The hotel is splendidly situated inside the fortress in Akhaltsiche.. It has a wonderful atmosphere with the hotel keeping with the stone facades and inner courtyard. There is a restaurant that serves great Georgian food til 11pm. The rooms are clean and the staff are pleasant and helpful. We would just suggest they make sure all rooms have a kettle and cups for coffee...
Pool and hotel itself is quite nice. Breakfast very awerage - no fruits., lack of georgian dishes... Bathroom wall was leaking. Towels very tired - not suitable for 4 stars hotel. We were not offered any free diners as some reviewers, thus better do not expect that.
Good location.. Staffs always friendly.. rooms are clean.. but so small .. also the entrance are tough.
Erik's guest house was perfect for two couples. The apartment is a large two bedroom (although the bathroom is small). They had great recommendations on what to see and where to get Georgian food in Borjomi. We would stay here again.
In short, appart from the famous mineral water of borjomi witch is accros the road 300 meters in front of the gust house, apart of the historic park witch is only few minuts on feet and you are ther, train station is few minuts away, bus station is few minuts away as well. Shota and Mari are great hosts, they were happy to help us with whatever we needed. The room was clean and bed was comfortable, it's only 10 mins walk from mashtka (mini van) stop and has a great view of the valley. If you want to experience true Georgian hospitality, we totally recommend their place! :-)

Economical, clean and felt like home. Though they couldn't speak fluent English, they tried their best to fulfill our needs and queries. They treated us like their own children. Will definitely come back if visiting Borjomi again
Really satisfied with the service, very pleasant staff. The manager upgraded our room which delighted us. He also gave good recommendations on what to do in Abastumani. Location is not at bus terminal or city centre but within walking distance. Was picked up by male hostel owner with another hostel guest after being mislead to Lile Cafe which is owned and managed by the hostel's owner wife. Owner is very informative and uses google translate in Russian speech to English. Cafe food is not that nice though.

Location is not obvious but easy to find, right next to Hostel “Mimino”, almost opposite, on the right hand side, just a few steps ahead. Despite its name, don’t expect a castle, it’s a private home. The owner speaks a little German and is very friendly.
