Comfortable two night stay”

Stayed here for two nights and enjoyed it. Nice quiet section of the beach. 24 hour food and drinks. And credit card was accepted. Just the location was a bit off. And not much other eating restaurant options at all in the island. Small but comfy room with powerful aircon. Massage near the pool is also provided although a bit overpriced for what it is.

Great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff and on a more quite part on the island, Still only a quick trike ride to anywhere you would want to visit. The food here is excellent and the rooms are very nice for hotel in the Philippines. We were on the 3rd floor overlooking the ocean and view was awesome. Highly recommend this hotel.

Location is not the best, but if you want rest and peace, Badlatz is the place! You can cook BBQ for free, there's a wonderful area in front of the sea, a pool, a nice restaurant and a bar. Rooms are great as well.

A stay to relax your weary soul”

We had our stay here for two nights. The resort is more of a family resort because its so homey. It is excellently maintain and manage by the owner. The food here is nothing to compare with. They serve fast and fresh. All staffs are kind and very approachable. we almost give up touring the puerto galera and stay here because its so relaxing. It's just a bit of travel from here to white beach so if ur into party and everything, this wont be the best for you. but if u r looking a place to rest your weary soul and relax, then you have found the right place!

If you are looking for a place where you can just chill all the time, clear your mind, enjoy the ocean view, and listen to the waves, Badladz beach resort is just perfect. The staff is friendly and accommodating; special thanks to Sherwin and Mhary who made sure that our stay is flawless. Such place is something that I and my hubby will forever remember. We will definitely come back. And oh, by the way, the food is delicious and their serving is more than enough for an average person. 😊

Great hotel with fantastic staff and clean and comfortable rooms. I have only 2 complains but they are minor. One is wifi in rooms is non existent but, that can be a plus as I had to go to bar/restaurant area to check email and internet and I did not spend much time in the room. The other problem I had was being charged 10p for a bucket of ice. Nominal charge to be sure but, that is kinda nickle and diming a hotel guest. I do recommend this hotel highly.

Badladz is an extremely well run small hotel in Puerto galera which offers western standards but keeps its philippino qualities. All the staff that work there speak good English and are great with all aspects of there job. 10 mins drive from Puerto Galera town proper, 5 mins drive to nearest town with supermarkets and 15 mins drive to white beach. Food was also great at a reasonable price. Best accommodation that we have stayed in after 6 weeks of travel in the philippines.

Stayed November 2019 This is without doubt the most professionally run place I have stayed at in twelve years of travelling around South East Asia. Staff, food, and ambiance are excellent. Beach isn't Boracay but is perfectly adequate and the swimming pool is fine. Owners attention to detail is admirable and makes you feel very safe and looked after. Will definitely return but hey Sean, get some less upright chairs in the dining room!

Excellent Customer Service, Relaxing Getaway ”

If you're looking for a "happening place" where it's noisy and it's packed with tourists and everyone is just having a party, this is not the place for you. Badladz is at Tabinay Beach (about 30mins away from White Beach or Sabang Beach), and doesn't really have pristine immaculate white sand. Then again, a resort with BOTH an in-property pool and access to the beach barely 20 steps away (literally in front), it's a no-brainer to choose this place. If, like us, you are looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway, where you can just lay your tired bodies on a hammock reading a book and drinking ice-cold beer while zoning out because of the relaxing sound of the waves rushing to the shore (again: just 20 steps away from you), then choose this resort. If you're figure-conscious and on a diet, stay away from its restaurant...because ITS FOOD IS CRAZY DELICIOUS. Servings are huge for the price, so feel free to share with your companion. Don't forget to order the halo-halo or the frozen margarita. Yum. The staff and crew are nothing but nice, polite and very accommodating. They will go out of their way to ensure that your [reasonable] requests are met, and that you have a good stay. Macy, Anne, Stephanie and Dianne were just some of the stellar crewmembers. When you book, ask for a room facing the beach. And while you're at it, book a relaxing massage from their in-house spa. It'll be so worth it. Definitely coming back to stay here.

First, beware of the sharks at he Manila Airport and Batangas Pier on your way to Badlanz in Puerto Galera. Do Not be scammed. Make sure you pay only 2500 to 3000 pesos in Total from the airport to Pier. Make sure the driver pays all tolls himself. Make this clear to him from the beginning and DO NOT pay him till you reach your destination. At the Pier watch out for the hustlers who will attempt to grab your luggage and tell them to bugger off. They will all want a tip for helping with your bags, They work together scamming you so don’t be fooled Now, about the resort itself, Badlanz Beach Resport is very nice. It is a short 40 pesos ride from the ferry landing ( Muelle Pier). It has a very nice secluded beach approx 1/2 km long. Great for swimming or walking .The food at the resort is very good. Pool is a nice feature. Wifi only available in the restaurant and close to pool which is inconvenient Get a room facing the ocean as the interior rooms are small and windowless,

Great place to relax and enjoy with family”

Pros: the staff are very helpful. Maylene and Sean the owners will really make you feel your welcome and very attentive to the needs of their guests. My toddler son and nephew loves the pool so much. We'll definitely come back.

The rooms were average but who spends the day in the room when you are at a tropical beach? The food and service were awesome. The owner is so quality conscience and friendly. I would recommend this place for couples but might be a bit far away from the city for families with young children.

Amazing staff, great food and beautiful location”

As soon as you arrive you feel welcome and the great and happy staff make you feel home and relaxed. The resort has a long beautiful beach direct outside the door and big pool. The rooms are good and you have a nice view from the balcony. I strongly recommend the food, there mexican menu are very good. Just 5 minutes away you have the small town Puerto Galera with shops and small resturants. If you go 15 minutes you have beautiful White beach with lots of bars and resturants. I will defently come back here again.

Great quality and service low cost hotel”

It was a place recommended to us by the PGYC where we were doing a weeks sailing course. Bit apprehensive as the resort was only 2 stars and the week stay including breakfast was the price off 1 nights stay in any city hotel. Checked out the rave reviews and booked it. From the moment we arrived we were looked after, bags taken from the trike to our room. Smiling happy and cute staff every where. Just a fun place to stay. Choice of I think 8 different breakfasts included and all freashly made. The only thing being a big lad is that the rooms could of been a few inches bigger. Watch out for the daily grass cutting ceremony .....

The location is good for dating couples, No internet connection in respective rooms, it is only available at the lobby, Breakfast is very good but limited, Parking and driveway is not accessible at the time of our visit, Beach is clean but not as white sand.

PROS 1. Staff are the best and are all really friendly and very attentive. 2. Food is good in their restaurant. CONS 1. Its 2019 guys and theres still no cable and wifi connections in my room. They advertised free wifi but the connection in the restaurant area is SOOOO SLOW i would like to throw my gadget because of disappoinment. My friend who travelled with me and works from home cant even send messages via email and FB messenger. Its time to at least invest more in your restaurant wifi if you cant even provide wifi in the rooms. 2. Rooms are outdated. The restaurant and the rooms are very dark even when you turn on all the lights. The beach front area too is so dark at night. They should put lighting in the beach area during night time. 3. There are no flat iron in the rooms. They dont have one even if you request for it.

Lovely to visit again”

This was our 5th time staying at Badladz and the first time at the newly renovated Badladz Beach Resort. The friendly staff along with the owners Sean and Mylene and the excellent chef have again made our stay a wonderful, relaxing experience and we know we will return here again and would highly recommend Badladz to our friends and other guests. The quiet location, but still easily accessible to the delights of Puerto Galera make this a great choice for any size groups or solo travelers. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and well maintained and the peaceful views from the front deck or lawn across Verde Passage are a delight at any time and when the small fishing boats are visible in the distance. The swimming pool is great for the kids and the semi-private beach is only a few steps away. A great place to recharge your batteries or disappear into the night and visit White Beach or Sabang. Thanks again Sean and Mylene for a wonderful time.....we will return.
