Helpful staff perfect location ”

Awesome hotel with great staff. Front desk helped to keep our luggage without check-in, so that we can check-in late at night (after 11:00pm) after sightseeing. The staff are very helpful. Easy to get around with main street within walkable distance. (less than 10min) Also,easy to grab a cab or get on tram in case you dont prefer to walk. Good deal overall

Good stay at Richmond hotel ”

Comfy stay and cozy price ..... The hotel is located at quiet zone and walk distance to 天文館 within 7-10mins and 15mins to port. Staff are nice and breakfast is good. Though parking is a bit trouble if hotel’s parking lots are full. We need to park at other parking and walk 5 mins to hotel. U can also walk 7-10 mins to dolphin port for meal and mekkemon sushi taste yummy . Don’t miss it.

Convenient location, close to shopping area”

Tram station right in front of the hotel. 10 minutes walk to aquarium and ferry pier to Sakurajima. Hotel room is clean and cozy. Hotel staff are friendly. There is also coin laundry on the 6th floor.

Staffs and Location is Excellent”

All staffs are very helpful, especially Mr. A. YAMASHITA. YAMASHITA San speaks very good English and he tried very hard in helping us booking a table for that Saturday dinner. He checked and called several restaurants but non of them are available. After successful reservation, he called a taxi for us and make sure the driver knew where to drop us. We really appreciate his kind assistance. Breakfast in the hotel is also very impressed. Besides the normal buffet tray, Each of us could also order 1 a-la-carte hot dish. We love the hot dish very much. Just spend about 5 minutes to walk to the closest shopping street. If you are coffee lover, Lime Light Coffee House is highly recommended.

This is the best hotel I have ever live in Japan”

I recommend this hotel and willing to come again. Everything is great! The staffs, hygiene, room size, room facilities, etc. Only two things deduct a bit score: 1) there are bus stop and tram nearby but not JR. And there will be no transport after 10pm. 2)the ventilation in toilet is a bit weak, I can’t dress up after bathing since there are too much steam

Nice breakfast ”

Great breakfast, you can order some food from the kitchen that is brought to you and there is a small but nice buffet! Restaurant is not that big although inviting. The hotel it self is not the newest, but the rooms are updated (the bathroom most likely not updated, could use a new touch), the bed is comfortable and the location is good with just a walking few min away from the harbour.
