Had a really pleasant stay!”
Hostel was just renovated and opened the day I arrived. Somethings didn’t work at start (for example elecricity) but staff handled the situations very well and got everything working really quick! I stayed at dormitory at first time in my life and was amazed how clean and neat the room was :) In addition they had really really good vegan breakfast. The location of the hostel was fantastic, everything is close and can be reached by walking. Only minus is the noise at night since there is a bar downstairs. Though the weekend I stayed has been extra noisy due to the opening party I suppose. In any way I still managed get to sleep with earplugs and because I’m not usually bothered by noises.

Fantastic hotel with excellent and friendly staff, a lovely comfortable bed, good sized bathroom with bathtub in e brilliant and extremely central location. Manchester Picadilly Station was a 10 minute walk away, Primary a 5 minute walk away and the Arndale Center another 7 minute walk away. There are lots of cafes, restaurants and vars close to the hotel and the hotel even offer a 15% discount on food and drinks at the bar downstairs and the restaurant next door. I'd definitely recommend staying here

Booked an 8 bed room for one night. The place seemed clean as did the toilets/showers. The shower in the room was not weak and worked as expected. Staff seemed friendly based on the little interaction I had with them. The walls are a bit thin and given the area, you may be able to hear noise from outside.

I had a good experience at Hatters! I would like to give a special compliment to two staffs who were very attentive. Bobbi always helped me with anything that I needed. And Lukas too, great at the job he does and goes beyond what we asked to help us get the best experience, that kind of contributor we say that wears the company shirt and makes things happen.

It's very cute, location is fantastic, the room was clean and staff is nice. The only gripe I had was not getting hot water in the shower and in general being cold in the room but that might just be the entire UK

1st class for most things , unfortunately as much as the upgrade has happened too a good standard , I missed the TV room ( lost in the upgrade) when chilling at the hostel this time , been coming for a few years now and will always come , thank you for a marvelous stay

Basic but suitable hostel in the middle of Manchester with friendly staff”
The hostel isn't particularly visible from the outside, rather blending in with the surrounding bars and restaurants, but once you do find your way in, the staff are very welcoming, friendly and willing to have a laugh. The room I stayed in was spacious enough even with 8 or so double bunk beds in it. The beds themselves were comfortable enough and each had it's own plug socket. The bathroom and wash facilities were a little underwhelming with a shower door that wouldn't close properly without some forceful encouragement, the temperature control unit barely clinging onto the wall and the sink not being in the bathroom but in the dorm itself which meant I skipped brushing my teeth in the night in order not to disturb anybody trying to get to sleep, but these weren't issues that dramatically affected my stay and overall, it was a decent enough place for the price I paid.

Was a perfect place for a night before a flight. Quick walk to train station. Plenty of great food and drink options. Was in a 4 bed room and felt it was clean and comfortable

Pros: good location as it’s very near from bus station (Piccadilly gardens) and Manchester free bus stop. Receptionist is super helpful :) Cons: room smelled not fresh/ some guests dry used towels everywhere with causes the unpleasant smell and views (probably because less facility provided by hostel.

Front of house staff extremely friendly and accommodating. No frills hotel, a little noisy outside and can be heard in the room. But my double room was clean and the bed very comfortable.

Cheap and cheerful with great location ”
Great for the Northern Quarter and only a 11 min walk from Manchester Victoria. Rooms were basic but just what you need for a short stay.

Not bad at all for a short stay. Expected much worse after reading some reviews. My 4 bed dorm looked nice, even has a full length mirror and an ensuite bathroom with a rainshower. Downside is all the clubbing and traffic noise from the street at night. No free breakfast currently available, because the kitchen is being renovated.
