This is my 3rd time in Dreamwave and I can say that the service is consistent. The staff are attentive and curteous. I made a feedback before about the water flow but I didnt have the same issue now so they might have address the issue. Kudos!

Value for money”

Considering that the establishment is really a beach-front hotel, you can really get the most of the price of the accommodation. A lot of nearby places to eat, drink, and buy stuff. A lot of nearby activities to try.

Hotel needs to be upgraded. Everything looks crap. Dirty toilet, dirty windows , everything is dirty. Small toilet/bathroom, bedsheet doesn't cover the whole bed. Decorations doesnt match anything. . Just ridiculous. Old, creepy and dirty hotel.

Clean room with beach view”

I did not notice the room did not have a TV when booking. The room was on the second floor with a belcony and had nice view of the water. Nice small diving pool in the back. Breakfast consisted of two cold hard boiled eggs and Chinese rice soup having no taste only from 7 to 8,am. Second day no breakfast told the Chef was off duty. Ask if he was the only person who could boil water and reception desk girl just looked at me. Later complained to the manager he did not know the chef was off. No explation. Only thing negative was the lack of a proper breakfast as advertised and a TV.

Bun”

There is no towel when we arrived at the room. There is no hot water for the shower. No kettle in room to boil water. Almost 4 hours of travel from Manila City to Puerto Galera, the travelling time is not worth it.

Fantastic”

I booked this hotel last Feb. 18-19, 2019. It is almost perfect. I was just disappointed with their water supply as well as the bathroom. I needed to contact their front desk to ask about their water supply. It was quite a hassle on our part.

Relaxing Weekend”

Love the location. Not crowded. It was a pretty decent place. Though the room was small and it was a bit smelly esp the bathroom. Needs some renovations. Booked a superior room. Totally no signal in the room. Food is so-so. The staff was great! Overall it was still a good experience.

Had a Nice Experience”

I was traveling alone to Puerto Galera when I booked this hotel. It is easy to find as it is located on the beach front. I arrived at around 5:30 PM but the room is not yet ready so I had to wait for a few minutes. The room was very spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. They also serve delicious breakfast so I have no complaints on this. Cable TV signal was not stable as there were times that the TV gone out of channels to watch. Same with other hotels, wifi signal is only at the restaurant/lobby area. Nevertheless, I had a nice stay in this hotel!

Best Location and Staff”

I love that the location is just right on the beach. Few steps from my room is the verenda overlooking the white sand beach. The staffs are very approachable and curteous. I've been to other hotels but this is the first time i've seen a uniformed guard made me feel safer. I was just surprised that they close the front door at night and I need to go to the side entrance. My room is comfortable and they provide basic toiletries. Some improvements on the water flow at the second floor is needed.

Very Expensive for a Terrible Resort”

This resort needs a massive overhauling. Dirty everything even the beddings. Had no water for toilet flushing and shower except drippings for tooth brushing. I felt guilty brushing my grandson after I noticed in the morning that the water is yellow. Perhaps from rusty pipes, who knows. Our family didn't take showers. I brought it to the hotel's attention and they sent a guy to check and fix the water problem. He said it's due to all the guests using water at the same time. However it was for the whole time we were there. We mentioned it again, but no one came to recheck and fix. I had to use the public toilet. Staying in this resort is not worth the money we paid for. I would not recommend this place unless they do a massive overhauling or reconstruction. They had tasty breakfast though. And the resort is a step to the beach. I am so glad I only had a night stay in this resort and had an awesome stay at another nearby beach resort where we cleaned up and relaxed.

Starrific Stay”

Spent my 4 days and 3 nights at Dreamwave Beach Resort Pureto Galera and I must say that this is by far the best hotel I stayed in this island. The staff are really friendly, the room is spacious and beautiful. I will definitely go back and stay in this hotel.

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times. Its not very modern but it is well maintained and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Positioned facing the beach its a short walk to the sand and water and a couple of minutes walk takes you to the centre of all the action at night.

The place was awesome though it could be improved. No phones and wifi access in the rooms (only in the lobby). The power cuts off every now and then. But, it's still a good experience. Would definitely go back if given the chance.

We stayed here in a Family Room good for 5 pax. Pros: Friendly staff, beach front, very soft and comfy beds, with very nice ambience of restaurant and terrace, nice breakfast. cons: We arrived there 1.5 hours earlier and they didn't allow us for early check in. Smelly bathroom No free drinking/service water!

Very helpful in making the stay perfect”

A great stay, attentive staff, Patrick the HK Supervisor was very responsive. They need to work on the beachfront/bar area and ditch the tattooist out the front. They make the place very unattractive.

Fantastic”

Great place to stay in whitesand if you dont like too much crowd, so the location is perfect for us 👌👍 Staff are really great. I dont understand the other reviews why they complain with the staff. Thanks for taking care of us during our stay in puerto galera. ❤❤❤ Food is ok, could be better if they add more options in the menu. The water in thr faucet is yellowish, takes time before it clears up, however we understand that they only use water pump. Overall we really had fun, and more fun! Thanks to all the staff. Our first time to visit PG, not a perfect hotel but because of the staff we really enjoyed our stay. To the tourists, please be kind to the locals, people in puerto galera are great. ❤❤❤ Thanks Dreamwave. We'll be back 👌👌

Not so nice hôtel ”

The mattress is not good too soft in the center. I don't have good sleep. The maintenant of this hotel is not really good. In the bathroom the tile is plenty of stain (hard water). The celling lamp have a lot of mosquitos die. And they can also repaint the room whitout delay. Beside of that, the deco of the hotel is really nice.

The hotel is outdated needs major renovation, however Mr. Villanueva is very accommodating he is very reliable and resourceful to accommodate our needs despite of other issues that can really be annoying especially the hotel condition.
