Great experience at Renaissance Okinawa”
It's a great experience spending Christmas time at Renaissance Okinawa. The room is clean and spacious with excellent seaview. We are greeted by very polite staffs whereever we go and the staffs are trying their best to provide service to us and being helpful where possible. My husband and I enjoy the food at the Japanese restaurant a lot, it is a fantastic experience at reasonable price. We are particularly happy to join the dolphin program in the morning during the winter time. We had the chance to interact with the Dolphins by giving instruction to them. The staffs are being very friendly and able to clearly explain the instruction to us in English. We will definitely come back for another stay during summer soon to try out more water activities. We have a great time at Renaissance Okinawa and highly recommend it to our friends and family.

Return visit”
The price is a bit steep, but the view is magnificent from the room. Very good atmosphere at the hotel and packed of activities. Restaurant is crowded and needs to wait for the table. I wish there will be more variety of choices for the buffet as the dishes are more or less the same compared to 3 years ago when I first visited. In general, the hotel is ideal for family with young children. Very warm and friendly resort.

The room is spacious and great ocean view . The breakfast in buffet or traditional Japanese are both great. Great place for those who are bringing their children for holidays . There are lots of famous destination along the road from the resort to the aquarium where you can stop by and take the photo stop.

Very nice hotel with good fecilities, specially hotel owns dolphin and Stingray, kid are very interesting to see those Seabed organisms, but everything need to pay additonal charge, like sun umberlla, chair, hotspring, this is a bit pity, the price is around us$350 which feel very uncomfortable to extra

Deplorable conditions for otter”
This review is mainly for the otter they have penned up. While the facilities though old were good and staff excellent, I cannot ignore the pitiful otter that is locked up in the tiniest pen with just a few body lengths of water available for swimming. Unacceptable. Anyone looking at it could see it was likely in distress repeatedly swimming the same pattern over and over and over.

I went with a my friend. It was almost good. But the room was little bit cold we requested to make out room get warm, but they couldn't do it. Except temp. everything was good. And I thought the resort is better family who has child than us.

Best place for family with young children”
Travelled with 7-year daughter and I was very satisfied with the children amenities and facilities. They offer 2 types of breakfast; american buffet style and Japanese set style (I prefer the latter.) This hotel is for family with young children but if you prefer relaxing and quiet travel, this is not the place.

the best indoor pool for unexpected weather condition. it opens as late as 10PM. other hotels usually have indoor pool close at night. casual eat out place near outdoor pool was easy and convenient for family with kids. highly recommended.

Good for young children”
Overall it was okay. Before I booked the hotel, I have contacted the reservation about booking the dolphin programme but learnt that it can only book when we check-in. However, we asked in the dolphin counter on the 1st day when we check-in and still could not get in any of the programme with the dolphin, my daughter was very disappointed. We booked this hotel because we would like to join the Dolphin programme. I think the hotel should consider letting customer to book online before they check-in.

Need to state clearly that Club Savvy is not part of this”
There is no stating that Club Savvy benefit is not available through Agoda booking though some reviewers did mentioned that they had enjoyed the benefit. We had cancelled on another booking thinking that the kids will enjoy the benefits of Club Savvy thus we booked for 3 nights here. To our horror Club Savvy benefits was not available to us and we have to pay everything in full price. When we spoke with the reception, their only response is that they can’t do anything and that we just have to pay for everything. Unfortunately for us, the stay kick off with the wrong foot. Purpose of this reviewed to inform others on this. But if you are not out for Club Savvy benefits (then I don’t know why you will be choosing this hotel???) then I guess the pro to this is that all the other staff are friendly.

Good hotel for family with children”
We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights and tried to book the Dolphin activities once we arrived but they were already full for all dolphin activities for the 2 days (except the viewing dolphin's yard). My child was very disappointed. Suggestion: The booking system for dolphin activities should be opened once we book the hotel. Overall we love the hotel.

Good service and facility hotel”
Thier service is good, the facility is really good, the most attractive is there are dolphins, which can play with. But I hope the dolphins are kept by them respectfully, not only use dolphins to earn money. The only unhappy thing is the cleaniness of the hotel room. There is a huge cockroach in my room! Even that cockroach could make some noisy sound which woke me up at the midnight, so you can imagine how BIG the cockroach is!

Great for young kids with an indoor and outdoor pool with water slides. Plenty of activities with dolphins, arts and crafts, boat trips, water sports, beach, trampoline, ping pong, etc. Decent options for dining.
