The resort was exactly what we needed to recharge our batteries. It was a perfect two day get away. The staff were amazing, the cleanliness was also amazing and the food was just as amazing! The delux room we booked was equipped with everything that is needed and more. The room had a terrace that overlooked the dunes and the deer that casually visited every evening while we sat on the terrace was just beautiful. Not to mention, the little chocolate surprises that were left on the pillows with every room service was very sweet. The resort has two pools, one with rocks and the view of the dunes, the other a fresh water pool that is cool and refreshing. The breakfast buffet has an amazing variety and well worth the early start. All in all, it was a wonderful break but the best thing about the resort is the wild life. Seeing the deer up close and totally at ease is just beautiful. The birds that tweet away every morning while they build their nests is so nice to watch. Fabulous!

Honest and lengthy review”
We spent 2 evenings at Telal Resort in one of the heritage village rooms /apartments mid October 2020. 1. Staff - I was very impressed with the staff. They were very friendly, well spoken and all were very well informed. They also weren't shy and it was fun talking to them. I've been to resorts where you have to ask some one for a basic enquiry and they have to pass the question along to someone else and so forth. Not here. They were bang on time each and every time. When you book an activity at a certain time they are there on time. Not a minute too late. The room service was very good. 2. Surroundings - this isn't a resort with children's activities at the pool and music and all you can drink weekends. It's ideal to be peaceful, secluded and relax. The desert view right from your doorstep is absolutely majestic. The rooms are stunning with that Arabic carpet and wood finishing. The resort also has a no loud music policy and they take your car keys from you to ensure there is no dune bashing to disturb the peace. I love that idea. No 2am burning rubber sessions outside the resort. We saw gazelles from the terrace regularly. Seriously the desert and surroundings are gorgeous. 3. Activities - they have everything you'd like - safari, archery, zip line, chess, camel and horse riding, swimming, spa and a gym. Although these are quite pricey I'd highly recommend the 370 AED Arabic fire setting where they bring cushions and make a fire in front of your house. It's mesmerising to watch the flames in the quiet desert backdrop with the stars above. Wort every penny. You can even sleep under the stars. Summary - simply one of the most relaxing and beautiful weekends of our lives. If you ever want to try a desert resort I'd highly recommend Telal Resort. It's just simply beautiful.

Quiet, peaceful and relaxing”
We stayed here for 1 night just to spend our anniversary. The best stay ever. The environment was pleasant and welcoming. Its quiet, peaceful and very relaxing. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy by Gandor. The drivers were always quick to assist us. If only work permits us we probably extend our visit. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff were nice and amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting here. We will definitely come back!!!

Very clean with amazing facilities. The pool is temperature controlled with nice shaded areas. Staff is kind and caring and go above and beyond. Only problem we had was we ordered pizza from room service and it was average. Note that this is a dry resort.

Although we booked through Agoda only for a night, right after that first day, we knew we had to stay longer. It was such an amazing experience! From hotel staff, the room, the view, food wise, all the activities that was included, so worth it. We compare this place to another desert resort that we went to, Telal is surely a winner! Definitely will come back this year.

Staffs are very kind and helpful. The only issue we had was at 3am, while we were sleeping. the fire alarm went off several times. we reported it to the reception, they informed us that the alarm was due to some issues with the system, but the alarm still went off twice after we spoke. Fortunately, on our 2nd night no alarm went off and they were very apologetic about it.

Absolutely beautiful place. The villas with fire pit in the back are just the perfect way to spend an evening in desert. One of those places where you feel like time is stop by. Definitely recommend it for a romantic getaway from city.
