The price is not high. And the room is so big, very clean, very comfortable. If I go to Jeju again I will stay in this resort for sure. It's the best for everything. Swimming pool is good the parking is easy to find. The room has kitchen and living room. The restroom is very big. The bed is very comfortable. Stay this hotel you will be very happy and great time in Jeju...The price is not high. And the room is so big, very clean, very comfortable. If I go to Jeju again I will stay in this resort for sure. My girlfriend had food poisoning in the middle of the trip, and on notifying mr jung, he immediately gave us a ride to the nearest hospital 20min away! as it was in the eary morning and the hospital was not open, he further drove us to another 24 hour hospital! there could be no better service then this. As my girlfriend was later given doses of medicine that made her drowsy and tired, we had to stay in a bit.. thankfully, the beautiful accomodation made staying in felt like such a wonderful vacation, and that we were not missing out on anything! Thank you Mr jung and family for the extended hospitality and I wish your establishment every success! will definitely recommend everyone with a rental car to stay here! 10 stars!

Good stay, but please note that this is close to Seongsan Peak and is out of the way for most other sights (Seopwipo recommended for centrality and convenience). We appreciated the fast check in and the kitchenette. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff will help if you require extra things. Note that this is a Korean owned and run resort and is not an international chain. Hence not all staff can speak English (some can. Some staff is able to speak Mandarin as well). Definitely a hotel to be considered if you don't mind it being not so centrally located, but quiet, clean, very good value for money and close to Seongsan Peak (for an early climb).

stayed here during my first 2 nights in Jeju. you MUST rent a car, because it is located right in front of the sea, far away from bus-stops/taxi stands. carpark right in front of hotel - free random parking in jeju everwhere. hotel is pretty secluded, so you will enjoy it if you like quiet surroundings. every room faces the ocean - the view from the room is gorgeous - ...stayed here during my first 2 nights in Jeju. you MUST rent a car, because it is located right in front of the sea, far away from bus-stops/taxi stands. carpark right in front of hotel - free random parking in jeju everwhere. hotel is pretty secluded, so you will enjoy it if you like quiet surroundings. every room faces the ocean - the view from the room is gorgeous - sunrise peak (seongsan ilchulbong) is on the far right so you can enjoy the sunrise from your balcony. breakfast was so-so. nearest town is about 5mins drive away, where they serve delicious seafood + bbq black pork (ask reception for recommendations). receptionists are probably the owners as well - a couple (wife named Kelly) + baby son. speaks minimal english but helpful, approachable nonetheless. we booked a room for 3ppl: 1 single bed + 1 queen sized bed. mattress was clean. has a small kitchen area with a table forming a partition between kitchen and living area. floor is non-carpeted. no slippers provided. main reason why i chose this hotel was because i wanted to go those attractions in the East. ~8min drive to Seongsan Ilchulbong ~15min drive to Seopjikoji coast ~30min drive to Manjanggul only downside is - faraway from the 2 bigger cities in Jeju: Jeju-si and Seogwipo most tourist attractions are in South of Jeju (Seogwipo + Jungmun), hence driving to these areas will take about ~1.5hrs overall, a pleasant stay at Areumdaun Resort.

Our stay in Gomangnandol Pension was only 4-5 hours. We checked-in around 12am and had to leave before 5am for sunrise viewing at Seongsan Ichulbong. The only con we experienced was that the shower temperature was really erratic. That was very disappointing especially when the weather outside was below 10 degrees. We checked-in very late and the owner managed to receive us after waking to the car brake screeches. However, this place may not be easy to find unless you drive or take taxi. Nonetheless, the pension is only 15 mins drive away from Seongsan Ichulbong peak.

Decided to stay at this resort as it's near Seongsan (6-7km away) and we planned to go Seongsan to see sunrise. You must have a car to stay here as there's totally nothing around the resort. Overall, this is more like a family resort place where most of the customers are Koreans. They have a common pantry at each floor where u can get water, cook small meals, etc. Room is huge and spacious. There's a double bed and a "tatami" bed on the attic. Overall clean room except that I spotted some dried blood stain on the quilt blanket. We have nothing much to eat for breakfast as we woke up late on Day 1 (630am to 9am). At 845, left only minimal Korean food..But if you're ok with having Korean food for breakfast, then you should be fine. Driving to other attractions at the west coast takes more than 1 hour. We drove from Lotte Hotel area to the resort for around 1hr 40mins. Overall, stay at this resort if you want have a car and ok to drive far (min. 30 mins) to visit other attractions apart from those on the East Coast of Jeju.

Staff are helpful and caring - you can feel from all tiny areas they put into the hotel service eg. the Psalms & Proverbs little booklets displayed/offered to customers.
