L'Oasi perfetta”

Situato sulla tranquilla spiaggia di Talipanan, il resort, costruito interamente in legno, è un luogo tranquillo e rilassante e si fonde con l'ambiente circostante. La spiaggia è molto bella. L’ambiente è accogliente e la camera deluxe era bella e spaziosa. Il cibo era ottimo e sia i proprietari che il personale sono stati molto gentili e disponibili,. Lo consiglio vivamente per chi vuole avere una vacanza piacevole e tranquilla.

Chissà il peggior ''resort'' delle Filippine”

Sono venuto sull'isola con la mia fidanzata filippina e abbiamo soggiornato in un altro resort, ma per lavoro, lei e' dovuta tornare a Manila un giorno prima. Alla fine ho deciso di rimanere un gg in più, mentre cercavo su Booking e Agoda una sistemazione più economica di dov'ero, ho trovato Amami. Dista poco da dove soggiornavo prima, quindi prima di pagare tramite app, ho deciso di andare a visitarla e vedere se e' buona. Prima di tutto e' un po' difficile trovarla, poi una volta arrivato alla reception, mi trovo un po' di filippine e qualche italiano. Ma nessuno e' venuto incontro a darmi il benvenuto e quindi non sapevo nemmeno a chi rivolgermi, senza che per sbaglio scambi un cliente per un impiegato. Una volta che ho capito chi era la ragazza della reception, gli ho detto quanto costa una notte in loco. Mi disse un prezzo 2/3 di più di quello che avevo trovato su Agoda. Quindi gli dissi che avrei fatto la prenotazione su la app. Lei mi rispose che non puo' essere cosi economico e

Great common area, great staff, and great WiFi!”

This is a great place for those who want to stay away from crowded Sabang or White Beach. The resort is next to Talipanan Beach, a relatively quiet place in PG. They have super comfy common areas with fan, sofa, and outdoor seating area with perfect setting for resting or working. The room is spacious and clean; I love their soft yet supporting mattress. There is no AC in the room, but it does not matter as we had 2 fans and the room is actually quite airy. The staff are friendly and helpful (especially Melody, thank you!). They have "outstanding" wifi that I can even watch Fox+ with HD quality. The restaurant serves good food with reasonable price. Their neighbor provides a bit cheaper room and food, but overall I think Amami provides excellent quality and service of the price. Definitely will stay here again if I visit Talipanan Beach again.

FEEL AT HOME & W/ NATURE”

We are just so stress with our work and decided to book this place . Pros& (Cons): 1. It is near the beach Literally. (but can't swim at night because it is too dark) 2. Friendly Staff (they even tour us around in Mangyan tribe/falls for free) 3. you can pay using Debit Card (the nearest ATM is one ride away) 4. you can walk until white beach ^^ (but only in dayight haha goodluck in night time) 5. Or just ride tricycle (but a bit pricey) 6. Food is really good (I gain weight actually because of that haha) 7. They have buy 1 take 1 for cocktail and Margaritas (We're drunk most of the time) 8. Hot Water is works perfectly 9. They have reading area (but mostly Italian books haha can't even read that so bring ur own) 10. you will feel like your one with Nature (But you will met a lot of insects at night haha) 11. They have cute swings, chairs & paintings that is soooo good for Photos But overall we really enjoy our stay, hope to be back next time with more improvements <3

I love all of Amami's properties...my home away from home!”

I honestly enjoyed every part of my stay; from the rooms, the extraordinary food, private/exclusive gatherings, to the super attentive and friendly staff. They really made me feel like family my entire stay and showed genuine concern for my well-being and requests. The owner Fabio and manager Rebecca were awesome hosts; we stayed up til the wee hours just talking and having fun. Loved it! Asides from the weather at times....Absolutely nothing! Hell, even the rain was a delight because i was able to hang out with the other guests and staff while enjoying food and drinks. So in that case, it was perfect! I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else when visiting Puerto Galera; I love it here and can't wait to get back!

The place is awesome and has that relaxing vibe. Would definitely come back again. We love everything except the mini ref that doesn't seem to be functioning at all. Great value for money. Clean and environment-friendly. My kids enjoyed the snorkelling activity

Weekend Fambam”

Stayed here for 3D2N with the whole fam of 7 (my parents included) and we enjoyed that it’s near the beach. Staffs are friendly and accommodating. Food in their restaurant is a bit pricey but really delicious. Will definitely go back here if we happen to plan another travel to Puerto Galera. Thanks Amami Beach Resort!

Friendly staffs”

Staff Heaven was so accomodating. We needed iron, needed our breakfast packed on the go for we needed to leave early, and entertained us woth our other needs. We booked seaside view, but they assigned us to a garden extension resort, after they confirmed our reservation and complain, they assigned us to a conducive place.

Great place to relax!!!”

My second visit here in Amami resort, it is surprisingly the most cute little place in talipanan, Puerto Galera. The food is amazing and the staff very friendly. You have you own private beach beside it. I will definitely recommend it. Thanks Amami Team!!!

Casual stay with very warm staff ”

We visited for my husband 40th birthday, the Staff were very kind and tried to make everything possible. They help me to ordered customized decor ballons and special dinner with Italian chef. It made us very awesome staying. The beach was nice and very quiet. Thank you for the amazing hospitality

Amami beach resort is a good place to chill and have some alone time or with your special someone. It is best at night and have some drinks and chill with some music. If you want to visit White beach, it’s also not that far. I will recommend this place and definitely will comeback 👍🏼

A great escape”

Originally booked this this place because it was by the beach, ended up being more than that. The staff were very welcoming and accepted the request we had because we came in a lot earlier than expected. They even allowed us for early check-in, it was supposedly 3:00 pm but we're already checked in by 12:00 noon. The place was nice, we wanted a place where we can enjoy the beach and have some peace and quiet from the busy life in Manila and it gave us all of that. Not much people to enjoy the beach, no party scene to enjoy the tranquility of the place. The food was nice as well, and also the breakfast was great. The bonus, the place was were picturesque. My friend and I weren't planning on spending the first few hours having an impromptu pictorial. But we did, and it was awesome. We'll be back for a longer stay next time and we'll make sure to recommend this place to our friends.

Amazing resaurant, brilliant owners and staff”

This resort is located in a quiet area of Puerto Galera, on Talipanan beach. Even though the rooms are regular beach bungalows, the owners make the place truly special. They are super friendly and helpful, always willing to answer questions and make suggestions. Additionally, the food offered at Amami is fantastic. The Italian restaurant run by the resort is just brilliant. This was probably the best food I have eaten during my entire stay in the Philippines. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

A quiet and safe beach for sunbaking or swimming, a small number of chalets built in quasi Filipino style and a good restaurant serving mostly Italian and western with a small selection of Filipino food. Friendly and helpful staff and a lovely place to stay for relaxation. reccomend!

Great crew of committed owner and staff ”

Usually i do not write reviews. I made an exception because I was absolutely astonished about such an excellence of service. This is a team that makes you genuinely fell at home. Great ideas and suggestions about what to do. Absolutely no pressure to take one or the other service or tour. At this price point the facilities are absolutely superb. Yes, having stayed at $700 hotels I might not be the typical customer. While there are obviously difference in the facilities, none of these establishments has offered me such a warm home as the Amany crew did. Cheers Andreas .

Great little spot”

My friend found this place and it is very good! So nice to swim on not crowded beach in summer. There is a real Chef in the kitchen and the food is awesome and reasonable. Room is functional and comfortable though it could use another outlet. Vibe is comfortable and friendly. I would stay here again, no question. Can walk to road to catch transport to White Beach.

Overall, the stay was good. It's located away from the noisy Puerto Galera crowd but is near enough if you want to go party. The food was good and the room was very quaint. The staff are very attentive and friendly. I would definitely go back.
