Unfortunately the area of Calamba Laguna has very few options and The Green Glass is the best one. I think it is slightly overpriced. They do have a # of room options and I suggest getting a better room. The location is in the heart of town so getting around is easy. The best part of The Green Glass is the extremely youthful staff whom are the NICEST I have encountered in over one hundred Philippine stays! You as a guest will always be taken care of immediately by the helpful staff!!!!

Rhena has made all the difference in my sojourn to calamba. She understood my worries and anxieties as a line traveler and made sure those important things were kept safe. The hotel could have been more had it boasted the picturesque Mt. Mailing instead of the plying busses etc at the national road. They could also serve free breakfast buffets for the amount that they are charging and for visitor total satisfaction

Pros •Near McDonalds, overpass, SM Calamba and has 7/11 downstairs •Staffs are superb, very helpful, accomodating and always serve you with a smile :) Cons • The wifi in our room is slow, I have to sit in a specific place to get a good connection. • Heater is not working • No slippers provided, we expected all hotels provide slippers so we didn't bring one.

Good location”

Located in the middle town, public spot which is SM City Calamba. There's a mcdonald and 7Eleven down the hotel. Bus station opposite the hotel. Main public transports are tricycle & jeepney, if need taxi you need to get it from out of the town (no taxi in calamba). The only good option in town.

Small Hotel with BIG standards”

The picture on the booking portrays a larger hotel, when I arrived to this small hotel I expected to be disapointed but this soon vapourized as the staff were excellent. I arrived very late at the hotel, they knew my name, they assisted with car parking, which they guarded through-out the night. The hotel, although small is very clean, the facilities are not huge but the people working there need to be applauded for all there efforts. All the little things you need are available. This really was the most pleasant surprise in such a small town. Well done 'Green Glass', you made a hectic business trip very easy.

I had reserved Royal Superior;upon check-in was assigned room.Although very clean, there's absolutely nothing 'Royal' or 'Superior' about it. It's in fact nothing more than a stationary supply storage room behind the reception desk. It does not even have a window. I was ready to forfeit my deposit and go to another hotel. After complaining and talking with the manager, was assigned another room, which is supposed to be deluxe. As industry professional, I find it standard. However, all the staff are extremely courteous/helpful; esp. the staff ,who went out of her way to serve me. Overall it was a very pleasant stay & would not hesitate to recommend it.

Since restaurants are just around the hotel and also many cheap price markets are within few steps, plues the near by SM Mall you can buy everything and eat easily. Besides, the covered pedestrian over walk is really convenient for all people, The hotel is clean and the room they upgraded me is also roomy, I will stay again if I visit Calamba next time.

Comfortable hotel within the City of Calamba”

the staff were polite and accomodating, i was upgraded to superior room without extra cost since the room i reserve was not available at that time. i got extra room facilities at no cost the staff even arrange my trip the next morning to my destination (great help for me since i dont know the place very well). 2nd and 3rd floors can only be accessed through key card given to hotel guest which is good for security and privacy reason.

Best deal for the Buck!”

We stayed at the Green Glass twice (once for 3 nights, and again for 4 nights) within a 10 day period from 21-30 November 2018. There was total 3 of us, which included our 10 year old. The Deluxe Room has microwave, and mini fridge that both works good, with wet bar. Sofa bench bed for child, large king size (almost) bed. Good AC unit, and TV with satellite. There is CNN but no FOX! (They get extra points for that!). The rooftop bar/restaurant offers very warm beer, and less than impressive fare. But with the SM mall a short 5 min walk away, with the incredible food court on the second floor there, you can literally eat whatever you want! Also, McDonalds as well as 7-11 right next door! If you are a light/early sleeper, request your room to be on a lower floor, as the karaoke can be a bit loud. I look forward to returning to the Green Glass, thanks again to the Staff of the Hotel that I will rated the best of my 2 week visit to Luzon!

Best place to stay if you travelling to calamba due to the location and affordable price. Things to improve: Please get a new linen/cloth/towel/bedsheet as they are in poor condition. Secondly, toilet maintenance, water heater & drainage.

ok for budget travel”

staff are very accomodating. the hotel is ok. thin walls can hear noise from the nxt room.sheets are clean but old. towels were smelly had it replaced. hot water ok. big room has fridge. accessible for public transportation near market, sm, waltermart etc

Decent location, basic hotel”

Pros: - decent location - next to MacDonald and 7-11 - less than 3 mins walk to SM Mall - good AC Cons- - no breakfast - connecting to Wi-Fi was a real pain - staff were in their own world. - hotel is dirty, full of cob webs - reception area is weirdly hidden on the 2nd floor. Need to take the tiny lift or the weird flights of stairs to reach it. - bathroom is old and dirty - bath towels had disgusting smell. Not sure if they used it for both towel and floor mat. They were small, thin and very worn. Yucks!! - the bed had perspiration smell -need to leave the hotel urgently, left belongings lying around, indicated "Do not disturb " but the room was still being made up anyway. If we need to, we will show the "make up room" sign. Otherwise What is the purpose of these signs?! - no amenities.. nothing at all. Verdict A no frill, basic hotel for customers who has 0 expectation just need the room to sleep away. That is if u are not particular about the hygiene, smell of the towel, bed etc

Central Calamba Location”

As a Westerner, I needed a centrally located hotel and this was the ideal choice and, I wasn't disappointed. After a speedy check-in, we were shown to our room which was immaculate, I choose to upgrade to a Deluxe room as I was staying for eleven nights, so the fridge, microwave, and extra space was much appreciated. My room was located on the third floor close to the elevator which you could not hear from inside the room. This town never sleeps so if you are overlooking the main street it can be noisey so all you light sleepers may need some earplugs, as for me it was not a problem. The staff here will go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible, with any request (Towels, water, or even toilet paper) at your room door with a smile in minutes. Would I stay here again??? YES without any doubt. Would I change anything, If I could?? Yes, Open the rooftop sooner, even if just for drinks, as it's a real sun trap.
