Traveling to Jamaica? Find Westmoreland Parish hotels

I’ll prefice this review with i’m on vacation and simply want to relax and i do not want to complain about anything. Kudos to donovan (butler), poppy (bar), rory (buffett server). i’ve never been to a 4.5 star facility with so many broken equipment: Hot tub, hydrotherapy, refrig, etc... General lack of supplies: club soda 4 days, rum, limes, lemons, nachos, tea, etc... Rude and lack of follow up: if you want towels at 10am GL pool... “go get them yourself by hideaway the lifeguard was suppose to be here an hour ago”. there are many issues not cited including my request to discuss the service related issues with the GM, amazing. weirdest of all was the diamond clubs policy of upgrading non au natural guests to grand lido. 1) they don’t want to be naked 2) they are fairly vocal about not wanting to be naked 3) one small group went so far as to ridicule a au natural couple at the GL pool bar requiring security to intervene. ridiculous we won’t be back.

My wife and I spent 14 nights at the Royalton Negril and could find no faults with the hotel. All the staff were friendly and enquired frequently to see if we had any issues with our stay. We ate frequently in the Gourmet Marche restaurant which was excellent, we also tried the West Indian cuisine and Italian restaurant, both excellent experiences. You can have ice cream, hot drinks and sandwiches from the gelato in the main foyer as well as a late snack in the Score bar, whilst watching sport or playing pool. The entertainment may be geared to the younger traveller, but you can still listen to a local band whilst having a drink at the Martini bar. During the day you may snack at the pool bar area as well get a drink from the beach bar.The grounds are well manicured and the rooms are cleaned and replenished regularly. Hotel taxis are however expensive so best to get cheaper options outside the hotel. Car parking is superb and safe

We spent just one night but, it was one of the most perfect get-aways. My family was attending a sponsored fun day in Negril at a location close-by. We got to the hotel at least two hours ahead of scheduled check-in time. However, Latoya (the receptionist at the front desk) was so accommodating. She allowed us to check into our rooms despite being early and ensured that we got every single thing that we needed. It was a hot day and when we walked in our room was nice and clean with rose petals on the beds and the room had already been cooled. The pool was nice!! At dinner, the hostess (unfortunately, we missed her name) was so friendly and accommodating. She patiently waited while we decided over our orders. The food was plentiful! For breakfast the following morning we had a wide variety to choose from. It was very filling and our hostess, Princess was very warm and friendly. We will certainly be coming back again and will definitely recommend Rayon Hotel to our family and friends.

If your looking for peace and relaxation, CoCo LaPalm is your place! My wife and I just got back from our honeymoon there and we can't wait to return. Their friendly staff, garden-like grounds, and seemingly kid-free environment was just what we needed from our hectic lives. The CoCo restaraunt is kinda pricey, but very good...best red snapper by my wifes opinion. Make sure to get to the bar for happy hour between 5-7...2 for 1 is the best deal at hotel on drinks. We also loved the pools, the smallest being the best view of Negril sunsets. Overall we loved this hotel...it's clean, gorgeous, and on the beach. We can't wait to return!

They were able to accommodate our group in the same building with our atrium rooms right off the pool. The rooms were beautiful. The beach was sandy with clear water. Cocktail service on the beach. The food was amazing. Many included excursions like waterskiing, sailing, catamaran, snorkeling, scuba ... I can’t think of one negative comment. We can’t wait to go back.

Firefly was a great place to stay on Negril's beautiful 7-mile white sand beach. The property is beautiful, full of colorful flowers, and well maintained. The beach was lovely with provided chairs and the bar/restaurant right there. Food at the restaurant was delicious from breakfast to dinner. Rooms are all a bit different in layout. All very clean. The most superb element of Firefly Beach Cottages was the staff -- friendly, helpful, and ready to take care of guests. We've been going to Negril every few years for 35 years and this place was delightful.

We came to Jamaica for the second time and chose Riu Palace Negril because of location! Last year we stayed in another Riu Hotel, but didn’t like the sea bottom because it was covered with the seaweed! Here, the sea is amazing- crystal clear water, clean bottom! BUT the staff! They could have been more friendly and responsive! The most disappointing experience happened when I went to the gym! I forgot my water and while working out came to the water cooler, took the paper glass, poured some water and drank it! The next thing what happened was my biggest fear - it was not water, after that I noticed there was the notice on the cooler - do not drink! Yes, it was my bad, I didn’t pay attention and I was responsible for that! But who would put something like cleaning liquid in the bottle for cooler, except for water-where it is supposed to be water! But this is not what hurt me the most! Next, I rushed to the spa and asked the lady who worked there what was in the cooler, I wanted to know if that was something poisonous and if I had to take any medication or to see the doctor! She said that they were NOT responsible for gym and the water there! Then I reached the reception and asked for the manager, explained everything and she wanted to connect me to the spa because she said they were responsible for the water there, I rejected and after that she promised to call me back whenever she figured out the situation. Two hours passed and no one called! I called again, the manager was not there and I talked to another person and explained the same situation and he promised to call me back later! Nobody called the next day neither. I came the next day to the reception and the man told me it could have been the prank because no one would put any other liquid in the cooler and any notice on it as well. So was that funny? I don’t think so. Did I get any apology? Never.

We loved our stay here. We stayed for two weeks and I am wondering if this is unusual as the evening entertainment had the same shows on our second week. The staff are helpful and friendly. The dining options are plentiful and the food is nice. We booked and paid for the candlelight dinner on the beach. This was to celebrate a special occasion and although the ambience was lovely and it was a treat to have a personal butler, the pricing seemed a little high considering this is an AI hotel. But we did want to commemorate our celebration so all in all it was worth it. The beach is beautiful and there are plenty of canopied beds, sun loungers and pods. The children in our group loved the pools and the playground and the film nights. There are various activities during the day like painting, dance classes, volleyball matches, etc... and the Fitness gym is well equipped. The hotel is really a lovely place to stay.
