Great ambience and very relaxing!”

Location of the resort is atop a hill surrounded by lush greeneries. If you are looking for a getaway that is just a short drive from Manila, this is the place for you. The cabana rooms are great with a very ample space and jacuzzi. Although food choice is limited, the overall ambience, staff friendliness more than compensates for this!

Loved the pool!”

My family and I loved the warm natural hot springs water in the pool. :) Room is okay. the towels are a bit old, but clean. sheets are clean and there are a lot of channels on the cable TV. We are planning to go back here

Disappointed”

It was an amazing place but i was disappointed because upon checking in the kids are so excited to swim with their pools but we were told we can only swim with only one pool because the upper (4 pools) are occupied by a private company until 12mn! Hope they won't allow booking if they accepted company outings. The kids cannot swim at 12mn because they are tired already and sleepy! I felt i was shorchanged😡we were able to swim for a few hours the following day after breakfast as we are checking out at 12nn. As we checked out we saw another tarpaulin again that they will have another company that will occupy the upper pools!

Great View of Laguna De Bay”

The resort is situated at foot of Mt. Makiling and has a fantastic view of the Laguna De Bay. Great view. Plus the Cabin Villa has its own jacuzzi. Although when booking.. it is best to book with Agoda as walk-in rate are higher.

Recommended for those who just want to relax and have a day off”

The place is very accessible since it's just a 2-hour drive from Manila, and the resort is bigger than I expected. The view is amazing. The people who work there are so nice, friendly and accommodating. I love the jacuzzi. There's also a bar where you can listen to songs played by a band. Really enjooyed my stay. I will definitely go back again in the future.

Hot springs and great views”

This resort is very relaxing. The views are great, but there was some construction going on at the time. In the near future there will be more pools, a function centre and an amphitheatre. It is set on the hills of Mt Makiling. The Jacuzzis in the cabana rooms are wonderful. The only negative would be the long walk from the rooms to the main building.

bad room”

all the facilities are very very old. our room is a family room and we sleep at 11:00PM EVERYTHING IS OK, i wake up at 6:00 am i found the floor is full of water , then i check the bath room i find out the water liking from the water tube, very terrible experience.

Foarte bun”

Experience was great! My 2 kids loved the pool. My husband enjoyed the outdoor Jacuzzi. This was a perfect get away for us and I really prefer hot spring for overnight swimming especially for kids so the pools were just perfect! The only disappointment was the cleanliness of the bathroom/CR. I am not a meticulous person but one thing that sets me off is a dirty CR. Ours wasn't really dirty but the tiles were already yellowish. Overall, we would still recommend the place as we enjoyed our stay especially my kids. We will definitely come back.

Great Affordable Destination”

Although I wouldn’t say it is perfect, I am glad to say that I was extremely satisfied with our experience at this resort. Please try their Cabanas and enjoy a relaxing jacuzzi right inside your room!!!

Nice View!”

The location is quite good and very nice lake view! The cabana has private pool inside, very convenient. But you can not drain the water in the pool by yourself, but to ask the hotel staff for help instead. There are 3 restaurants, but only one opens in weekdays!

Worst To Best”

Would like commend the quality of customer serviced from the front desk team of Sol Y Viento Mountain Hot Spring Resort. Led by their very pleasing supervisor Vanessa Magpantay, the almost “failed” special event of our trip to the resort due to the mishap with the online reservation was complemented with a superb customer service gesture of letting us use the presidential suite.

Too Loud”

We stayed in May 2017, there must have been some party happening whilst we where there and it was extremely loud at night, not much spleep. The pools are absolutely lovely, well worth the visit, 15 min walk to the shops if you want to buy something, very relaxing experience, nestled in a quiet location.

Quiet Escape”

I had a great time during my stay. The place was quiet which is what I want most when I book hotels for a quick escape. The staff were courteous and responsive to our requests. The surrounding was relaxing because of the lush trees and cool breeze over looking the bay. You may swim overnight for as long as you want and at times when the weather gets chilly like now it is perfect that the water(on the pool and everywhere) is from warm to hot as it is a natural hot spring. They have warm pools and those that border 40deg. They have a day pass which is very affordable and you may bring food as well.

Fantastic”

Place is so relaxing and peaceful as it is overlooking the Laguna de Bay. I just think that the pool is too far from our room so we all have to go out each time the kids are going for a swim. All else is very good.

Nice getaway”

Exceeded my expectation!! My family enjoyed our stay. Please be strict with the swimming attire and the need to do shower first before going to the pool. The curtain are already stained and the room is a bit dusty. But over all, we enjoyed the place and the food. We are looking forward to go back and with family and friends.

Good place only that my 90 yr old father cant climb the stairs.”

The amenities were great, the dormitory rooms were good enough for the family. If you can provide elevator or easy access for senior citizen who cant climb the stairs. Thank you for the warm service of your staff.

Not Really Worth the Money”

The facilities were nice, the pools were well attended, and the front desk staff were very good at apologizing. However it was necessary to appeal to the front desk staff in person to get maid service and many items on the room service menu were "not available". The hotel is a long hike up a steep hill and If you are interested in touring in the area then its best to rent or bring a car. The hotel does not offer much in the way of assisting with local transport, though they will call a tricycle. Tricycles in the area are small even by Filipino standards and very uncomfortable for a 6-footer like me. Next time we will go to a less expensive place in town (there are perhaps 50) with better access to transport and the local attractions.

No improvement for the last 3 years”

Ive been here some time 2013 then decided to comeback again this year. I was so shocked that no major improvement was made in their facilities for the last 3 years. the terraces-like pools were still under construction ive seen it 3 years ago too. hehehe. we stayed in a family room good for 4 pretty expensive for an overnight stay given the fact that no other activities the hotel can offer aside from swimming in their hotspring and cold pools. staffs are okay. well they are not really warm like last time. i dunno why?. place is kinda far from manila because of horrendous traffic but the high rise location of the hotel is really their selling point. well this is still much better compared to other hotspring hotels and private resort in pansol.

Family Summer Vacation Spree”

The place is so nice. My kids really enjoyed the hot spring especially the kiddie pool. They really enjoyed swimming until 9pm. The place is so relaxing and good for medidation. The overlooking scenery is the one that makes it atop from the rest. I didn't expect that there is a place like this in Laguna. Overall our stay here is really unforgettable. Thank you Sol Y Viento!

Cabana Honeymoon ”

My husband and I rented one of the cabana rooms with a private hot tub for a night as part of our honeymoon. This was in March so the evenings were still cool enough to make use of the hot springs. The drive up to the resort was easy and we only had to make a u-turn when we realized we missed the sign. The hill is steep but our car made it just fine. Check in was good and the staff was friendly. They helped us bring our bags to the cabana and showed us how to turn on the faucet for the hot tub. The room was super cute especially since they decorated with swan towels and flowers. And we even got a bowl of fruit. I didn't realize the cabana had a little kitchenette until we got there. There is a sink, a microwave and even a rice cooker to use. Out the side door there is a grill but we didn't bring picnic things to cook, we decided to order room service for one meal and go to the Pancake House twice. Once for a late lunch and then the next day for breakfast. It's nice to have the Pancake House right there in the main building. The staff there are great too. The outdoor baths are nice and there are plenty of them to choose from so you don't feel crowded next to strangers. We went out to use them at night and then again in the morning. The staff will turn the jets on when you get in if you want them. The grounds are well maintained so I took lots of pictures because everything was so pretty. We had a great time and we will visit again sometime for a longer stay.
