Traveling to Albania? Find Tiranë hotels

Our stay at The Tirana International Hotel was what we expected,the staff were very polite and very helpful,our room was on the eighth floor to the front and the view across the square was fantastic but not so good at 5 o clock in the morning when the mosque kicked into life,what a noise at such an early hour,if I stay there next time I will ask for a room at the back and not bother looking over the square. The hotel taxi fare was way too expensive that's why we didn't use them,the guys out the front on the taxi rank will take you to the airport for 15 euro if you ask them nice,not like 25 euro in the hotel. The breakfast was ok,fresh omelette and scrambled egg made as you watch,good selection to suite all nationalities,we didn't eat or drink at the hotel as it was way to expensive.

we stayed in many hotels in albania this year and the airport hotel tirana was by far the best. this is no exaggeration. the staff was courteous, smiling, and totally professional. the room was perfectly clean and quiet with every accessory you could ask for. the cooking was fabulous. i probably sound like i'm in the employ of the hotel but i'm not. after the carelessness, dirtiness and poor conditions of some other hotels during our summer vacation, airport hotel tirana came through with flying colors and made us want to come back.

The hotel is conveniently located in the center of Tirana. Parking is available in a small lot next to the hotel. (They will move cars if yours gets blocked in.) The beds were on the softer side but still softly firm. Good quality. Great shower. The breakfast was good, aside from the slightly dreary basement dining room. The worst part was payment. I booked on Agoda and paid for the reservation in advance. The hotel, everyday, said that they didn't get my payment and they were having problems with Agoda. This was not my problem. On the day we were leaving, the issue was so not settled. I spent nearly an hour in the lobby and on the phone with Agoda rectifying the situation. (The hotel couldn't accept card payment from Agoda in euro, only lek -- again, not my problem.) It left us leaving the hotel on a low. I would recommend Hotl Senator, but would problem book otherwise until Agoda and the hotel sort their issues out.

Dinasty Hotel was a great place to stay - very close to the main park and also within walking distance to the main boulevard. Rooms were decorated with an Albanian feel. We stayed in a triple room and it was great that the single bed was in a separate room to the queen. What really blew us away was the friendliness and hospitality of Jimmy (the owner) and his staff. They were always smiling and willing to help. We also had dinner at their hotel restaurant. Jimmy helped with selecting our dishes based on our preferences - all dishes were delicious and value for money. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great location, helpful staff and large beautifully decorated rooms make this a good stop before or after flying. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not up to par on our stay. The starter was inedible; it was partially thawed seafood salad piled on lettuce. We cancelled the main course rather than take the chance it would be better. Hopefully management will remedy this problem and bring the standard up to the rest of the hotel.

It's a new hotel, very neat and clean, very lovely location, very close to the Opera, national historic museum and skanderbeg square. Many restaurants and food shops are at a stone throw distance from the hotel. The new bus station of Tirana is just 8/10 minutes drive from the hotel. This hotel manager cum CEO has given us a fantastic services to us. They provided us free pick up and drop off from/to the bus station. They have served us a fantastic breakfast in the roof top restaurant. We are really pleased and surprised and overwhelmed with pleasure when the gentleman served us a nice plate with our Bangladeshi food. We are amazed at his great job. We enjoyed the food and breakfast with great taste and savour. We wish to come again in this lovely hotel and be their guest in near future.

Good stay but tthe breakfast needs a serious upgrade for a hotel of this price and quality. Get rid of the rid cheap plastic wrapped 'kiddie' cheeses and the terrible tepid instant coffee, PLEASE! Add a few items to show off excellent local prduce eg fresh fruit, decent local cheese, better quality deli meats. Easy! Visitors do love breakfast; this was the only area where I felt the hotel failed badly.

We took a room with a private bathroom but we were given an external bathroom where we told it would be exclusive. Then when we wanted to use the bathroom it was being used by others. The washing machine and dryer was also not for free and we had to pay for it's use although advertised differently. There was a cigarette smell in the room as well, although we asked for a non smoking room. The saving grace was it's location where it was a shopping complex with restaurants in it. Overall disappointing.

Unexpectedly good: not expensive hotel in not especially rich country - I expected much less. It came out to be really high standard: room very clean and also personel tidied it every day very well; wi-fi connection also very good. Minor disadvantages: bed not particularly comfortable, and breakfast quite poor (little choice) - although not agree with comments that it is very small - not really, because you get big something (pastry, like samosa), filled in with spinach or cheese (not very good) and croissant with chocolate - also quite big. + coffee/tea and juice, choice of fruits (apples, peaches, pears).

As long as you have mapped where the hotel is its very easy to find. Centrally located about 5 minutes walk from Skanderberg square emerging between the Opera house and the Museum. A short pleasant walk past the ATM 10 metres from the hotel, some pavement bars about 100 metres further on, through a small park. The hotel has a small reception seating area with a PC for customers use although their wifi is quite fast for your own devices. There is no bar or restaurant. Open for breakfast only is a small well lit basement dining room laid out for buffet service. Breakfast is comprehensive with cereals, cheeses, cold meats, eggs, croissants and breads with choice of jams tea coffee and a good selection of fruits. The room is quite small but pleasantly furnished, think, Premier Inn or Travelodge style with tv, fridge, mini bar, hairdryer etc and immaculately clean. A quite position led to a very comfortable stay.

It is the simplest thing to put up curtains for peoples' privacy especially in co-ed rooms. Easy to install easy to take off to wash - of course please wash curtains dont leave them on for ages assuming they dont get dirty. One bathroom per dorm room facility. The bathroom in our room was a shower/toilet so you had to make sure you had shoes or flip flops on everytime you went in as to not wet your feet/socks. Annoying especially at night. Also, this means that after the first shower, the bathroom is not disgusting with people's hair and whatnot all over the said room. Apparently other rooms have a better set-up which makes me feel extremely cheated. Staff was bothered when I asked questions, you get paid so pretend like you care a little. 4 bed apparently means 8 beds... I was very annoyed by this fact. Not the same.

It is an excellent budget hotel in a good location. The hotel has clean, airconditioned rooms which seem newly furnished. Although already a great deal for the money, somethings could be better : - wifi strength is low and sometimes unavailable inside rooms - there is no shower curtain (sometimes a problem, toilet papers get wet and one cant use foot towel) - no safe, no mini fridge inside the rooms

We felt very at home at the sweet Brilant apartment which is located in quiet neighborhood of Tirana about 25 minutes’ walk to the center. We stayed two days in this wide apartment which was very cozy and perfectly clean. The space is well managed. This apartment is an excellent reasonably pricing choice in Tirana. The kitchen is fully equipped and you can cook your meals by yourself if you like or to choose one of the restaurants near city center. And above all the hosts, Albana and her husband are really superb and helpful persons. They picked us from the airport, helped with money exchange buying local sim and unfortunate on the very last evening I broke down my arm, Albana and her husband took us to the hospital and made sure we are getting the best medical services. It is absolutely highly recommended choice in Tirana Thank you for everything

The hotel's location is quite good since within easy walking distance of Skanderberg Square, but the hotel is very small to where it seems almost claustrophobic. In terms of the room, it was clean, but since it is located in a busy area, you hear a lot of outside noise even with the windows closed. In addition, the internet connection was spotty and would routinely go in and out. The staff was friendly, but only a couple of them spoke good English. Overall, it's an alright hotel but nothing special.
