The hotel is close to the main square of Kalampaka, 15-20 minutes walking from the train station.And it’s just a basic hotel due to its low price. No elevator so if you come with luggages it will be not that convenient. The breakfast is ok and the staff is helpful. If you just want a cheap hotel for an overnight and you don’t have many requirements, it’s recommended.

Fantastic hotel with exceptional service, delicious breakfast and lovely people. The hotel is not very close to the center of kalambaka (20 min by foot), although the view to the meteora rocks is incredible. The owner is very helpful and nice. We had a pleasant stay in Apavlis Hotel and we hope to come back there!

The guesthouse house itself is antique and chic, with cozy room and nice view to Meteora. Breakfast is good especially the homemade jam, yuuuuuumy! The service is sweet.

Hotel with a good view. A bit far from the center, you'll need to walk or arrange your own transport. The owner of the hotel is nice. He would drop you off to the center when you check out if he's not busy. Clean and cozy.

This hotel is bit far from the town.But it's not the problem,if you like walking or rent a car.We booked one normal room and one big room.But they gave us three normal rooms.It was good for us.lnside the rooms was clean and tidy.I can rate this hotel nearly 10.But one thing that I didn't like is smell of the cigarette were remaining in the room.

Cosy family run hotel. Room is simple, but whatever needed is provided for, and they are particularly clean and hotel staff very hospitable. They serve such sumptuous breakfast that I need to take a video of the spread. Everything served tastes good. Do give this hotel a try the next time you visit.

We had a fantastic stay in beautiful Kalampaka at the Alsos House. The hotel had amazing views from the balcony and is located right next to the walking trail. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, and there is a well-stocked communal kitchen. Also, Yiannis the owner was so friendly and helped us to get a discount on a half-day tour around the monasteries!

Pros - beautiful, well appointed hotel with some of the most incredible views you will ever see from a hotel, great breakfast, very helpful staff. Cons - this hotel and location don't exist in my country.

Meteora is right in front of you when you look outside the window or balcony. Before arriving Kalambaka, we had no idea how to go to the monasteries. But when we checked in the hotel, the staff was very helpful and can advice how and when to have the best routes to visit Meteora. It's enough good to stay for several days. Stuff was so kind. Meteora is amazing.

The old lady host helped me find a cab driver. Room was clean. A walking distance to at least 2 monasteries.

1) It is a good hostel. There is a small snack area where you can make tea/coffee next to the dorms.
