural province in philippines. A short walk to city center/tourist office. They let us use their kitchen to cook our food even, although they serve meals(pre-order only) on request. Overall good stay.

The staff was so friendly and helped us plan our trip and guided us about everything. The city itself doesn't have much, except for a few rice terraces and some hot springs within 10 km radius. But Bontoc is a great jeepney hub and facilitate transportation between Sagada and Banaue. Agoda claimed on a map that there was only 8 km between Sagada and Bontoc, hence this hotel booking... As the crow flies, perhaps. As the jeepney rides, no. But we had a great time riding on the jeepeny roof, when we left for Sagada.
