Great value, free wifi, free use of bicycles,free breakfast. Room cleaned every day. Friendly staff. Couldn't recommend this place enough. I'll certainly be back.

Exceptional”
RETRO Twin Home is a lovely, small and very comfortable place to stay. The owners are enormously kind and generous. My partner was bitten by a dog the day we arrived when we were walking around town (the dog had nothing to do with the guest-house!), and the manager drove us to the hospital himself and looked after us both whilst she was being treated. Would definitely stay here again if in Mae Sot.

I have spent over five years living and working in Thailand, travelled all over the country, and RETRO in Mae Sot was one of the best experiences in terms of value for money. Simple accomodation, but very clean and friendly staff. It would be interesting to see it after few years if the owner manages to maintain the standard.

Nice and clean little guesthouse in Mae Sot! Perfect place for resting for a few days. Big room with a balcony, bathroom and AC. A basic breakfast is also included in the price which is great. Would recommend!

We stayed here one night, before going to Myanmar, but could have stayed with pleasure at least one more night! The room was very comfortable and the bed was really good. The clean bathroom and the friendly staff made it complete. It's a bit in between the border and the bus station, so maybe not that convenient to reach.

Booked it because it was one of the cheapest places in Maesot with breakfast included. Very basic room, clean, spacious. Nice living room and friendly owner. Basic breakfast (powder coffee, toast, pork porridge). In the end not worth 12€ in my opinion

The room was very simple and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Considering the price it met my expectations. The only downfall may be the location as it is a little far from the center of everything.

Quiet location. The ground floor bedroom has no window. It is not indicated in the description. The microwave oven is in a terrible state. Cleaning or replacement is necessary. Friendly boss speaks English but does not wear a mask (Covid 19). You must have your vehicle (off-center).

Terrible experience, no WiFi, horrible unfriendly ignorant staff”
Never book this place, absolutely horrendous experience beyond your worst nightmare! No WiFi, ignorant unfriendly staff, barely speak a word of English, power kept going off, mosquitos everywhere, took 5 hours, yes 5 hours to get upgraded after moving rooms twice because of no WiFi and the ignorant staff had zero idea of how to deal with the situation! Again, never ever book this horrendous place!

A great little place”
I went to Mae Sot for a visa run and stayed 2 nights in a single room with a twin bed, which was the perfect size for just me. It was very clean with all the necessities provided. The jok for breakfast was delicious, and toast, crackers, and coffee/tea were available at all times in the lobby. It's 15 minutes walking to Robinson and 20 to a couple of different markets. I definitely intend to stay here the next time I have to cgoto Mae Sot.

I love this place”
I've stayed here 2 times now, and as long as the room is available, I'll definitely stay here any time I pass through Mae Sot. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. When I arrived early for check-in and without enough money, they held my bags while I went to the bank and then cleaned the room so I could check in early. There are always snacks and drinks available in addition to breakfast in the morning. The location is quiet, but it's about 20 minutes walking to Robinson shopping centre and 30 minutes to a fresh food market. My only complaint would be that there's only 1 single room.

Perfect place to sleep”
Great place for our stop in Mae sot, everything was great, perfect value for money. One small suggestion, reserving more space and seats for the breakfast and buffet would be great. It was just a bit cramped and not easy to help oneself with the food and drinks.

Absolutely amazing owner”
The owner is such a nice guy who really helped me a lot. And the room was let's call it special. The owner even told me he also ownes a restaurant where they serve western food, because it isn't that easy to find a restaurant in Mae Sot where they can tell you what they have on the menu. Even though you might be as adventurous as me, the restaurants in Mae Sot aren't happy to see a stranger trying their food. And the room was let's call it special. The promised balcony turned out to be a window facing the hall way. But all in all absolutely fine for one night.

Comfortable hotel, friendly, helpful staff. Excellent value at 350THB per night. The hotel is not well known and first time visitors would do well to take a taxi-meter to get there; tuk-tuks and motorbikes struggle to find it.
