New Mexico hotels & accommodations

We have stayed here before; however, my only 2 concerns were the food was cold and the beds weren't made. We did however heat our breakfast in the microwave in the room since the room was very close to the dining room. While I don't mind that the beds weren't made I have not had that happen at this hotel before. Otherwise a very pleasant place to stay.

They just started implementing this a couple months ago (today 10/1/2018) so will say only your particular 3rd party booking is the only one that hasn't posted it on their website. I overheard them talking to an international couple about this regarding their booking.com booking -- b.s. bec agoda also stated I PAID IN FULL per my booking contract. No clause on it rega...

Wonderful location to all the main down town Santa Fe locations. The Basilica is just short two blocks away. The hotel is also a short walking distance from the Canyon Rd Christmas Eve walk. We did not dine at the Luminaria since is was booked on both days - that means it must have been excellent. Room was nice overall but the HVAC system was loud and the room lost he...

This is the place to stay in Santa Fe. On the plaza and so convenient to all the activities, restaurants, museums, etc. A new twist is the valet parking where you have no access to your car in the garage unless you call the valet. With the daily charge of $32 and multiple tips for drop-off and pickup it gets a little pricey for parking. They should lower the daily rate ...

The Hotel Santa Fe is without a doubt the best value in Santa Fe. And it’s native owned! - Perfectly located a 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk to the Plaza - Close to good restaurants and excellent antique stores - Rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet - Staff is exceedingly friendly and frequently go out of their way for you - Lovely bar/restaurant with tasty food ...

Check in staff was a bit slow, but was understandable due to it being the weekend. Front staff worked as a team as much as possible, except one tall gentleman with glasses and light skin, dark hair . This gentleman was not efficient at check in guest in, and held up line for all guest. This indifidual was not verbal or vocal in getting guest attention to move line quic...

Very good place. I'd opt for the mini suite with balcony around room 405. We had a balcony with views of the mountains, a huge room with leather couch, 2 sinks, a fridge and microwave, and we got 2 bottles of water and 2 granola bars each day! Rooms were decorated in true Santa Fe style. Would be a good walk to the plaza (about 1 1/2 miles) but you can easily dri...

The rooms are like little apartments decorated with a New Mexico theme. Location was excellent within walking distance to the Plaza for shopping and dinner. Steve’s recommendation for a steakhouse was on point. Breakfast provided was yummy with made to order omelette, waffles, variety of coffees and baked goods. We will be back.

Behind the Times & Poorly Maintained Building: Behind the Times: In the room, no safe, no microwave, no refrigerator. Poorly Maintained: 1.) The skylight in the lobby above the fountain is filthy, dripping with dirt. 2.) The outside face of the doors to the pool need re-staining along with other outdoor wooden furniture (especially the side tables for the room pa...

Very clean, staff was nice except 1 housekeeper walked around looking mopey and almost ran into my oblivious child w a maid cart, didn't say excuse me etc. The rooms were pretty clean which is a A++. The mood of hotel was relaxing. I wasn't happy when a fire alarm went off at 2AM, I understand it was prob due to guest but still interrupted many guests and took me ...

This is a lovely historical hotel located a short walk from the plaza. I have stayed here before and would definitely stay again - the staff is friendly and the hotel is very comfortable. This particular time, I had a room with a wooden floor. I thought it was charming at first, until I realized the room above me also had a wooden floor...and was inhabited by peop...

We have stayed here in the past and enjoyed it. This time we were very disappointed. Our room looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned, the bed was squeaky every time we moved, the phone didn’t work, the ventilation system made a high pitched whine sound, it just seemed like things were neglected. We will find another hotel next time.

Our room was wonderful, and the free shuttle was the cherry on top! We didn’t even need to rent a car which saved us money. The shuttle runs from 10am-10pm. The staff was very accommodating and eager to please. They have dvds to borrow if you want to chill at the resort. The pool was refreshing and the hot tub was hot. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bedroom...

Absolutely lovely! Decor fits the Santa Fe esthetic without looking cheesy. It’s warm and inviting, rich woods with gorgeous tapestries. And we weren’t even to our room yet! Room was a king deluxe. Very spacious, comfortable bed, outlets on the side of end tables for charging devices, bathroom was large and beauriful’ I seriously did not want to leave. So much characte...

First of all, the staff was great. They were extremely helpful, and polite. The location was the absolute best. We could hear the Church bells from the hotel when we were outside. The hotel is walking distance to the Plaza, three churches, There are two amazing pizzeria within walking distance. Rooftop in the plaza, and Upper Crust just a hop to the South of the hotel....

Rooms had recently been remodeled and thus were like new. Murphy bed was a useful concept which made a small room much larger. It was comfortable to sleep on with the new mattress. One issue was whether the wifi was free, as it came initially with a $13/day charge during set up. Management did give a code which "zeroed" the charge. Be sure to get the code on che...

Check in staff were rude except for the new lady getting trained in. The night bell hop (latino male in his 30's?) harrassed us about moving my truck and camper rudely at 9:30pm at night, and then came back to the room within 5 minutes to try and yell at me again about moving the truck and camper. I hadn't even had time to put my shoes on and find my keys by the time h...

Great room, great staff, and perfect location. The folks at Drury make you feel like you're staying at a 5 star hotel. My wife and I stayed for two nights. We ate breakfast at the hotel (free), had a drink at the hotel (complimentary drink tickets), and hit the hot tub three times. We were able to walk to all Sante Fe attractions and were a short drive to anything ...

We arrived at the Ramada after 12hrs driving and emotionally exhausted after experiencing car trouble. The hotel is very southwest and has amenities such as a beauty parlor and car rental on site. The rooms are very clean and beds are comfy. We left the next day well rested and ready to take on the next adventure.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The staff makes the property special. The rooms are a little older, but clean and comfortable. The restaurant on the property , Estevans, is really great, and reasonable. I think the dinner we had there was the best meal of our trip! Special shout out to Zachary, Esperanza and Daniel who are the reps at the front desk.

I have stayed at this hotel many, many times and CONSISTENTLY it meets my expectations. I just love their beds, but perhaps the most important aspect of staying at the Eldorado is the courtesy and kindness of staff: front desk - excellent valet - kind and helpful housekeeping - so polite You have to ...
Cheap places to stay in New Mexico

We booked the hotel through Agoda but their description was lacking detail...for instance the indoor pool is only open in the summer....if you book late in the day there only rooms available are upstairs NO ELEVATOR Breakfast was OK but not spectacular. There were hot waffles...eggs...sausage patties...hashbrowns but the oatmeal was all instant with sugar...the yogurt...

Only minor complaint was bathroom fan was a little noisy. No free breakfast, but those are never very good anyway. Was great for an inexpensive stay while traveling. Food/dining is rated 3 because they don't have a restaurant of any kind at the motel. Lots of good options nearby though.

The staff are excellent and it is family owned. I wish so badly that I could give it a good review but it was dirty. It’s very small and although the room looked ok when we first got there, the bathroom had hair everywhere including on toilet seat, the sink would fill up before you could even wash your hands and take forever to drain and the next morning we found a dir...

I really enjoyed stay here in the hotel. It was really clean in the first place. The best among all the motels and inns I've booked during my route 66 trip! I love it so so much! the breakfast was also terrific. the most important thing is the price is so low! I love it!!!!

Large room. All furniture what you need: cupboards, chairs and table. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed. Pity that we had time only for one night. And so cheap! The staff /owner has behaved very smart: it may be profitable to sell for low price, but more. The place was full of people!

Large room. Comfortable bed. Furnished OK. Acceptable breakfast. But no fridge nor microwave. Because of our long trip, we had some food "storage", but there was no place to keep it in cold conditions. We were happy that there was low temperature outside. We kept our food in our car.

Staff at check-in was right on the ball with checking us in and suggesting places to eat. There are fast food places all over in the neighborhood. And a big super-center for shopping around the corner. The room was clean and comfortable and everything worked.

The swimming pool is not in operation, and what they call a breakfast is make your own toast and cold cereal (only two types) and packaged sweet rolls that tasted like they have been around for a long while not very fresh. The room was acceptable for me because I am not picky, I know that my friends would not stay because of the looks of the property. Priced right.

In all my years of traveling and using Agoda, I have looked to the positive side, but this time, it will be difficult. The hotel itself was not marked well and in the middle of an older area. The outside of the hotel is right out of the 50's, 60's, and sadly has not been updated since then. Very run down. The husband/wife staff was just there doing their business.....

I had a room on the first floor facing the main road (which I did not hear at night). The room was clean and well kept. There was a shower cabin (and no bath tub). Internet (wifi) is available for a fee (24h/3USD). Coffee is offered (in the morning).

Basic essentials. Bathroom door couldn’t be locked. Bathroom stocked for 1-2 ppl not 4. The room was clean and bed fairly comfortable. Area outside has a constant smell of petroleum or some chemical. Basic breakfast, waffle machine, couple of cereal options, mini muffins and apple/oj machine, and coffee. Good place to stay for a short time. Ac functioned well. Area was...

The hotel and it’s staff were beyond disappointing. It’s being ran by young people who seem to be very inexperienced at running a hotel. Plus, the place is just old. It’s truly needs an overhaul. If you’re looking to stay closer to Santa Fe, look elsewhere. I never thought a Double Tree could disappoint like this. P.S. The cookies we received upon check in were days...

Our room had it all... a court yard shaded by an ancient vine and a waterfall at our front door, a small living room with a fireplace, a king sized bedroom also with fireplace, an enclosed porch and a small private our door courtyard. Breakfast was wonderful in a very lovely, high ceiling room. What more could one wish?

The matrass was very hard. The bed was so high we had to jump up on the matrass. One electrical outlet in bedroom. Two electrical outlets in the bathroom which did not work. Too many extension cords. No room service at all on our second day. We left on the third day.
Luxury hotels in New Mexico

Fantastic stay at FSSantaFe. Occasionally a few things not up to FS quality, like we kept having to ask for more firewood, but everything else ws great. Great free morning hike on property, breakfast expensive but high quality. Cozy room with wood burning fireplace and large modern bathroom. Classic FS comfortable bed.
