5 star resort for a 1 star price!!!”
This is an amazing resort with five star amenities but for a 1 star price. It was quite difficult finding this resort at first, but upon using the Waze app finding this hidden paradise turned out to be a breeze. Situated in the northern part of Cebu, this resort boasts of not only breathtaking views but luxurious amenities as well. I've been around the world and very recently been to the Maldives, but Resort Cebu was as just breathtaking. The pool was the cleanest pool I've ever swam in and the playground was one of the best I've ever seen. My three year old son had such a great time at the pool and playground that he claimed that he had as much fun in Resort Cebu as he did in Disneyland. And the staff! Very friendly people who always had a smile on their faces. I've never met such a friendly (and happy bunch) in all my excursions around the world. Amazing resort and amazing people makes Resort Cebu one of the best, if not the best (and cleanest) resort in the entire world. And the best part is it costs a mere 12 US Dollars a night!

Arrived at 12mn but they still accepted us. The bad thing was we were calling them for almost an hour. Good thing they posted their contact number in Facebook. The place is nice, clean and very cool. Supposedly checked out is 12nn pero hindi nila kami kinakatok or tinawagan na mag check out na hehe So na extend yong time namin hehe Thank you so much it was a nice place to chill with

Not well maintained but passable”
I checked in April 2022. The owner was very nice, accommodating, and warm. However, the place was not well maintained, maybe due to the aftermath of Storm Odette and the Pandemic. The pool is green with algae. The shower faucet is broken but the water heater works. I had to buy my own pail and dipper at the nearby merchandise store. The owner gave me an extra pail to use. The light switches and window locks are partially broken too. Overall, its kind of scary to stay for safety purposes at first, but nothing to worry about overall. The place can be improved.

No security features!”
Resort has no security features, no guards. We are ready to sleep with my boyfie but then one foreigner, the friend of the owner, opened our window from outside without us knowing and that's 10PM already!!!! That's the time that we knew that windows are broken and cannot be closed/locked and it can be opened from outside. My boyfie improvised a lock for it to be locked. I went to the reception area but there are no receptionists and the only people there was the one who opened our window and his one friend!!!! We would like to ask help but cant because the person who opened our window was the person in the reception area. It was supposed to be a quick vacation for the two of us but my boyfie got stressed out and cannot sleep the whole night because he will just wake up to see if someone opened our windows again. Also we paid for a big room advertised in agoda, but they gave us the small room. The big room was 900+ and the small room was 600+ we paid the 900+ but they gave us the 600+. Also, you need to bring foods from outside because they really do not have available foods onky hungarian sausages.

The Hotel is very dated, needed a lot of repairs and modernising. In my opinion it is suffering from years of neglect and dilapidation. For example, there were some cockroaches, the bathroom door had come out of its hinges leading to water leaking into the bedroom. The hotel needs a serious make-over and modernising

The room is very bad smell, ac is not working well and the heater on the shower is very horrible it will burn you skin in a sudden.. Very dirty pool Not recomended for vaca.

We came but no one at the reception we waited for long and call for someone but no one came. The place smell cat pee, all look abandon, not clean, green pool, feel unsafe place. Real waste of money, don't trust the pictures it's not updated.

Weekend Chill”
The place was ok, we had the whole pool as there weren't a lot of guests. However, our room's AC didn't function well. It was way too hot! We only had towels as opposed to promised toiletries which is suppose to be part of our room reservation. We had to buy our own soap and shampoo outside. There was no food that we can order too except pizza.

A Hidden Gem”
Resort Cebu is away from busy traffic and pollution of Cebu City. It is a very quiet place with a laid back atmosphere with an awesome inground pool. Two friendly dogs and a very friendly cat adds to the feel at home type of place. There is always regulars that come to happy hour and enjoy cold drinks and share there stories. Steve from America is an awesome person to talk to. Dale is a cool dude as well. Thomas the owner will go out of his way to make your stay memorable and enjoyable. Simon the handyman/ bartender will sure to keep your glass full and watch to see if your bottle is empty!!! Great guy to chat with! The rest of the staff ( 2 girls) which I’m not sure of there names are always ready to assist you with your needs cooking,laundry etc. etc. Now last but not least the two little girls that live on site will sure make your day with there bright smiles and there quirky attitudes. After being to several places in the Philippines I highly recommend staying at Resort Cebu. Thanks Thomas for everything Dave from Canada/Bro

NICE PLACE”
Nice Resort with a beautiful, big and always clean pool. They have a comfortable restaurant which serves very good & affordable food (I ate there once or twice a day almost everyday of my 10 night stay). There’s a nice bar area where you can almost always find a super friendly local ex-pat (or the owner) for fun & casual conversation. There is cheap/easy transportation right around the corner, but the owner was more than happy to assist with any issues or offer rides in the area if required. Thomas & Simon... sorry that you weren’t around when I checked-out, so that I could thank you personally for the hospitality you showed during my stay. My best to everyone there!!!

A lovely pool at least two metres deep at one end, and always a friendly conversation to be had at the bar. Not luxurious, but a clean, honest place with helpful employees and a likeable owner, Tomas (not sure if this is the correct Swedish spelling). The rooms with ensuite bath and shower are preferable as the single shared shower and toilet is accessible to people at the bar or dining area. Reasonably priced drinks and food available. I have stayed here twice now, and will happily drop by again when next in the area. P, United Kingdom
