Food is so expensive! ”

Mahal na nga food, kokonti pa, madaya at dinadaan sa dami ng gulay. Ok lang kung mahal pero matutuwa ka, hindi e. Hindi pa available mga gusto namin, walang ingredients. Mamalengke naman sana sila di ba. The place is nice for relaxing (as in tambay) pero OA sa sobrang hangin, ganon daw talaga doon, sandali ka lang makapag swim. Do not book the forest view rooms, kawawa kayo kakalakad sa sobrang taas. Self-service pa kapag nasa beach, ikaw na oorder sa resto, ikaw pa magdadala sa beach. Magugutom kayo doon kasi magcocompute kayo ng kinain nyo. Room is ok, malaki with big cr din. With walk-in closet pa (pero ang daming poop ng daga). Nag enjoy naman kami, kelangan kasi sayang gastos, PERO HINDI NA KAMI BABALIK.

pros: smiling and helpful staffs big room and bathroom nice tv signal with lots of channels, strong wi-fi signal huge pool and a diving pool for those who need to learn scuba diving (12 feet) cons: short on staff and housekeepers so place starting to look rundown, peeling paints at the resto ceiling dusty cabinets at the reception area no little touches that could set them apart from 2-3 star resorts no choice but to eat at their resto as there are no other options, food is just okay after 10 pm all the staffs leave the island, only 1 or 2 security guards remain

A relaxing experience and superb accomodation from the staffs ”

Pros - quiet place , clean rooms, nice bed , and superb services from the staff. Cons - not so much activity to do in the island and we have to ride a boat to go to Muelle Port and visit other places . Also , the Forest View rooms are high and will take 116 steps to reach them not advisable for seniors.

Great place for peace and quiet”

Nice facility with modern, clean rooms. The downside is you cannot freely leave this property explore town or try various restaurants or nightlife. Only access to property by boat.

No Water Supply”

When we got there, that was the only time they notified us that they do not have water supply in the area. What are we supposed to do then? They should have just temporarily suspended their operation. Or the least they could have done is to notify us in advance, because apparently, it's been days that they were having water supply problem, so we could have opted to reschedule our trip. Disappointing.

Relaxing holiday stay”

We had a relaxing stay at this resort - note this is not near the main Puerto Galera island. We booked online and was immediately contacted by Christine who gave us convenient options on how to reach the island. She arranged our van transport and boats. We also managed to leave on schedule despite an incoming storm through the help of Christine. The resort itself is not that big but there are options to book island hopping tours which we were not able to do due to the weather. Food options are good as well. Overall the place is good for relaxing.

Nice place to chill...”

Friday’s Puerto Galera is a really good place to chill and relax. Very quiet and private. Everything was smooth, from my booking, pick up arrangement and check-in. Everyone of their staffs were nice and accomodating, from the receptionist who answered all my inquiries over the phone before our check in date to the kitchen staffs, bell boys and boat assists. Buffet breakfasts was really good specially their chicken adobo. Few things we don’t like about the resort are. First, that the rooms smells like molds and so are the cabinets, reason why ne never use the robes and cabinets. Second there were very few choices of food on their menu and during our stay they don’t all the beefs in their menu. Lastly there where not much activities for the small kids to do than just swim on thr pool and on the sand. I hope they put up a playground on one of their vacant spaces. All in all our stay was good and one for the books. We would like to go back and see some more improvements.

Beautiful island, not crowded , nice place to relax, my son enjoyed watching the netflix since they have smart TV , The restaurant closes at 830pm and bar closes at 9pm , the pool is very slippery for both adult and kids , they should replace the tile on the edge of the pool, saw many children running and slip , no lifeguard , very dangerous.

Nice resort ”

It is very nice and wonderful resort it has everything except a grocery, but it was ok since the town is not that far from the resort you can get a boat to the town and buy whatever you like. I like the food there the staff was very friendly and helpful.

disappointing luxurious resort”

Fridays is located on a unique spot in boquette bay which makes it a quiet place with nice views over the sea. The pro's are big rooms with good beds and aircon, a nice pool and excellent views of the bay. Also the staff tries to do their best with the resources they have and the airtrav waterplane lands in front of the resort The cons however weigh heavily after a 4 days stay: many items on the menu are not available even simple stuff like ice cream for the kids. The breakfast is definitely not luxurious with canned corn beef, old bread and for dinner many items on the menu are lacking. The location is unique but to go ashore you need to take a boat with ridiculous pricing after 6pm. Maybe a luxurious resort should have their own boats? The beach looks nice but during low tide there is a lot of mud which makes it unsuitable for swimming during most of the day. The resort is barely finished so lots of construction is visible and not all is savely finishes (pipes and rebar stick

Excepțional”

Definitely would come back! Our short-stay was totally amazing! The room was incredibly huge, and the bed is nothing but perfect, luxurious as it is. Perfect for honeymooners like us. Big thanks to staffs named Kenneth, Rhea and Berna who were very accommodating and helpful during our stay. And to Thet who was quick to respond to my email. On the contrary, the beach stretch is the only drawback. During lowtide, it is muddy and is not swimmable. Given the pool is great, it is better that guests may also have the option to go for beach swimming.

One Year Anniversary : D”

Fridays was delightful, and we will go back again!!! This is a basically a new Resort in Puerto Galera, soon to enjoy their one year anniversary as well in Dec. 2018. The Villas are very nice, modern yet still with the natural surroundings décor. This is a great place to relax, slow down, take in fresh clean air and recharge… The staff was very attentive, kind and joyful. Awesome”

The stay is wonderful! If you want a relaxed stay, this is where you'd want to be. The room we stayed was good has has complete facilities as well as amenities contrary to some comments here (I guess they have improved). The staff from reception, to restaurant up to the maintenance and security were polite and friendly. Kuya guard even let us get Camachile from the tree near the dock. The food was okay and a bit pricy considering the taste.
