It was our honeymoon, and maaan RIU REGGAE came throooouuughhhhh. We got a room upgrade, with complimentary treats and beverages. Staff was amazing! Nesta, Odane, Stephanie, Shanell, Jolene etcccc BIG UP UNU SELF!! Food great! Entertainment was bomb afff. The BEST hotel entertainment I've experienced! and I'm a local, I can't imagine tourists! AN OVERALL EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE! THANK YOU!

The staff is amazing! The food is good, the main bar is 24 hours it was very clean but there is no 24 hour place to eat or get room service…. If you come back from the club at 4am you have to wait til the morning for restaurants to open or take a taxi off the resort! If you could order jerked chicken and fries to your room this would have been the ultimate 5 star experience to me! I booked through here and there wasn’t even a deposit at check-in which is great because it makes you more inclined to leave bigger tips! The vibe is the really good and the on property night club dancehall/afrobeats was lit because it’s for 3 different properties!

We were a party of 10 from (3) three U S. states. Food was plentiful with an abundance of choices including 4 restaurants. I'm not a drinker but the bar(s) provided a plethora of non-alcoholic drinks. The nightly entertainment at the RIU Reggae Stage was phenomenal. Will definitely visit again

It killed me to leave. This place was a dream. Clean, welcoming, and fun, Riu Reggae is big enough to have fun exploring, but small enough to feel at home. Food is delicious. In non-Covid times, there are many good restaurants to choose from for dinner, but for now, just one is open each night. Activities and programming were fun, staff was polite and efficient, and there were always plenty of things to do, even if you didn't go on an excursion. Only cons I can think of: music in pool area can be unbelievably loud. Same with stage area in the evenings. The sand is more gravelly than soft. Swimming areas are small.

Great trip for quick getaway ”
If you want a hassle free relaxing trip, book your stay here. The staff are amazing people. Make sure to tip well, they’re good hearted people that made my trip more than what I could imagine. I barely needed to leave the resort for anything outside of my excursions, which I was able to book at the resort. Food was decent but you do have plenty to choose from. Pool parties were LIT. You also get to walk over to the other two riu hotels which are right next door. I will be coming back very soon. Love.

Friendly staff, always making sure you are ok. Quick to assist with anything you need. Clean facility. Covid protocols observed and enforced. Relaxing atmosphere. Wi fi and RIU app to find your way around. Digicel and Flow doesn't pick up well in the room though. All in all, everything was great!

The food is just okay”
It's not bad, I just was tired of it after the second day.. The jerk hut chicken is a hit and miss..I ordered Uber eats for the remainder of my stay.. Don't look for lobster at this resort. And the shrimps they do serve is over cooked.

Everything was exceptional at RIU Reggae. The food was great, the drinks were delicious, the staff was friendly, skilled and knowledgeable, and the location can’t be beat. I can’t recommend this place enough for someone looking for an adults-only all-inclusive resort.

Wonderful Escape from Covid Life”
I had an amazing time at RIU and have suggested the resort to nearly everyone that I've talked to since I came home. They went above and beyond to make sure things were safe and that guests could still have fun, remain distanced and live life freely again. The absolute worst part of the whole trip was the front desk manager named Christobal, who was disrespectful, rude and demeaning to me and my friend when she tried to check in. His comments reeked of sexism and he was a disgrace to the RIU staff. The manager Ms. Mattis did everything in her power to make it better, however he was a dark shadow on the trip. The rest of the trip was wonderful and I highly suggest a trip to RIU Reggae!
