It was very good experience staying in The Golden Crest. The location is excellent. The staff is very supportive. Mr. Pravin is really a good man and was a helping hand. He created our itinerary and booked cab for us. It was a hassle free experience. He also took special permission for us to view the traditional dance performed by Mumbai Group on the hotel. Thank you a lot for this - this was amazing experience. Breakfast was delicious and each day the menu was unique. Over all a good experience with the hotel. I would recommend to all those who want a hotel near to m.g road and a good staff. Thank you.

We travelled in March 2019 and I would say this is one of the best places to stay in Lachen. The property is beautiful. The view from the room is breathtaking. The staff is wonderful, they took very good care of us. The resort tariff might seem a bit expensive as compared to other places but it is well worth every penny. All meals were included in the cost and the staff serves delicious food with several options to choose from. We particularly liked the little attention to details like, they gave blanket heaters along with room heater, gave hot water in flask for the night, started the fireplace before dinner and served us food with much love! The location of this property is the best thing about this resort.

The title that I have given sums it all!! Really from warm welcoming staff to basically every little thing that the room contained. we were upgraded to a family suite room due to non availability of executive rooms which I previously booked and paid for. this hotel will blow your mind with the service that they are providing. I loved every bit of it. Food too was amazingly delicious and the menu was never ending 😂😂. I felt like I should have stayed for another night. scenic views are really worth it. We could see chardham right from our room.

We have planned this trip as a break from our hectic city schedule for some peace and quiet.The Manderin Village Resort lived up to our requirements to the hilt! The place was very quiet with lovely surroundings filled with natural colours and sounds and a panoramic view of Kanchangungha and other nearby snow capped peaks.The resort was clean,rooms were comfortable and the stuff led by there manager were friendly and quietly efficient. We would recommend this place to people who plan to spend few days of tranquility.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights as a couple, enjoyed the quiteness and view of Kanchanjangha. Place was about 2 KM away from Pelling hub but was not a trouble as tour guys will readily pickup/ drop off to hotel. Otherwise it a beautiful 2 km walk to taxi stand. Hotel staff was quite assistive. Hotel room was nice and clean. Bathrooms were basic and clean. Hot water was available. What we enjoyed most was the FOOD!! Cook prepared delicious north Indian food. Hot tea was offered on demand and breakfast was prepared on our choice!! What more can i ask for my stay. Worth the money... I would recommend this hotel for ppl who are looking for a relaxing holiday.

This is among the newer hotels in Gangtok and as such the rooms and the interiors are more upmarket. The staff are really helpful and friendly and assisted us promptly. Though the hotel is located a little distance away from the MG Marg and city center, but there were shared taxis available outside. Since this hotel is still in the process of development, there was some construction noise which used to creep till midnight. We booked the luxury suite and were impressed with the space on offer. However the room overlooked the road and we missed the mountain view. Nevertheless it was a pleasant experience and would surely recommend it.

I selected Suhim as an option for my trip to Gangtok based on the TripAdvisor reviews. Infact, I wanted to book Mayfair because of some suggestions given by my friends, however Mayfair was completely booked and also super expensive... I booked Suhim through Agoda and was able to get a Deluxe Room.. Gangtok was the second leg of my trip and I was coming from Yuksam in West Sikkim... Suhim gave a warm welcome to us.. The Room was not ready when we reached, but they were kind enough to give us another room to freshen up from a long drive and some hot tea.. Then we were shifted from that room to 106... This is suppose to be the best room as per a lot of reviews and I would agree to that.. The views from this room were nice and they were overlooking the valley. Emmanuel, the hotel manager was very helpful and spent a lot of time with us by helping us with things in and around Gangtok. Room - The room was nice and spacious. There were a few issues with water but the staff was helpful in getting us water to our room when needed... The bed was comfortable and the washroom was neat and clean. Food - Heard good reviews about Suhim's restaurant from a lot of people around the hotel and I agree to them. The food was really nice.. 2 out of 3 nights we ate at Suhim and the food was amazing. Chicken Momos were awesome. The staff helped us with ordering the best so they get a A++ for that. Breakfast buffet was not widespread but good. The hotel is not near to the market (MG Marg).. It's around 3KM from the location of the hotel. Use a local cab for a trip to market, it will be fun. Overall an enjoyable stay... Room Tip: Try and get a Room with help from Emmanuel.. He will give you the best.. We took 106 and it was Nice...

The room was spacious, very well furnished and clean with all the facilities required for a pleasant stay. Food quality was average, need to be improved. They definitely need a better and trained person at the reception desk. While we arrived, the lady who was there at the reception did not greet us. We had to wait for almost an hour before getting the room, as the room was being cleaned. But no one was there to inform us the same. I had to check from my side why we were made to wait. A courteous staff and trained and professional attitude towards the customers will make this hotel an A+ facility.

Even though they say they accept all cards, it was not working when we visited hotel. The receptionist had drunk when he was on duty, he made us to walk 2 km in the night to get the advance money for next day trip in the night 9PM(we were completely new to the place and had been to sikkim for the first time) just for their mistake of non-availability of card payment. Whenever i asked for a receipt for payment they had not given it on time. Service wise it was really a bad experience for us. And personally, definitely don't recommend staying in keepsa.

They are not professional. They didn’t want to honor our Agoda booking because we got room in great discount. At last they have given after long urged. But given executive room not premium room which we booked and paid. The staffs behaved like this that they are helping us by allowing in their hotel. They told us that they canceled our booking but couldn’t show the cancellation acknowledgment letter.

Although we started off on a bad note with the person at the reception (who needs to learn how to smile when welcoming/ seeing a guest for the first time), we ultimately had a lovely stay here, thankfully. Mr.Tshering helped us with all our questions and needs : thank you Tshering! The views from our room were breathtaking - we were lucky enough to see the sunrise over the magnificent Kanchenjunga range from our room hydrangea503. If you wish you see the sunrise from the helipad, it is about a 5 minute walk from this property. Also we walked to the Sangacholing Monastery : about 1 hour away. It was a lovely trek. The food was unexpectedly good. The kids ate , which says a lot! The property is beautiful, the room was gorgeous. The bathroom was clean. But it could have been cleaner, though : there were cobwebs on top of the fireplace. All in all, a lovely stay. We will definitely stay here again. Note : there is no internet available. whatsapp, even sms-ing was agonisingly slow and unpredictable !

Our stay was good thanks to the nice hotel staff. The room size is smaller than average. The rooms were neat and clean. Staff is courteous and friendly. The rooms gives a beautiful view of the Kanchenjunga range. Our plan had breakfast and dinner, food is fine. Overall, a good stay. We didn't face any issues. Housekeeping is done regularly and of there are any issues it is addressed immediately.

As soon as we reached the place, we we're warned, by the hotel manager, about prohibition of plastic water bottles and that they aren't allowed to even carry or kept in hotel rooms, which later we found wasn't true at all. And this attitude of his really put me off coz after travelling upto that height and awaiting to reach your hotel, one does not expect this kind of a welcome. I had booked a super deluxe room. Nice! Spacious, one double bed in the middle and two single beds on each side, a mini wardrobe, a dressing table, a huge sofa and mesmerising view of nature from the balcony. Bathroom is big but water here has iron (don't know why). Food is purely veg. I don't know if they have a menu as we had buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner and it tasted pretty good. Staff, except one or two, needs some behavioural lessons. Here I would like to mention one instance, we reached l hotel from zero point at around 1:30 pm. As we were informed that lunch will be served till 2, we were in a hurry as we're also checking out after lunch. the staff as soon as we reached asked us to get the check out proceedings done first, also warning that lunch will be there till 2!! this was really gross and disgraceful. having seen that we are traveling with a baby, they had no considerations towards their guests. they were pressurizing us to empty the room immediately for cleaning after we reached, as they were having other guests coming over. Damn, what the hell were you fools doing all these 6 hours when we were out for sightseeing!! Anyways, I have ranked this hotel according to the parameters and would not recommend for families. Well, at least I am not staying again in this property.

Pelling is between Tashiding and Pemayangtse and so is a good stopover spot for touring the area. Ifseen is relatively new and we were there just as the season started and so was very quiet. The morning was exciting for us because of the clear, early view of the Himalayas. The host was very friendly and his wife’s cooking for dinner and breakfast very enjoyable. March by night is cold in Sikkim but somehow our room seemed warm enough even with heating. I will happily return the next time I am in East Sikkim. The hotel is excellent value.
