Very impressed! Staff and apartment were fab.”
Very impressed with the apartment and the all staff we encountered were just so lovely, friendly and helpful yet efficient. Its was our first stay at CityStop but won't be our last - we booked this as we were struggling to find a reasonably priced room anywhere else (Travelodge would have been twice the price for the 4 of us) as unbeknownst to us it was the Manchester Marathon. It is in a great location for the Northern Quarter, any noise from outside the pubs opposite is drowned out when the living space windows are closed plus the bedrooms were on the inner side so no noise at all there. It was fun to people watch for a while and not a bad thing at all but perhaps might put others off. We had no trouble though. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed but a tea towel (none of knew how to use the dishwasher!) Highly recommended and big shout out again to the fab staff!

Fantastic value for money, great location”
Had a great stay at the apartment, great location, so central and close to the train station. It was a bit noisy in the lounge but was quiet in the bedroom which was great. The staff we spoke with were also fantastic and really helpful. Would stay here again

One night out in Manchester ”
Me and my friend booked this apartment to stay over for one night in Manchester. It is ideally located opposite the printworks and close to the exchange bars. Keep this in mind though if you want a quiet nights sleep (probably not going to happen!). The staff where very helpful and polite. For the small amount we paid we could not believe how much we got tbh! Kitchen/living room, bathroom, utility room and then a master bedroom upstairs with double bed (there’s a futon bed in living room also). It wasn’t 5* standard and could do with an update but for the price it was more than worth the money!! Oh, and we had 3 rolls of toilet roll 😂

Fantastic”
This was my 2nd time of stopping here and the apartment 1st time was far superior but it was a bigger group (6) this time there was 4 of us and it overlooked printworks. Nothing wrong with the apartment although could have done with more milk. The downside was the noise from the pubs in I’d stay again but request a room further back we were in apartment 28.

Perfect location - ideal for a group”
The apartment was open and roomy. It was ideal to go with a group. We could have drinks and play pool in the apartment comfortably. And once we were ready the print works was accross the road!

The place was tired, the balcony we had wanted was locked so couldn’t use it. The windows didn’t shut properly so it freezing cold and very noisy. Not happy at all, we checked in at 1am and left at 6am as we couldn’t sleep

A very long night”
Front door looked like it had been punched and was cracked. Balcony door broken and didn’t shut properly. Floor had dried in pizza on and sofa had chewing gum stain. Location is opposite a Wetherspoons and the print works, so expect the following: people arguing, fighting, urinating and throwing up in the alley which runs below the apartment. Don’t expect to get any sleep as this goes on until 6:30am!!

The noise from outside was in unbearable, tv didn’t work and wouldn’t move us. Very disappointing

Not a nice stay”
Read a few reviews about the cleanliness and smell thought nothing of it until we got there. Not a nice place. Really strong smell of marijuana

Incredibly noisy and not up to standard”
Awful location, being directly above Walkabout club (I felt as if I were inside the club until closing at 3). Every door in the building slams shut, with people too incompetent to shut them softly (I barely slept). Amazed that the mezzanine bedroom space looked as if it hadn’t been hoovered. Sadly, the bathroom was worst for wear with cracks in the sink and tiles which isn’t the best first impression. I didn’t expect the hotel apartments to be in the same building as a ‘Gentleman’s club’, which was quite a shock on arrival. On arrival, the property stank of cannabis, so I can not justify the price paid. Regardless, the staff accommodated my late arrival and gave me the relevant instructions to locate my key.

Amazing place for a city break”
The apartment itself was huge. Massive bathroom (with bath) lovely bedroom with extra pillows and a duvet if needed. Large kitchen, living room which was also great. Only negative was that it gets pretty noisy around 6pm onwards. We stayed on a saturday. But it is opposite the printworks, where there's loads of bars and they give you a loyalty card for them. That said we went out on the Saturday night which is why we picked the location so the noise wasn't at all an issue!
