Loved our stay at the Richmond Hotel Yokohama Bashamachi. Hotel was modern and stylish in a subdued way with welcoming and helpful staff. Very clean. Buffet breakfast, mainly Japanese, was in newly opened restaurant in hotel which had a good range of options . Bashamachi street area was very pleasant area to stay with numerous eating options and close enough to many attractions. Transport options also good.

Richmond Hotel Bashamichi is in a great location, close to great restaurants and bars. The train stations are very close and convenient. The staff at The Richmond is very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are very clean and has everything you need. I always have a great stay there. Will return soon.

Fantastic stay great location lovely staff. The only small issue was I paid extra for a 28m2 room and it was more like a 21m2 but we were hardly there so was not really a problem.

the location was great, we can easy to find and you can find many restaurant nearby. Room was clean with free wi-fi. We are appreciated Richmond Group. This is the one of the Japanese hotel group I wonder stay again.

Convenient hotel with good service and price”
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Richmond. We found th hotel to be within reasonable walking distance to China town, the seafront, and Minato Mirai area. The staff at the reception were especially helpful! Many thanks again to the hotel team!!

Room is small, but service is good”
I booked a 2 rooms and stayed 1 night in this hotel. The room is small (though it is considered ok with tokyo standard) but decent with necessary facilities. It is also very clean and tidy. Location is ok, a few minutes walk from Kannai JR station which is 1 station from china town (supposed to be the biggest china town in japan)and 2 stations from Yokohama. There seems to be quite active night life around the hotel, which is not very good for family like us.

Comfortable hotel in nice area”
nice hotel situated in yokohama's chinatown. staff is very helpful. rooms are "western size" so not as cramped as the average japanese room. room rates via agoda seem fair. there's a thai restaurant in the hotel and plenty of other restaurants, shops, bars and coffee shops in the hotel's direct surroundings. this was my second stay and i will be certainly be back for a third.

very polite staff who spoke fluent english. they were very apologetic as our room wasn't ready for us when we arrived. wasn't a problem as i'd made the reservation less than an hour before on my pc. nice clean room. great location. will def return to the hotel.

Great location if you are traveling by train as hotel is only two minutes walk. It is a ten minute walk to the famous Chinatown, which is well worth visiting. Lots of competition so cheap to eat there.There are some museums and historical war sites eg, foreign. soldiers cemetary etc. It was a bit surprising that so few staff spoke English considering it is quite a large hotel.Nevertheless, they were very polite and helpful.
